Florida Man in Magus World: Unleashing Liberty and Freedom

Chapter 149: Florida Man Solves World Hunger by Distributing Narcotic Dragon Meat

Nobody was particularly fond of the wriggling parasites. Clover, sensing the newborn creature's hostile nature, wasted no time. She crushed it effortlessly with one of her thick roots, its life snuffed out in an instant. Following her lead, the others swiftly destroyed the remaining eggs, ensuring not a single one was left to hatch.

Once the threat of the parasites had been dealt with, a collective sigh of relief spread through the group. With that nuisance behind them, Felix was eager to move on to more pressing matters. He cleared his throat and addressed the crowd, ready to offer a solution to their earlier concerns.

"I have a way to store raw food materials," Felix began, glancing at the beastmen. "So you don't have to worry about the meat spoiling. I can provide more food if needed. However…"

A sly grin crept onto his face as he glanced northward, where the purple forest harbored dangerous creatures. "For every monster you kill, I'll give you 10 kilograms of dragon meat. How does that sound? Fair?"

Huchu's ears perked up, and his eyes widened in disbelief. He nodded enthusiastically, practically bouncing on his toes. "Very fair! Is that really the deal? Our work condition?"

"Yeah, if you're okay with it," Felix replied nonchalantly.

"DEAL!" Huchu exclaimed, his voice full of excitement.

Felix grinned, pleased with himself. The arrangement was perfect. Not only had he solved the food shortage issue, but he had also managed to tame the beastmen with a steady supply of dragon meat. Even if the lustful lamias stirred up trouble later, Felix was confident the beastmen wouldn't be tempted to join any rebellion. After all, with a deal like this, they were already firmly on his side.

Felix had essentially bought their loyalty—10 kilos at a time.

Felix knew that to truly solidify his control over the island, he needed to bring Clover fully to his side. As he turned to her, he noticed her gaze fixed on the juicy red dragon meat, drool escaping her lips. Despite being part plant, some of the meat would serve her well as organic fertilizer. She had a certain hunger that Felix could use to his advantage.

Once Felix and Huchu wrapped up their deal, Clover chimed in with a tone of curiosity, "Sir, by chance, do you keep their blood and innards in your... sub-storage magic?"

Felix raised an eyebrow. The fact that Clover knew about his "odd spell" or system inventory was surprising. But it was also convenient—it meant negotiations would be quicker. He checked the system inventory, confirming that the blood and innards were neatly stored in separate slots.

"I still have them," Felix said, his lips curling into a grin. "Interested in striking a similar deal?"

Clover's eyes gleamed with interest, and her smile widened. She rubbed her hands together, her excitement clear. In a strangely seductive move, she started acting coy, fidgeting and swaying her hips. Unfortunately for her, Felix's attention was elsewhere, as her lower body, concealed by a large flower, didn't leave much to admire.

"What would you like me to do, sir? I could tame the remaining trents for you, as long as they haven't been mutated yet." she asked with a playful tone. "Or rather, would you like me to… service you?"

"Not the service." Felix rolled his eyes and pulled out a raw spirit potato from his inventory.

He had a vision. Despite Terris and the hobgoblins growing spirit potatoes for him, it was never enough to satisfy his ever-growing cravings—especially when it came to brewing alcohol or securing a steady food supply for the future. The solution? Grow them himself, but he needed help, and Clover, being a plant monster, might be perfect for the job.

"Can you grow these?" he asked, holding up the glowing potato.

Clover stared at the spirit potato for a moment, her expression shifting to a wry smile. She looked as if she were choosing her words carefully, perhaps weighing whether it was wise to admit to her limitations.

"You know, sir," she began, "I can certainly help cultivate plants. But spirit potatoes... they're a little special. It won't be easy, but with enough care and magic, I can give it a try." She paused and leaned in slightly. "Of course, for a steady supply of dragon innards and blood, I might just work a bit harder."

Felix chuckled. "So, you're negotiating again, huh?"

Clover's smile widened, a glint of playful ambition in her eyes. "It's only fair, don't you think?"

He couldn't help but admire her shrewdness. With the right motivation, Clover could be instrumental in expanding his agricultural ambitions, and he knew the deal would benefit him in the long run. In the end, he extended his hand. Your journey continues on m-vle-mpyr

"Alright, deal. You help me grow spirit potatoes, and I'll supply you with all the dragon blood and innards you can use."

Clover's hand—or rather, a vine—wrapped around his in a firm shake, sealing their agreement. Felix could already envision a field of spirit potatoes thriving under Clover's guidance, bringing him one step closer to his goals of securing both resources and control over the island.

