Chapter 1175 - Pairs
Meanwhile, on the actual battlefield, the God Rank Experts had begun their fight. Obviously, Alex's side had an overwhelming advantage with their number.
Watching their side getting slaughtered one by one, the Earth God furrowed his eyebrows, saying, "I'm going first."
As he said those words, the Earth God disappeared, arriving above the battlefield. He clapped his hand and stretched it forward, creating multiple asteroids.
"Meteor Falls." The Earth God launched all those rocks to obliterate the enemies with an overwhelming number since this was the best option for them.
According to the plan, the God of Wrath appeared between the battlefield and the asteroids with his purple-colored flame that seemed to be the personification of his wrath. He spread the flame and turned them into a roof for the people below them, catching all those rocks and melting them down with that anger of his.
"I'm your opponent, Earth God." The God of Wrath narrowed his eyes and jumped toward him, sending a punch toward his face.
The Earth God raised both hands as he turned into a black-colored bear with both paws covered in stones.
Bam.
The loud noise resounded on the battlefield as the God of Wrath hit the rock that acted as a gauntlet, but he gritted his teeth, remembering how his people, the Goddess of Destiny and her people were massacred by him. He channeled all that anger into the power behind his fist and blew him away.
He also followed the Earth God while saying, "Your opponent is me."
Not feeling right when the Earth God was at a disadvantage, the Blood God prepared to help him, but as soon as he jumped upward, Alaya appeared out of nowhere.
"Life and Death Coffin."
A huge coffin appeared above her before her eyes shone white and black. On her right hand and right foot, black-colored energy covered them while releasing a huge amount of Death Energy as if telling people that once it touched them, it would invite them to hell. On the contrary, her left hand and left foot filled with Life Energy that could turn the Life Energy that her other hand absorbed into power.
"Activate."
The coffin then began to emit a black aura before a bright white light shone above it. The white light turned into a watch while the black aura transformed into its arrow, showing a certain time. Just like the fight against the Bear, it showed a certain number.
14,000
"Fourteen thousand huh." Alaya narrowed his eyes. "I guess, I need to get serious with this fight. Well, I have regained my full strength, so it's fine."
"Life and Death Goddess!" The Blood God gritted his teeth as he found that Alaya's white claw grasped his wrist and twisted it. "Not good."
Just like the Earth God, Alaya threw this guy to another place, so they could fight alone. She believed this was the best strategy since they couldn't afford to have the people die on the battlefield because of an attack they dodged.
"Just like him, I will be your opponent. I hope that you don't disappoint me, Blood God."
She said it like that, but she already made the first move, especially when they looked at the projected number.
13,900
"Tch. Both of them left. We need to—" When the Vampire Goddess was about to finish her words, five magic circles appeared above them.
"Five Great Stars Magic."
Five star-shaped lights emerged from the magic circles and flew toward all the God Kings.
"Tch. Annoying." The Vampire Goddess clicked her tongue and summoned five giant bats that flew toward the lights and swallowed them, absorbing their energy. Unfortunately for her, these lights seemed to be different as they shone even brighter when they reached the bats' stomachs, exploding them and brightening the dark outer space.
The Vampire Goddess raised her hands because it was too bright for her eyes. But this also meant her vision became limited. It was when the God of Destruction took advantage of that blinding light to reach the Vampire Goddess, ready to throw his fist.
"!!!" The Vampire Goddess widened her eyes. "Not good."
She used both hands to stop that fist, but the momentum and Raiju's power pushed her hand back until it touched her cheek. It didn't stop there. The punch continued until he broke her jaw, misconfiguring her face and blowing her away as if there was no gender in his eyes and action.
"Don't punch a girl's face, God of Destruction…" The Magic Goddess, Rubia, made a weird smile when he saw that crude man's action. "I wonder if that's the correct thing… I mean, the blinding light."
"It's good enough. Anyway, we need to get going too." Lin Xingzhi shrugged and disappeared from the battlefield.
As if feeling her presence, the Evil God turned around and narrowed his eyes. "It seems Nature Goddess is my enemy. Well, I have fought against her father, so I will handle her."
He seemed to go for a peaceful approach while summoning his bat wings. After making sure everything was alright, he left the battlefield, following Lin Xingzhi. He could also make sure that none of them would bother the Supreme Beast.
This left the Demon God to be the last one among the original beasts and stared at the Magic Goddess, who seemed to be his opponent in this fight.
Suddenly, he found a small crystal appeared above them and exploded, bursting Ice Element.
The Demon God raised his hand and protected them with his black-colored energy before a golden staff appeared, creating a heart symbol on top of the staff's head and hitting the Demon God.
