Chapter 30- Outing

After having lunch, I decided to stroll around the place a bit.

There was nothing fun in the room and even Dad told me to go outside if I wanted. But, well, of course, he told me to keep my phone and GPS on. Parental control could be triggered just in case so I need to be attentive toward any call.

The primary reason I left my room was to search for a gift shop nearby and buy something good for Akisu.

Cloudy weather blended with gentle wind provided perfect weather for a small venture.

Dad suggested taking an umbrella along, but well.

Following the direction provided by the lady, I found the market real soon. Since the resort was famous around the place, there were several street vendors nearby to provide the guests with the best of the souvenirs. 

They probably pay taxes to the resort to arrange this mini-festival-like vibe with stalls on either end of the street and a peaceful vibe for the tourists to enjoy.

My gaze traveled to the several stores, and truth be told, I was simply amazed.

I don't go out more, both because I am an introvert and also because my parents didn't have much time. 

However, after getting the wishes from the Godesses, I am seeing this new part of my life. The part that I always avoided because of my insecurities. Now I was able to look around confidently while talking to people without stuttering.

'Indeed, a new start.'

The first place where my feet came to a halt was an accessory shop.

"Hmm...studs, rings, chokers..." I could create different kinds of dresses but not accessories or sex toys so I was a little intrigued. 

In the end, I bought a simple black thumb ring before paying for it, and leaving the shop.

"Thanks for the purchase!"

There were some food and sweet stalls as well, which made me wonder whether the residents living nearby complained. Well, not like I was going to live here so I decided to just enjoy the afternoon with a hotdog.

While munching on the savory sauce-coated meat, my eyes landed on a familiar duo, currently enjoying their date while purchasing photo frames from a nearby shop.

I smirked before finishing my food and making my way toward the duo.

"Hey, Aoi, Souta," I called out to them. The male turned in surprise, while the female only jolted in shock.

I liked that reaction.

"Hey, buddy. Are you also shopping for souvenirs? " Souta gave me a radiant smile which urged me to find out something I had been curious about since last night.

"Ahaha...well, you can say it like that." I didn't know that Aoi still holds me in such high regard that the realization of me getting together with someone would make her eyes narrow and her demeanor shift in this manner.

I liked how this was proceeding.

While I was at it, I decided to check Aoi's status as well...only to find my lips further stretching in a grin.