With Huchu and Clover now on board, Felix felt like he was building the foundation of something great. Every deal brought him closer to transforming his floating island into a thriving, self-sustaining paradise…assuming Clover didn't suddenly make things weird by extending a playful little vine into his pants.

Which she did.

"As an extra service," Clover teased, her voice dripping with mischief, "would you like to test my abilities?"

Before Felix could respond, Jiji acted fast. She yanked the vine out of his pants with swift precision, pulling Felix away protectively. Her slit eyes narrowed as she hissed at Clover, her voice sharp.

"Back off, plant. He's not into it!"

Clover chuckled, entirely unfazed by Jiji's aggression. Turning her attention back to Felix, she peeled away her petal bikini top, revealing her ample bosom. With a flirtatious wink, she added, "Visit me if you change your mind."

Felix's eyes widened instinctively, and for a brief second, his brain short-circuited, neurons firing off signals he'd rather not process right now. But he quickly shook it off, clearing his throat and gripping Jiji's slim waist to ground himself. He vented his sexual frustration by giving her an affectionate squeeze.

"No, thanks," Felix managed to say, though his voice might've cracked a little. "You… you go ahead and build your village. I'll give you more spirit potatoes to plant later. As for now, why don't you handle the excess meat over there?"

"Aw." Clover pouted, visibly disappointed by the rejection. But after a moment, she straightened up and turned her frustration onto the other lamias. "You heard him, girls! Start working! Let's get these cuts of meat over to the lake."

The lamias chuckled at Clover's dramatic shift in tone but obediently went to work. Some began chopping the massive chunks of red dragon meat into smaller, manageable pieces. Those who had come carrying scavenged junk eagerly dropped their items and picked up the meat instead, ready for the migration.

Others, with tools and construction boxes, gathered their belongings, preparing for the move to their new settlement.

With that, the negotiation concluded, and the migration officially began. The lamias, armed with their dragon meat and newfound responsibilities, slowly made their way toward the lake. Felix, meanwhile, stood back and watched them go, feeling a mixture of relief and satisfaction. Another hurdle cleared, another alliance forged.

Still, he couldn't shake the memory of Clover's bold flirtation. Shaking his head, Felix muttered to himself, "This island's turning into one weird soap opera…"

Jiji wrapped her arms around him from behind, her warm embrace comforting. "Don't worry," she whispered, her breath tickling his ear. "I'll keep you safe from all the... distractions."

Felix smirked and patted her arm, grateful to have Jiji by his side. There was never a dull moment on this island, that was for sure.

But first, the previous temptation spiked his hormone. He silently dragged Jiji back to the house.

.

A Week Later

With the arrival of a love rival, Jiji had grown more clingy and passionate, unwilling to leave Felix alone for even a moment. Felix didn't mind in the least.

He relished the affection and enjoyed the way she wrapped herself around him like a living blanket. Taking a short break from the madness of managing the island and farming his lifespan, Felix spent half of his free time cuddling with his snake wife, basking in the peace of their shared moments.

Unfortunately, good times never last forever.

After a week, the inevitable happened: the lamias and beastmen ran out of food. Clover, ever diligent, visited Felix to remind him of his promise.

The tribe needed those juicy cuts of dragon meat, and she was particularly eager to claim the dragon blood. It wasn't long before all the new settlers gathered outside Felix's house, but they couldn't approach him directly due to the protective barrier surrounding the property.

Clover had no choice but to shout, calling him out from behind the invisible wall. "SIR! WE WISH TO EXCHANGE OUR GOODS FOR FOOD. COULD YOU COME OUT?"

Meanwhile, Felix and Jiji were in the hotspring pool on the rooftop, tangled up in one of their many cozy embraces. The warm water and serene atmosphere had lulled them into a state of deep relaxation, so when Clover's voice interrupted the moment, Felix felt his irritation spike.

With a grumble, he disentangled himself from Jiji, climbed out of the pool, and slipped on a bathrobe.

"I swear, these people and their timing..." he muttered, shaking the water from his hair. Without any hesitation, he jumped straight down from the rooftop, landing casually on the ground below, completely unharmed.

Jiji, watching from above, was surprised but impressed by Felix's graceful leap. A faint smile crept onto her face as she admired the fruits of his physical transformation and secluded training.

After drying herself off, she slipped on her blindfold and something to cover her body, then slithered gracefully down the building to meet their guests.

This would be their first formal transaction since the lamias and beastmen had migrated to the island.
