Chapter 55 [Tricksie]
"Awwwww! Where are you going? Don't you want to play?" A voice asked playfully.
The man felt a tug on his tattered button-up sleeve and turned around. When he did, he found Tricksie, a bunny woman.
His heart skipped a beat. The beast woman was gorgeous beyond comprehension.
Tricksie's vibrant blue eyes popped against her white hair and melted into the streaks of teal weaving through it.
Her light blue bunny ears were cute and perfectly matched her white v-neck shirt and matching light blue cardigan.
Looking at Tricksie, he never thought someone like her could survive the apocalypse. She looked too playful. Too innocent. For a moment, the man even thought to ask if he could save her.
However, her lack of anxiety triggered his fight or flight response and broke him out of his delusions.
"This way!" Tricksie said playfully while grabbing his hand and running back to the barrier.
The man's eyes widened in panic. He immediately attempted to dig his heels into the ground.
However, he couldn't. He looked down and found he was airborne.
Not just that. The ground got farther and farther away.
The man looked up and found a massive, giant bunny woman playfully skipping back to the newly erected barrier the men were pounding on.
"Heya!" Tricksie called out in a cheery voice.
Everyone behind the barrier froze in shock from the scene they were witnessing, causing the man's anxiety to grow.
"This little guy got lost. So I thought I'd return him to ya!" She announced with a head tilt and dazzling smile.
The giant bunny girl flicked the toy-sized man into her palm and wound her arm back into a fast pitch. The motion caused him to experience a violent head rush from the 4 G's of equivalent gravity.
Then she threw him, doubling the G force on his body instantly. If nearly caused him to pass out; unfortunately, it didn't.
Time moved in superhuman slow motion.
As if he were in a dream, he watched as he flew over an army of titans.
However, the farther he flew, the smaller they got.
They got smaller.
And smaller.
Until the person that he was crashing toward was the same size he was.
The entire experience happened in a fraction of a second.
BOOOOOOOM!
A crimson rose exploded in the center of the crowd.
His body hit the area like a meteorite and crushed everyone standing there in a gory explosion of falling dominos.
Leon's eyes widened in shock and then looked at Tricksie.
The bunny woman had the most delighted face imaginable, which slightly horrified Leon.
Psychopaths found a thrill in killing things; they didn't feel happy, as they never felt that emotion. Whatever her deal was, he felt it wasn't murder related.
She shrunk large objects into something she could throw. Then they instantly returned to normal size as they flew and smashed against the ground or other objects with surreal force.
Regardless of how big an item was, it suffered the same fate.
It was an incomprehensible power to ask for during the apocalypse. Useful, yes. Foresight to see its usefulness when facing death? No.
That meant that she asked for a power that suited her personality.
He decided to befriend the woman for the devastating potential of her power and the insanity it took to get it. After confirming both in a surreal demonstration, he knew he made the right choice.
The sight was truly mind-bending to watch.
Leon watched Tricksie playfully grab the man's hand in true superhuman slowmotion from a different perspective.
The man smoothly shrunk to the size of a porcelain doll.
Then a toy human.
A model.
Finally, he was the size of a baseball when Tricksie flicked him info her palm and threw him with superhuman strength through the temporarily released barrier.
When the power released him, he instantly became his original size in mid-flight, sending his original body flying toward whatever stood in his way.
The unnaturalness of the speed, paired with his size, led the superhuman fastball to smash into other humans at 180 mph.
It was brutal to watch.
"That… was beautiful, Tricksie." Leon chuckled in disbelief, "Receiving your panties is officially an honor."
"Why thank'ya~" Tricksie giggled, "Do you want to see my new ones? You can't have'em unless you ask, but I'll show you."
Lindy narrowed her eyes at her behavior, and Caitlyn growled while reestablishing the barrier, but he knew they wouldn't bite. She was too valuable.
Leon didn't respond. He wasn't even looking at her when he said those words.
Instead, he stared at the people behind Tricksie, locked in the re-erected barrier. Everyone was quaking in their boots. The results of her demonstration were stellar.
"Trauma. Keep it up. You're doing great." Leon whispered with a grin.
Leon turned to Caitlyn and Tricksie, who were both pouting after being ignored. But they immediately perked up when he looked at them.
"Tricksie. Hop on Caitlyn's back with the holster." He instructed, "Caitlyn, when I say move, release the barrier. If anyone doesn't move, have Tricksie pick them up and drop them from the sky."
"Got it, babe." Caitlyn said with a smile while her wings sprouted from her back, hypnotizing the candidates and survivors.
Tricksie didn't hesitate either. She enthusiastically hopped onto Caitlyn's back like she was a horse, aggravating the blonde.
Two notifications of Sick'Em went out. The power affected any woman that was asked to kill an individual and complied without hesitation.
He walked up to the barrier in a display of power and addressed them.
"Okay!" Leon said while clapping.
"I'm getting seriously fucking annoyed with you all.
So let's play a game. It's called men move to the side in three seconds. If you don't, you'll instantly start dying en masse.
Tutorial over. Let's go, MOVE!"
Most men immediately moved to the side. The first to move was the man with the beard that insulted Leon at the beginning.
When countless people ran after the barrier was released, he held back. Now he gratefully clung to the building wall to get out of sight.
Countless people did the same. However, one man was twitching from a humiliation and shame fueled mental breakdown.
While Tricksie and Leon were indeed powerful, they were both people that could only attack one person at a time.
There were over seven hundred men present. If they attacked at once, he was convinced they could slaughter Leon, Tricksie, and the other eighty people with ease.
But they didn't because they were too afraid to move. He was one of those men.
It made him feel so powerless and worthless, despite having superpowers.
He looked up to yell or attack. However, as he opened his mouth, his speech was hijacked.
"How cute! Gimmie-gimmie-gimmie!" Tricksie squealed from above.
The man looked up just in time to see the horrifying bunny reaching out to him like the other man before him.
Tricksie grabbed the man's wrist, and he instantly began shrinking.
"AGHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…."
His high-pitched scream grew fainter as he flew into the sky.
"...hhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHH!"
And it got louder and normal as he felt toward the earth.
BOOOOM!
Leon clapped again. "Let's try this again! Get the fuck to the side!"

[A/N: I hope you love Tricksie. This was her chapter, and it was short because I didn't want any other character shining. :)]
