GOD OF ALL SYSTEMS

Chapter 192: [Bonus chapter]Sentencing! Expressing feelings!

The scene within the library went extremely quiet; almost all the cultivators expressed disbelieving faces as they witnessed the purple-robed cultivator returning to existence. All the scattered and exploded pieces of the cultivator slowly began reattaching themselves, and not long after, the cultivator's body was completely reformed as it was previously.

Shock, disbelief, confusion, and, most of all, absolute despair; are words one can use to describe the cultivator's current state of mind and emotional turmoil. He stood in the center of the crowd with bulged eyes and a trembling body as he frantically stared at fairy Marine. His mind went completely blank, rendering him motionless and unreactive.

Even though the scene was quiet, everyone could sense the overwhelming tension permeating the massive hall; but suddenly, fairy Marine spoke, breaking the silence with her soothing fairy voice.

"With your act of terrorism against Athos, its citizens, and guests, and for the violation of order 00012, you are sentenced to twelve million god cycles of endless undying deaths. You shall die endlessly, with each death a trillion times more painful than the last. Now, off you go."

Simultaneously finishing her words, fairy Marine waved her hands as three skull-faced shadows emerged from the void behind the cultivator; the skull-faced shadows had long scythes that radiated with endless chaotic energy.

Etched on each of the shadows' scythes were the words 'Soul,' 'Body,' and 'Sentience.' The presence of the three shadows caused every cultivator to tremble with dread; even some Athosians weren't an exception, as the three skull-faced shadows were like the representations of death.

Simultaneously, the three shadows immediately swung their deathly scythes into the cultivator's body, causing him to scream in pain heart-wrenchingly; some female cultivators couldn't stand the gruesome scene, causing them to faint almost instantly.

The cultivator continuously screeched in unbearable pain, his voice echoing through the massive hall as the three shadows mercilessly plunged their scythes into his brain, heart, and lower belly. Without a hint of mercy, the shadows pulled the cultivator as they all vanished into the void. All it took was five seconds.

Silence, complete and utter silence, roamed the hall as one could even hear a fly's leg steps. Every cultivator in the hall only stared at one person, fairy Marine. Some didn't even dare exhale, thinking their loud breaths might offend this dreadful god fairy of Athos.

Respect, admiration, and fear swirled the hearts and minds of the surrounding cultivators as they stared at fairy Marine; if they had only feared the overwhelming power of Athos, now they feared this god fairy even more.

But most and worst of all, their fear of the One Above transcended every known fear in their existence; if this god fairy could cause such a miraculous yet dreadful scene with mere words and hand movements, only heavens know how disgustingly powerful the One Above, who this fairy serves, might be. One can't even begin to imagine.

The cultivators were lost in their thoughts when fairy Marine interrupted, bringing them back to consciousness.

"I believe most of you were in the middle of your erudition when you got interrupted; I apologize for any discomfort. As compensation, his Godship has allowed me to gift fellow guests to take ten books each; as long as you can benefit from them, they are yours to take. Once again, I apologize on behalf of Athos. Please continue your discoveries. Athos is yours to explore."

Fairy Marine spoke while simultaneously leaving the scene; the cultivators and Athosians knelt as they saluted the god fairy their appreciation.

With fairy Marine gone, the scene instantly became lively as the cultivators hurriedly rushed to take the books of their choosing; some even bracketed on the same book, but the instant the cultivator took the book from the high shelf, the same book materialized again, it's as if the book was never taken.

"Athos is truly a realm of miracles; even their library is magical. With such a trick, we all can read the same book without worrying about losing on a heaven-grade cultivation technique.

"I only wish I was a citizen of Athos!"

While almost every cultivator rushed to obtain cultivation manuals, the Head Manager's sister remained at her spot, still frozen in thought and disbelief. As if contemplating something, she mumbled.

"She... she said god cycles, not immortal cycles. According to our top-secret information about the cycle differences, one God Cycle should be at least ninety million Immortal Cycles or more; isn't that the same as an infinite punishment?

But only beings from the God Realm and above can casually measure time in God Cycles, just like how we Immortals measure time in Immortal Cycles; sigh~ Why I'm even overthinking this, her name literally states who she is; a god fairy!"

