Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 302: Komodo Island

Large stones encircling its edges glowed faintly, signifying the presence of protective magic. Above it, a group of individuals stood tall, each exuding a powerful aura that made the air feel heavy.

At the very front of the line, a man wearing a crown of swan feathers stood with sharp and authoritative eyes. His posture radiated leadership, silencing everyone before him. With a firm voice, he began giving instructions.

"This exploration will focus on taming late-stage tier-3 monsters," he declared. His voice echoed, conveying that this was no ordinary expedition.

He paused briefly, allowing the members to absorb his commands, then continued, "Next, to my right is Young Master William. He will assist us in this exploration." With a wave of his hand, he introduced the young man to the team.

William, with pride, stepped forward. His smile brimmed with confidence as his arrogant gaze swept across the crowd. "You all have nothing to fear. I'll help you with my strength," he said, his tone carrying a hint of conceit.

A sense of satisfaction filled his heart as he observed their reactions. This was the moment he craved—to be feared and respected. Even the leader with the swan-feather crown beside him, whose strength was a level higher, showed no sign of underestimating him.

To assert his status, William raised his hand, and with a simple gesture, his stellar magic activated. Tiny starlights swirled around his palm, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

"Amazing! Young Master William is so powerful!" the members cheered, enthusiastically praising him. None dared to question his abilities, especially considering who his master was.

As they discussed, a small island emerged from the distant horizon. Its size was modest, but the atmosphere around it felt vibrant, reflecting an ecosystem thriving atop it.

William observed the island with a serious expression. His eyes glinted coldly as he read the holographic notification before him.

[Black-Clawed Komodo Island]

- Estimated Population: 2 million

- Danger Level:

- Resource Level: C

"Two million monsters?" William muttered to himself, slightly surprised. This was his first time participating in a major expedition since becoming Master Gerald's personal disciple. Over the past few days, he had been treated exceptionally well, almost like royalty in this world.

Yet, a name he despised suddenly surfaced in his mind. "Lein…" he whispered, barely audible. Old memories of Lein—the leader he once followed in the Celestial Sky Realm—haunted his thoughts.

Back then, he had been forced to submit to Lein to survive, but now, things were different. He had a mentor, Master Gerald, a Beast Master at the Primal Ascendant level.

*Note: Primal Ascendant = King stage in system power

The leader with the swan feather crown shouted loudly, breaking the silence. "Everyone, prepare! Summon your beasts!"

The command spurred the entire team into action. They raised their hands high, and from each hand, glowing holograms appeared. Symbols of beasts spun, radiating magical energy before finally settling on a specific creature.

In an instant, their summoned beasts materialized from thin air. A massive monkey roared ferociously, marking its presence. A lion cloaked in flames walked confidently, its blazing mane resembling a fiery crown. And there were more—ferocious land beasts, flying creatures, and strange, indescribable entities. The sheer variety left William slightly astonished.

The team consisted of more than a hundred people, but not all of them were Beast Masters. Around 40% of the members wielded other powers. One of them, a Faithwarden, quickly activated a Light Halo.

The aura it produced multiplied their power, causing everyone around to feel its immense pressure. Meanwhile, a Star Beast transformed into a majestic eagle with shimmering silver wings, ready to soar into the skies.

Amidst the commotion, an old man with a seemingly modest cultivation stood silently. His gaze was calm, but there was a sharp perceptiveness behind his eyes. He appeared to be analyzing the situation carefully, like a general planning a war strategy.

Not wanting to be outdone, William made his move. He took out a flying disc from his spatial ring.

"Come out," he commanded coldly.

The disc hovered beneath his feet, emitting a golden glow. With an elegant motion, he stepped onto it and stood tall, like a king surveying his domain.

The leader with the swan feather crown looked at William with a neutral expression. However, in his heart, he murmured, "This child…" It wasn't easy for him to admit, but William's presence radiated an aura that couldn't be underestimated.

The speed of the two islands was incredible. Black-Clawed Komodo Island, despite its efforts to evade, couldn't resist the momentum of the island carrying William and his team. It pressed forward relentlessly, like a predator closing in on its prey.

As the island's operator, the man with the swan feather crown issued a firm command to increase the island's speed. Tremendous energy radiated from the island's core, creating magical ripples in the air as the acceleration formation activated. Within minutes, the distance separating William's island and Black-Clawed Komodo Island vanished, and the two islands finally met.

"Attack!" shouted the man with the swan crown, his voice echoing across every corner of the island.

With swift movements, he summoned his white swan. The creature appeared from a swirl of energy, its wings spread wide, the luminous feathers reflecting sunlight. In a flash, the man leaped onto the swan's back and soared high into the sky above Komodo Island.

The rest of the team didn't lag behind. Their spirits burned bright, evident in their haste to mount their respective beasts. Giant monkeys, flaming lions, and even airborne beasts like thunderbirds joined the charge into the skies. Others used energy-based transportation devices, swiftly crossing the distance between the two islands.

"Charge!" one of the team members shouted, followed by a chorus of war cries. The sky above Komodo Island became crowded with the figures of Beast Masters and their ferocious companions.

From afar, the two islands seemed small, mere dots in the vast sea of the heavens. Yet for those on board, the gap between them felt like an endless chasm—spanning tens of thousands of kilometers. These islands resembled colossal warships slowly but steadily heading toward a monumental collision.
