Chapter 281: Energy Pill

281 Energy Pill

The Southern Kingdom might have gotten information that could make them busy for a while. But it was the same as the Zhou Kingdom.

After getting the news about their loss. The king was angry. They had spent so much on this campaign, but it was a failure. They might be able to make Martial Masters and Martial Grandmasters easily with the blood pills. But they had lost around three hundred Martial Lords in this campaign.

It was a big loss, and he was sure that the Southern Kingdom would try to investigate them with their sudden rise of power. He then tightened the security in the area to buy time as long as possible. After all, their grand plan was in the Continent Grand Tournament.

He would use this time to enhance their power once more and attacked another kingdom. He couldn't attack the Southern Kingdom again since they must have prepared for their high number of Martial Lords.

...

Not only them, in Nilis Continent, the main preparator also received information. But it was not about the Zhou Kingdom.

The king looked at the report and frowned, "A person that could trigger a golden lightning in his Martial Grandmaster tribulation? The sky then brightened in golden color after he finished his tribulation?"

This was a piece of important information for them. There was no such a case in their history. This would shake the entire mainland if they knew about this. He clenched his fist.

His advisor then replied, "Yes, Your Majesty. It seems this person is a disciple from Heavenly Sword Sect. What should we do, Your Majesty? Should we recruit him, or should we kill him?"

"..." He contemplated a bit. "I heard the Zhou Kingdom had started their invasion?"

"Yes, you are right, Your Majesty."

"Send two Martial Kings as well as fifty high-level Martial Lords to Willow Continent. We will try to invite him first. Should he not accept our good intention, kill him.

"Ask the Zhou Kingdom to have one of their Martial King and Martial Lords to help. We can just kill all of their elders and Sect Master. It should be enough to ruin their sect, and the rest of the disciples would need a long time to become strong enough.

"Even if they managed to get attention from a Martial King or Martial Emperor, they would be shadowed by this person who got a golden lightning in his tribulation.

"At that time, we had conquered the entire continent. We can maintain our status as a hidden backing of the Zhou Kingdom. As long as the Zhou Kingdom didn't give our information, they shouldn't know that we come from another continent.

"It will also help the process of the war since the other kingdoms might get scared as one of the top sects in that continent is ruined by the Zhou Kingdom. Then our progress will go smoothly after that.

"If we incite suspicion from the Northern Continent, we can just blame the Zhou Kingdom for that. Then we can safely retreat. Even the people from the Northern Continent won't come here.

"After all, they might incite anger from the Sacred Continent if it became like that. There will be a continental war. This is what they and we don't want to see."

"Your Majesty is wise."

...

A month later,

Alex managed to breakthrough to 7-Star Martial Grandmaster. As soon as he breakthrough, he immediately practiced his Array Mastery.

What he practiced first was, of course, the rank 4 Illusion Array. Even though he wanted his revenge, he wasn't blinded by it as the problem was not enough for him to be blinded.

Alex chose the rank 4 Illusion Array since it was the foundation of his Array Mastery as it was the key to make a rank 4 Illusion Array, called Pollen Illusion Array. He then practiced rank 4 Simulation Room.

But he found something off when he practiced this. After getting Zwaka's inheritance for Space Element's Mastery, Alex seemed to have another foundation in making his Simulation Room.

Previously, he could only replicate medicinal ingredients or some kind of environment. But with the addition of Space Mastery, he could make a little detail like temperature or condition in his environment.

Although it might not be much, it was useful. Surprisingly, his Space Element could affect all of his Arrays. It was good news for him since he was planning for his revenge, to trap the Kasmanan Family inside and let them choke because of the lack of oxygen.

Alex would need to practice a rank 4 barrier type Array. He chose to practice an array called Jadeite Mirror Array. The array had a beautiful barrier like jade. Although it looked beautiful, the defensive ability was ridiculously high, especially when he knew that he could infuse his Space Element inside this array.

The Space Element became a cushion for someone who attacked this array. His Space Element absorbed a portion of the attack before the attack reached the real array.

Surprisingly, when he practiced his array with his Space Element. He finally understood the meaning of the Space Plate. After practicing for a week, he was able to have a good foundation on this Space Plate.

He found another use of Space Plate, which complimented his power as an Array Master. He wanted to immerse himself in that, but he chose not to. He had used around a month to master these four Arrays as the fourth array he practiced was Teleportation Array. It had been bugging his mind after he understood Space Element.

Because of the time, he could only make a one-kilometer teleportation array. He was not comparable to Zwaka, who can build two hundred kilometers teleportation array, and he did it with his soul, not his mortal body.

Alex had a few arrays that he wanted to master. They were rank 4 Gathering Array, and rank 4 binding array called Servant of Silk and Steel... It was a long name.

But he only had another month before going back. So, he stopped his practice on the array and then started practicing his Alchemy Skill. He didn't have a high goal for this. He thought low rank 4 Alchemist was enough for him.

After all, he was only in his early twenties. It was already ridiculous to have such a high rank.

