Chapter 22: Titan Lord Luyang [II]

Chapter 22: Titan Lord Luyang [II]

"Lord Luyang, you know about our home?"

Zhang Wang Jing asked in complete shock. The titan lord had never been to their home before, so how did he know where they were living? Could that be as a result of the level of power of the titan lord? But he couldn't be aware of the cultivation chamber they found, could he?.

"Yes, I do. I built the place."

"Heaven's tears!"

They all exclaimed in utter astonishment. The titan Lord built the whole cave? Could he be the original owner of the cave? And that meant he also knew about their cultivation chamber.

"The initial owner of the place is a friend of mine, but he has long ascended. It's yours now. Anyway, how do you all see the place?"

"It's a wonderful place, lord Luyang."

"All this while, we've been wondering about the great design of the place."

"Wonder no more, that's the way of life. And by the way, If I happen to be around your area, can I drop by to say my greetings?"

"Yes, lord Luyang."

They all answered quickly as one before Zhang Li Qiang continued.

"We will be more than honoured to welcome you to our home."

"Please, do come, titan lord Luyang. We insist on it."

Zhang Wang Jing quipped in expectantly. Who wouldn't want a friendly titan lord as a guest?

The legends of old.

"Alright then. Please, don't mind the trouble in the future."

"And thank you for saving us the other day, lord Luyang. We are very grateful."

"Yes, thank you lord Luyang. If not for you, we would have been dead by now."

Lord Luyang shook his head as he dismissed their words with a gentle wave of his hand.

"As I've told you before, no need to thank me, I was simply available at the right time."

After his family were through with their immediate questions, and were preparing to leave, Ju Feng looked anxiously at the titan lord. He had been keeping quiet about the questions bothering him, but now had the opportunity he had been waiting for to ask the titan lord about them.

"Titan lord Luyang sir, I have a question, two questions?"

He bowed deeply as he waited for the words of the titan lord.

"Oh, alright. Please, go on."

"Yes, sir. The cores you mentioned, what are they for? And did the titan find the one he was looking for?"

He asked in a respectful manner, albeit with a shaky voice.

"Titan king."

Lord Luyang gently corrected Ju Feng before continuing.

"Nevertheless, I'll tell you. Ultimate cores are used for utmost crafting. Absolute items can be forged with the core-stones, but they are so difficult to do. Even for me, it'll be almost impossible to craft with one ultimate cores. Although there are legendary craftsmen who can make items from one or even two cores, they are extremely rare on any plane. The topmost celestial forgers can make absolute items from two, but for three cores or more? None in existence as far as I'm concerned. That's why there are not many of these cores in existence."

With a slight pause, he slowly turned his head sideways to observe his other guests.

"As for the core the titan king went looking for, I'm not quite sure. Although he mentioned something in the information he left behind, I don't know if he only saw it, or brought it back with him, or never found it in the first place. But when he came through the primordial gates, i learnt there was no black star core with him. And the accounts of the Nefrims confirmed this. Would that be all, young one?"

Receiving a confirmatory nod from Ju Feng, the titan lord then glanced at Chu Shang Wu.

"Chu Shang Wu, I believe you are ready to share some pointers with me?"

"It's the other way around, titan lord Luyang. I'm the one here to learn from your vast knowledge."

And with that, the Zhang family took their leave. Riding their sword lights, they quickly arrived at their cave, still reeling from their short journey to the titan's abode. Hence, everyone decided to take a personal moment to ruminate on the acquired information.

Without saying much, Ju Feng went to his room and sat in contemplation. The atrament. The Tartar-Atra. The ultimate cores. The titan king. The void. Only one thing he could make out of all those. He had to become stronger, or else, he would simply die. No, if he could help it, he would always choose to live. Reincarnation could forever wait.

From the day onward, he would train extremely hard. How could he protect himself if he was too weak? He remembered how desperately, but mightily, his grandparents defended him when the demons attacked them. How his mother sent streams of infernal claws that eventually helped against the demons. How Chu Shang Wu also used the Terran bane. And then, the mighty titan lord with so much power.

He must become stronger. There was no way around it.

He stood up, removed his robe, folded it to one side in his room and headed towards the training area. He started practicing the True-World bodyweight technique, and the Shifting-Heavens hand technique at the same time. Although they were lower grade techniques, they were quite efficient.

Ju Feng practiced nonstop. No Chi was used, just the techniques. When he was feeling tired, he would sit in the lotus position and switched to the Serene-World technique. Then after some time again, he would continue his training. While in the evening, he would indulge himself in cultivation with the astral primal technique.

At this stage, his dantian was already larger than his average. His meridians were also greatly enlarged, allowing his Chi to flow freely. Still, he continued to cultivate nonstop while the time flew by. Although it was only six months when he started on this particular routine, his strength had increased substantially. But it was his dantian that almost doubled in size while his Chi's quantity had massively increased.

It was at that moment in time they received the expected visit from titan lord Luyang.
