74  Chapter 74: Noah Discovers a Secret!

After sitting there with Xin Yan and Elysia for a while Noah took his leave and walked to the place near the lake. He started walking at the shore of the lake. He found the serene reflection of the stars and moon flashing in the lake calming and soothing. The tranquility in the water seemed to be resounding with his soul. *Crunch!*

*Rustle*

A loud noise of leaves being crushed under someone's feet brought Noah from his reverie, he sharply turned to look in that direction.

The moment of distraction made him unable to notice that someone got inside his sense range.

A couple of meters away he could sense an aura sneaking around and he decided to follow that aura.

Using the concealment seal he silently appeared a little far away from the aura and saw a frail looking man sneakily walking towards a camp. He did not immediately follow the man because he sensed something amiss.

Noah was in shock as he connected the dots and after hearing the words realization dawned on him and he watched the man walk away with a weird look on his face.

'Didn't Elysia say that no one was affected because of the water.'

He felt a little pity and turned to walk away but then he heard something causing him to halt.

"It is all that bitch Xin Yan's fault. If not for her, would I have to do these shameful acts?! Pitu!" Those words echoed in Noah mind as he remembered what Elysia said,

'Hmm~ don't worry no INNOCENT was harmed before the effects of your creation wore off…'

He sharply turned and followed the man inside the area where they had set up a temporary camp. He could easily sense all the aura present in the area. The strongest was the guy he was following with his strength of peak Qi Condensation Realm…

They had some suspicion about his activities. First they watched their leader walk out of the camp to look for food even though they had so much meat of the beast they had killed around in the camp. Soon after he left the weird guy who was acting suspicious after they had to commit those unsightly acts left after him with the excuse of bathing around the nearby lake.

Now he came back with a hurting back and a perverted expression on his face just before their leader came. Even though they did not want to think about it, their actions from that day made them suspicious of them.

Yet what can they do about it? He was their leader and also a stronger Cultivator than them..

 Noah watched from far away as the leader took his seat around the barbeque and picked up roasted meat to eat. "Boss, You didn't find any beast outside?" Suddenly a man spoke and the rest looked at the man like he had grown several heads on his neck. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

They all thought in unison while the leader looked at the man coldly.

"There were no beasts nearby. I will look for them in the morning, it's dangerous now."

Noah was getting impatient because he had to stay there without them speaking anything useful or giving away information that they needed. But he didn't have to wait for long as a man suddenly spoke up with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Boss, how long do we have to search for that mother-son pair…? What if they had already left the forest..?"

The rest of the people in the group also expressed their dissatisfaction that they had to suffer so much just to catch these two people.

The leader of the group was getting a little annoyed with their questions but when he saw that everyone was dissatisfied with this mission. He knew that he had to speak up.

They thought of all kinds of torture they would use on him to make him experience the same things they had felt.

Noah who was hiding in the corner suddenly felt a chill running down his spine and he clenched his butt.

He cursed and vowed to kill them all tonight mercilessly. How dare they eye him like a piece of meat.

"As for if they have left the forest or not? The leader is waiting for them on the other side with the rest of the people. Even if they leave, the forest leader will intercept them and send us a signal through the communication talisman."

Hearing those words the rest of the bandits nodded in understanding. They had long known about the talisman the leaders have. But they were still curious about something.

"Leader who gave us the information about their leaving? Was it the Long family? I heard they hate both the mother and her son."

Hearing his subordinates words, The man snorted and released a little of his pressure.

"Don't ask what you shouldn't!" Seeing them tremble in fear he scoffed and continued, "Although I am telling you this because this is no secret but you should know your limit and stay away from secrets."
