Greatest Streamer System

Chapter 61: Chapter 61 – New Friend [2]

Max indeed greatly underestimated this world and its technology.

When he arrived at the rooftop with StoneSword and Lily, a private jet actually arrived and landed vertically. Not only was the plane stable, but there was also no strong wind that was usually created when a helicopter or the plane's engine was on.

"It's just a small jet, but enjoy your flight," StoneSword said as they entered the jet and were welcomed by the crew inside.

'Hahaha… Small, he said.'

The private jet's size was actually the same as the average passenger plane back on Earth. The interior design was luxurious, built like a living room, and had a rather vast space.

'They must be pretty rich.'

No, maybe just 'Rich' was underestimating them. Filthy rich might be a better word to use to describe their wealth.

"It's an amazing jet."

Sitting across from StoneSword and Lily, Max let out an amazed voice as the jet took off. There was almost no sound or a rocky feeling at all. It was a smooth take-off.

He looked at the two, who kindly invited him, and smiled.

"Once again, thank you for inviting me."

"Hahaha, our destination is the same, so it's nothing. Besides, I want to talk to you about something, Breeze." StoneSword replied and crossed his legs.

"Please, feel free to," Max responded.

It was just perfect. Breaking the ice and getting closer to him was something Max also wanted, as he was curious about StoneSword and asked for some advice.

"I wonder…" StoneSword started, leaning slightly, "How did you train to move that good? Wall run is actually not something new; many people have tried it. However, all they could do was stop themselves in the air for a little bit before jumping away. Yes, I believe you call that double jump."

Max nodded.

It wasn't so surprising. People would always try to do something new, even if it sounded stupid and didn't seem to be possible.

"How do I train? Hmm… Actually, I never trained. I just ran a lot and tried to find the fastest way to reach my school back then. Hahaha… I was quite poor and stingy that I couldn't even afford Sky Rail and chose to run. That's how I trained."

He didn't lie.

Back on Earth or even in this world, Max was quite stingy. He wouldn't even spend on a train or Sky Rail, even if it was rather cheap and had money.

In fact, he also started doing parkour after getting interested in a video where people could run fast through obstacles. Who would have expected that he had a knack for it and became so good?

"Running…"

StoneSword took Max's explanation seriously and nodded. He didn't even doubt him at all.

Not finished with his explanation yet, Max continued.

"Besides that, I also love to climb to a high place. If there is something that looks like it can be climbed, I would climb it."

Max laughed shyly and scratched his cheek. There was no correct way to train parkour. One only needed to try and try until they mastered it.

Of course, there were a few techniques that could be learned and needed to be mastered before doing anything dangerous. However, most parkour training only consisted of trial and error.

"I see. In short, you're good because of your hard work. Is it possible to give me a few tricks for wall run? No matter how I tried, I always failed. It's a wonder how my little sister became better than me or even Flexy after she watched you directly."

"You are just bad," Lily commented flatly. Then, she put on her headphones and watched an animal documentary video on the hologram screen she brought out.

"Hahaha, that's cold, little sister." StoneSword chuckled.

He was already used to his little sister's cold attitude, unlike Max.

The latter was quite surprised that Lily spoke sharply to his brother. He thought that she was quite a soft-spoken girl, seeing how she always looked rather shy.

'People have many sides. We don't really know them no matter how hard we try.' He thought.

"So, Breeze. Is there a little trick that we need to use to master that wall run? Of course, I am not pushing you. You can refuse to tell me, and I don't mind. People have secrets, especially if that's what makes them rise."

Understanding the circumstances, StoneSword didn't really force Max to tell him. On top of everyone else, he knew that the kind of secret or technique that streamers use usually became their main points.

Many streamers wanted to keep such a secret themselves. It was their weapon in this industry.

"I don't mind. But…"

"But?"

Max wasn't like them. Compared to other people who thought that his wall run was unique, he knew better than anyone could learn them.

Before that happened, he would use it—the simple trick in exchange for important knowledge.

"I'd like to ask for some advice regarding streaming if you don't mind. Hahaha, I am a bit uncertain about what I should do next as I finished Knight's Journey already."

Without a doubt, StoneSword had extensive knowledge as he was a veteran streamer. His specialty was a realistic game, but that didn't change the fact he knew something more than newbies like Max.

Knowledge was power.

StoneSword smiled softly after hearing Max's words.

"Sharing is caring." He said, "I don't mind as long as you promise not to tell anyone. I quite like you, so I will share what I know with you."

"I am sorry, but I like girls." Max retorted jokingly and moved back slightly.

"Pfft!" Lily burst out laughing after she heard Max. "S-Sorry, please continue." She said, covering her mouth with her hand, still laughing.

"You're also quite funny," StoneSword commented. "I like you even more now. No homo." He raised his hand to show that he was serious.

Actually, he wasn't offended at all and enjoyed joking around. People around him were too stiff, so it was quite pleasant to have someone who didn't even care or know about his position like Max.

'Maybe that's why Lily is also comfortable around him.' He thought. 'This guy is quite funny.'

"Phew… I thought my chastity was in danger." Max sighed in relief and smiled, "Setting that aside, let's continue. The trick to wall run, huh? If you do it like this…"

Max began to explain the trick to wall run to StoneSword, explaining it while showing the video of him teaching Flexy from his VOD.

After he was done, StoneSword also gave some advice. He even answered Max's question about what games were popular lately and likely gaining viewers' attention.

Both of them were pleased with the conversation. They quickly became friends with each other and even exchanged chat IDs. Lily also asked for Max's, saying to contact her anytime if he needed anything.

Before long, the private jet landed in Lime City.
