Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 99: Arok's request for help

It's no surprise that these people hold Lein in such high esteem, as life on the World Market Trade Alliance island is incredibly comfortable. The cost of living is very low if you want to live a simple life.

The government on the World Market Trade Alliance island doesn't rely on revenue or taxes from the people. All of the island's wealth comes solely from Lein. The high-level items used, such as large flying ships, the 50-meter black tower, high-level nest forces, and the advanced materials used in city construction—all come from Lein's gold chests and various other sources, all provided by Lein.

If the island relied solely on revenue from lower-level rulers, it would be impossible for Lein's island to be as advanced and powerful as it is now.

It wasn't long after passing through the Teleportation Hub's main gate that Lein saw a black flying car waiting for him by the roadside. Next to the car stood a man in a black suit, a white badge on his chest, standing still, waiting for Lein's arrival. As soon as he saw Lein approaching, the man gently opened the car door.

"Sir, please."

"Thank you."

Lein smiled warmly at the man in the black suit and then entered the car. The interior design was luxurious, with various advanced technologies. From inside, Lein could see almost 360 degrees of the surrounding area, everything outside was clearly visible.

Inside the car, Lein sat comfortably and then opened his touchscreen phone. He ignored all the red notification icons at the top of the screen, instead opening the chat app to try to contact Nita.

Lein: "Nita, where are you right now?"

Not long after, a reply came in. However, instead of a message, it was a photo. The photo showed two girls taking a selfie with cute faces, one with an oval face and short hair, and the other with long hair and beautiful eyes.

Of course, Lein recognized them. Besides his sister Nita, the other person in the photo was Laras, one of the members of the World Market Trade Alliance. Shortly after sending the picture, a text message appeared.

Nita: "I'm at Sister Laras's house, Brother Lein. Come join us for dinner."

Lein: "Alright, I'll be there in 30 minutes."

Nita: "Okay, Brother, Sister Laras wants to meet you."

Nita: "No, Master Lein, Nita was just joking."

Nita: "Sister Laras asked for chicken noodle soup, Brother..."

Lein looked at the stream of messages coming in from Nita and could guess what was happening.

"These two women..." Lein sighed.

He suddenly thought of Laras and their first meeting. He wasn't particularly close to or familiar with Laras; he only knew that she was very strong with her light magic. Beyond that, Lein didn't know much.

"Well… It's good to get to know the core members of the alliance more deeply," Lein murmured.

...

While Lein was enjoying the view of the city outside the car, a big fight was happening in a white room filled with teddy bears.

"Nita... give it back, stop sending nonsense messages!" Laras was currently hugging Nita and trying to grab the phone from her hands.

"No, it's my phone," Nita said with a slight laugh in her voice.

"Sister Laras, be my sister!"

"Is my brother not attractive?"

Nita asked while laughing, trying to tease Laras. For some reason, she felt that she had a personality that matched well with Laras. She liked Laras's active, elegant, and caring nature. She wanted her brother Lein to get closer to Laras.

"What are you saying? Stop joking around," Laras was still trying with all her might to grab the phone from Nita's hands. Even though her face was slightly red, she occasionally imagined that young man.

"What am I thinking?" Laras said to herself, shaking her head.

***

In a ten-story building with the Garuda emblem at the center of the floor, a meeting was currently being held on the top floor by several people dressed in formal attire.

The meeting was led by an elderly man with a long beard. He had a sturdy build for someone of his age, and his sharp eyes observed the ten other people in the room.

"Everyone, what do you think of the proposal from Mr. Arok of the Indonesian Alliance?"

"He is asking for assistance from the Garuda Hunter Guild to help with the internal conflict currently happening in the Indonesian Alliance."

The elderly man's voice was soft but echoed throughout the room, making sure everyone heard him clearly.

"I've already sent a few people before. The Blood Race attacking the Indonesian Alliance is very strong; only Tier-2 individuals like us can provide some assistance," said a middle-aged man on the left side of the table.

The Garuda Hunter Alliance was one of the top hunter guilds on the World Market Trade Alliance Island. The Hunter Alliance was independent and had its own organization where rulers without high abilities could attempt to explore other realms.

Despite this, the strength of the hunters in the alliance on a particular island was formidable, not much different from the leaders of the large island alliances.

"Is there any news from the island's owner or Princess Nita?" asked a middle-aged woman with an icy aura.

"There has been no movement from Princess Nita or the island's owner. The island owner hasn't returned for several days."

"I heard that Mr. Gusti and Miss Hana have gone off-island to search for traces of Wiko Suryo."

The discussion continued among the high-ranking members of the Garuda Hunter Alliance. The focus of their discussion was whether they were capable of facing the Blood Race, and whether the island owner would allow them to intervene in the internal affairs of another alliance.

A similar situation was occurring not only in the Garuda Hunter Alliance but also among the leaders of other hunter alliances, and even in some hunter alliances on other islands. The request for assistance from Mr. Arok had reached the higher-ups of various hunter alliances. To do so, of course, Mr. Arok spent a lot of funds.
