Chapter 316: Recognized
Unlike the Dragon's Veil Elixir, this potion offered incredible benefits.

"Temporary Flight! Shane will be ecstatic once he sees this…" Anna couldn't help but feel elated as she saw the effect.
The potion provided enhanced strength that far surpasses the effects of the previous elixir. It also provides Regenerative Healing, which accelerates the body's natural healing processes. Furthermore, it has Magical Resistance that provides a shield against harmful spells and curses.
Finally, the temporary flight. Although it was only 30 seconds, it was still one of the best effects that she had made from all the elixirs she concocted.
Anna felt a surge of pride as she placed the Dragon's Heart Elixir on the shelf, knowing that it would be a valuable asset for Shane and the others when they returned. She had pushed the boundaries of her alchemical knowledge and created something truly extraordinary!
'Well, if Shane's willing to pay the fee, it should also be fine to send this item through private trading.' Anna mused as she recalled that the Foreign Survivors had such a method to transfer items, but there was a steep price they needed to pay.
After feeling satisfied with the creation of the Dragon's Heart Elixir, Anna decided to rest.
She took a moment to have a break since she still had two drops of Dragon Blood with her.
"Mhmm?"
Suddenly, she noticed that the sky outside darkened. She wanted to see if it was about to rain, but she saw something different instead.
Instead of a storm, it was the familiar Mysterious Gray Fog that began to envelop the manor.
This event, though alarming to newcomers, was well-known to the residents of Springriver Manor. It was Shane's Territory Lord's talent at work, recruiting talented individuals every five days.
Even in Shane's absence, his power continued to affect his territory.
"It's starting again… I hope we don't get another drunkard." Anna muttered after recalling the professor who had arrived before Shane left.
There were two others who appeared after Shane started his adventure, and these two were incredibly helpful in creating the second layer of the palisade.
Right now, the Springriver Manor has an outer wall and inner wall after their expansion.
The inner wall was made of wood and steel, while the outer wall was made of stones, wood, and steel together, making it sturdier even without a barrier.
Because of that, the watchtowers also improved, and they were now made of stones as well. Nonetheless, the Elves were still avoiding the task of being a sentinel in the watchtowers.
They still prefer working in the forest, protecting the river from the Spitter Zombies, who always liked to take a bath.
Anyway, Anna decided to go out and see the new recruit.
She noticed that aside from her, the others also started taking a break to see which department would this new recruit be placed.
'We already have a lot of blacksmiths… You even have a whole family with you. Why are you still so excited?' Anna wryly smiled as she saw Leo going out as well as if he was ready to employ the new recruit to his smithy.
She also noticed Lucas in the watchtower using a binocular to identify the one who was about to be sent out by the Mysterious Gray Fog.
As soon as she reached the rampart of the inner wall, she noticed Mr. Wadsworth and two Super Soldiers waiting at the entrance of the outer gate.
'He's fast…' She commented in her mind
Soon, the new recruit arrived.
As the fog cleared, a figure emerged, riding an armored white horse!
"What?" Anna exclaimed as she realized that this person was a combatant.
Then, she saw the knight mounted, and he had long red hair flowing behind him. This red hair was contrasting sharply with the gleaming silver of his armor.
Anna couldn't help but recall Shinja. This man definitely had an aura similar to that of a heroic figure!
After getting closer to Mr. Wadsworth and the Super Soldiers, this man dismounted and removed his helmet.
His helmet, tucked under his arm, revealed a chiseled face with sharp features and piercing green eyes that seemed to take in everything at once.
However, Anna was more impressed with his white horse, which was fully armored.
"Impressive…"
Of course, it wasn't only Anna who found the new guy to be interesting.
As they entered the inner wall, Alexa, the chef, stepped out of the kitchen because of the commotion. She did it while wiping her hands on her apron.
"Who's that?" she asked, her eyes widening at the sight of the knight.
"That's the new recruit. He's definitely a knight. He might even know about Lady Seraph and the others." Max commented after hearing the chef's question. He was on his way to request a portion of food when Alexa came out.

In the meantime, as soon as Alaric was driven out by the Gray Fog, he found himself being inspected by dozens of powerful figures inside the territory in front of him.
He was barely able to feel their presence because he had just gotten out of the Gray Fog, which was still essentially protecting him from harm.
As soon as the fog disappeared, however, he could only sense the three figures in front of him that were appraising him.
'I guess I'm lucky, huh… I'm actually recruited by a powerful figure.' Alaric mused as he realized that this shelter had several figures stronger than him.
That was definitely better than being the strongest in the shelter!
However, he was soon frozen at the figure that was standing on top of the huge manor…
"Monk Chaloem?!"