In the massive administrative hall on the Athos Tree, fairy Marine sat on her tree-made throne with shut eyes when suddenly, Jun Moxie and his daughter, Jun Mulan, materialized not far from her throne stand. Opening her eyes and seeing the father and daughter duo, fairy Marine smiled charmingly as she spoke.

"Is the celebration perhaps not to your amusement, citizen Jun Moxie?"

Hearin fairy Marine's words, Jun Moxie hurriedly placed a hand on his chest as he replied with a chuckle.

"Hah ha, the god fairy must be joking; with such resources, I couldn't ask for anything more..."

"I'm sensing a but, citizen Jun, please feel free to voice your thoughts. Do you perhaps want your own territory as a family?"

"... I... it seems the god fairy knows the best for her citizens. I hope my request isn't too much of a burden to the god fairy."

"Not at all; you have served his Godship satisfyingly... you may choose any branch city and live by your rules and traditions if you so wish, but know that you are still citizens of Athos and are subjected to all Orders and punishments."

"Of course, god fairy; we thank the god fairy for her benevolence. With your permission, we take our leave."

Fairy Marine nodded while maintaining her smile; she watched as Jun Moxie exited the scene, leaving Jun Mulan behind. Seeing Jun Mulan remaining behind, fairy Marine smiled as she rose from her seat; she steadily approached Jun Mulan as she began speaking.

"The heart is the most fragile thing in any living organism, especially when it starts beating or desiring for something or someone; it causes one to lose all sense of rationality and reasoning, even worse, makes one blind to the obvious. But once conquered, well... that's something only those who have conquered their hearts can answer.

Tell me, little one, are you ready to face your heart?"

Fairy Marine asked as she stood behind Jun Mulan; Jun Mulan had a face full of thoughts as she breathed heavily, her chest going up and down as she thought of fairy Marine's question. Closing her eyes and taking one big inhale, she opened her eyes as she spoke, her face filled with resolve and resolution.

"Yes, I'm ready."

Seeing this, fairy Marine warmly smiled as she spoke.

"Good, sometimes courage is needed to face the unknown."

Fairy Marine spoke as she closed her eyes. She then glitched, opening her eyes after and speaking to Jun Mulan.

"He's awaiting you."

"Thank you, god fairy."

'~'

Fairy Marine smiled at Jun Mulan as she vanished from the hall, leaving fairy Marine behind.

____

Up the floating residence, Jun Mulan appeared in the garden; she wore a long traditional red dress with her hair pinned up; her red crystal eyes shone in the radiating light produced by the numerous plants and flowers.

The moment she took a step forward, the plants changed colors as they matched her dress, she expressed amusingly as she continued walking in the garden; the flowers opened a path for her as if leading her somewhere.

Not long after following the direction of the plants, Jun Mulan arrived at a pond; the pond had glowing blue water with shining sapphire rocks surrounding it. The marvelous sight of the pond left Jun Mulan amazed as she bent down and began playing with it, but suddenly, a voice came from behind her.

"You seem amazed; you like it?"

Hearing the voice, Jun Mulan paused, her face flushed red as she hurriedly stood up. With a confused and flushed face, Jun Mulan didn't know whether to bow, kneel, or prostrate, but before she could do neither, Patrick's voice sounded again.

"You need not bow, Miss Jun."

"... As his Godship wishes. And please, call me Mulan."

Jun Mulan replied as she held her dress like a lady of her culture. She shyly glanced at Patrick as she saw him; Patrick wore a black nightgown with golden stripes and black night slippers. His hair was wet and was in a bun style with a strand hanging on his forehead. Standing not far from Jun Mulan, Patrick's handsomeness was mesmerizing; she couldn't help but blush uncontrollably.

"Does lady Mulan perhaps have a special occasion today, seeing as you are wearing quite the enchanting attire? It looks pretty on you, by the way, matching your red crystal eyes."

Blush~ "I thank the One Above for his compliments. This was a dress gifted to me by my mother; she said I would grow into it, well... seems like she was right."

"Then today must be a special day seeing that you are wearing it."

"... Yes, it is. ... Do you remember the first time we met? I mean, during the event of the Infinite Treasures Mountain?"

"Yes, and you looked completely different compared to now."

Blush~ "... Yes. ... You know, I have been meaning to say this for a while now; yes, I know you already have three... three other women by your side, and I might be overstepping my bounds here, but I think I'm in love with you, your Godship."