"Justice Blow."
The Magic Goddess used her own staff to hit the Demon God like a baseball before following him. As one would expect from someone who liked the attention, the Magic Goddess didn't forget to wink to others while saying, "I'm going to defeat the bad guy."
They all became annoyed as their faces were twisted. They really wanted to say, "Just go, Old Hag!" but chose to be a bit mature and ignored her like how the Spirit God always did.
Because the original beasts had gone, there were only the Water God, the Wolf, the Panther and the Battle God to hold the fort. Anna then went into action by raising her hand, commanding the people that Eulja brought.
"All God Beasts are to kill the rest while making sure they truly died. Check their parasites too!"
The Ten God Beasts nodded their heads together and said, "Please leave it to us."
"Six Elemental Gods are to protect the entire battlefield to avoid anyone from interfering. Treat all the people that enter this battlefield for whatever reason as our enemies. Tell the other God Kings so they can make an adjustment to the plan if there's any."
"Sure, thing. Ah, my lovely daughter has grown up…" Rilt wiped the tears on his eyes.
"…" Anna paused for a moment, calming her heart down from the embarrassment. She then continued, "After the Five Guardians return to the battlefield, have them help the Six Elemental Gods. As for Song Tao and the others, please kill all those guys with the God Beasts."
After giving the rest their commands, Anna looked at the remaining beasts, saying, "Let's kill them."
"That's what I've been waiting for." Jeanne smirked and released dark red lightning from her body before turning into one herself. "True Spirit Body. Blood Ethereal Lightning Form."
Agnis pouted and made a fuss. "I also want something like that. Come on, I want to be a God King too."
Jeanne stuck her tongue out and went straight toward the Dragon Pet's, the Water God. She crossed her short swords and released a powerful Lightning Shock Wave. "I'm coming for your life!"
The Water God furrowed his eyebrows and used his water to form a barrier that surprisingly wouldn't transmit the lightning.
"Hmm… I see. In that case, I will let her do it then." Jeanne smirked and looked behind him.
"!!!" The Water God widened his eyes and felt a sharp tool coming for his neck.
"Surely, I know that you can't wait anymore, Jeanne." Anna let out a long sigh, only to find her scythe missed the target. She didn't stop there and released her Butterfly Wing with many black patterns covering her body. "True Spirit Body. Dark Butterfly Spirit."
"Espa." Torrential black energy suddenly released powerful energy that knocked him far below the battlefield.
Jeanne and Anna then chased the Water God they blew away.
"They are going to separate u—" The Battle God wanted to warn the rest, but the Palm God already appeared in front of him, sending his palm that seemed to be covered with white light.
The Battle God widened his eyes and blocked it like when they previously fought, only to be surprised by the power contained in that one palm. Just like the others, the Palm God blew him far away while summoning one thousand hands on his back.
He didn't forget to furrow his eyebrows and say, "I don't need your help, Holy God."
"Hoho, this old man wants to win." The Holy God chuckled as he was the culprit why the Palm God had that white light covering his palm that gave him a boost in his power.
"Haiz, you all can't wait for me even though I'm also confident with my strength." The God of Strength sighed before his shirt burst out, revealing his perfect muscles. However, there were many patterns on his body, like a tattoo, but they emitted a powerful aura.
It seemed to be inactive for now, but the God of Strength was powerful enough to be the strongest in terms of strength in this Universe. He came toward the Panther and clashed with its paw. The Panther obviously lost that fight and got blown away.
Seeing the God of Strength had actually sent him away, the God of Greed could only shake his head helplessly while following them. "Seriously, why are there so many muscle brains in this Universe… Well, not that I'm complaining since they are mostly cheap when I hire them. Anyway, time to kill them and gain more money."
Since all of them had a battlefield, this center battlefield became the last one. As expected, Leoz felt a bit unsatisfied but decided not to show it on his face. Instead, he released all the lightning as well as his horns.
"True Spirit Body, Thunder Berserker Form." Leoz looked at the Lycan and pointed his finger. "You're fine. Stay there and let me kill you painlessly."
The Song Goddess's zither suddenly resounded on the battlefield as it sent a shock wave that was sharp enough to cut an asteroid.
The Lycan furrowed his eyebrows and snapped it with his claw as his attention split into Song Goddess and Leoz.
"Please don't forget about me, Big Brother Leoz. You've been taking care of me since when we're in the orphanage…" She smiled.
"Rinrin… Your childhood name sucks." Leoz snorted and charged toward the enemy.
The Song Goddess pouted. "Master gave it, so I loved it!"