Alex only mastered two pills in these two weeks. The first pill was called Ocean Mind, a low 4th rank pill. He chose to learn it since its effect was to increase one's mental energy.

And the second pill was a high 3rd rank pill, Energy Pill. He practiced this as it might become his main source of income. He surely didn't need it at the moment since he had more than thirty million in his pocket, but he might need it in the future.

He remembered that the requirement he had for his current Alchemist Rank, which was High Rank 2 Alchemist. He needed to make a mid 2nd Rank pill and one high 2nd Rank Pill.

So, if he wanted to take a test for low rank 4 Alchemist, then he would need to make a high 3rd Rank pill and one low 4th Rank Pill. He would make this Energy Pill and Ocean Mind Pill.

"Anna, where are you?"

"Alex, have you finished your practice?"

"No, I just want to start my alchemy training. I am going to practice Energy Pill first. I have all of the ingredients from Zwaka's place, except the monster core. I think I will make an Energy Pill with a 10-Star Grandmaster Stage monster core. Could you get me one?"

"Alright. Jeanne and I will try to hunt a peak Grandmaster stage monster."

"Thank you."

Not long after, Anna came back with a fresh 10-Star Grandmaster Stage monster core. The core had a translucent green color.

"This is a 10-Star Grandmaster Stage wind leopard. I will also bring a few other Monster Cores like this. After all, making an Energy Pill, you need to fight the monster's will first. Each monster will have a different will, so it will be best to practice as many as possible." Anna explained.

Alex nodded his head. He just wanted to say that, but Anna had beaten him on that. As expected of Anna, what a thoughtful woman. "Thank you."

"Then, I'm going again. I will put the monster core beside you."

"Yeah. I will just have two monster cores every day. I will tell you later if I need more. Since only a fresh monster core can make an Energy Pill."

"I know," Anna assured him. She then left, "I'm going."

"Be careful."

After seeing Anna's disappeared, Alex then grabbed the monster core. He could feel the energy of the monster core was still abundant, and there was a rejection from the monster core.

The rejection came from the monster's will. It will disappear in a day, so Alex immediately went to his Simulation Room. He put eight Medicinal Ingredients on his Simulation Room Array before activating it.

He finally came back to this alternate world of his. He made an exact copy of his room inside this Simulation Room. After all, he usually made pills inside his room. So, it made him comfortable in using his usual environment.

Alex refined the medicinal ingredients one by one. After all, he never refined Energy Pill, so he didn't know what challenge he could get in refining these ingredients.

The first ingredient was a Mantis Log. It was a green-colored wooden log. Alex tossed the ingredients inside his furnace and immediately rose his flame.

Unlike his usual refinement, he used his fire to scorch this wooden long. Before long, the Mantis Log became a charcoal. This was Alex's true goal. The charcoal made from Mantis Log had a special trait that could mellow the will inside a monster core.

He stored the charcoal inside his flame before tossing the second ingredients. The ingredient was a Metilous Flower. It was a beautiful white flower. Alex plucked all five petals from the flower and refined it with his fire.

After purging the impurities inside it, he stored it in his flame before going to the third ingredient, Chalcedony Herb. It was a yellow circular herb. Because it only grew around a bluish gem called Chalcedony. It was named Chalcedony Herb.

Alex refined each ingredient without stopping. From the fourth ingredient Stag Horn to the seventh ingredient red elm leaf. He hadn't met any difficulties for those seven ingredients.

According to the book he had, the difficulties in making Energy Pill lay in Monster Core. This was the last ingredient he had to refine. Alex didn't immediately toss the monster core inside his furnace. Instead, he already used his flame before throwing it inside his furnace.

As soon as the monster core got inside the furnace, Alex suddenly saw a silhouette of a leopard. Alex was startled to see that as it was the first time he saw a shadow appear from a Monster Core.

It was the shadow of the 10-Star Grandmaster Stage Wind Leopard. The shadow suddenly attacked him with its claw. Although it didn't have a physical body anymore, when the claw reached Alex's hand, he felt so hurt.

His energy was disrupted. Alex gritted his teeth while enduring the pain. He tried to grab the shadow with his hand, but the shadow dodged it. The shadow continuously distracted him.

Alex finally realized that this was the difficulty in making Energy Pill. He needed to fight while refining the pill, and he needed to fight with a peak Grandmaster Stage beast at that.

Refining the pill alone took a high concentration from him. And to fight in this state, he can only try his best. Alex couldn't use his sword or spear to fight this monster. He could only use his fire.

Sadly, if the beast was in this form, his Pure Fire didn't have any effect on them. In other words, Alex couldn't suppress them with his fire. He would need to fight them seriously.

Flame suddenly gushed out from his hand before covering his hand.

"Fire Phoenix Art, Second Stage. Phoenix Claw."

Alex decided to use his powerful Fire Phoenix Art. But to focus on one thing, he would let go of the other stuff. He suddenly realized that he f*cked up. He neglected the other ingredients, and that made them unstable. The energy turned to chaos and exploded.

"Not Good!" Alex sweatdropped.

"Boom!"
