Chapter 119: Walk around the Academy
The students, currently standing in neat lines, engaged in lively discussions. They felt a slight pressure after receiving instructions from the teachers to gather and prepare to welcome the island's leader.
Inside the academy, preparations were in full swing. The grand and towering main academy building stood firmly, exuding an aura of greatness and power. The training rooms and expansive open grounds were ready for the students to use for practice and honing their skills.
Here, the students were not only trained physically but also equipped with knowledge and strategies to help them grow and reach their full potential.
The academy's teachers, who had reached level 20, stood calmly but with heightened alertness. They were highly trained and experienced individuals, ready to provide guidance and direction to the students. They understood the significance of Lein's visit and had prepared various events and special training sessions to showcase the students' best abilities.
"Mr. Yusuf, how many more minutes? Why hasn't the Island Owner arrived yet?"
Among the line of teachers, one of them asked the academy leader, Mr. Yusuf. Not much different from the students, some of the teachers were also a bit nervous at the moment, knowing that the academy where they taught would soon be visited by the number one person on the island.
Not long after, a black car slowly drove past the road in front of the academy walls. Yes, it was Lein's car.
From inside the car, Lein observed the rows of academy students welcoming him with various flags, and from their faces, they looked very enthusiastic.
Most of the students were around 17 years old, an age typically associated with high school students. However, due to the changing circumstances, the academy also taught general subjects, though not extensively. The academy focused more on training students to fight and survive in the vast universe.
"We've arrived, sir," the driver in the front seat said. He then got out of the car and opened the back door, allowing Lein to step out.
"Ah... Mr. Lein."
"Welcome, Mr. Lein."
"Mr. Lein, welcome to Sacred Star Academy."
...
Cheers from the students could be heard everywhere. Lein responded with a warm smile and waved his hand to all the students, from those at the far end of the wall to those closest to him.
"Thank you."
"Thank you."
Lein kept expressing his sincere gratitude, seeing the enthusiasm of the students. He then turned his gaze toward the gate and saw that the path was also lined with students standing neatly in their white uniforms.
Lein then walked along the main road, occasionally waving to the academy students on either side of the path.
It didn't take long before Lein finally reached the end of the road and saw the Sacred Star Academy teachers. The person in the center was the first to step forward and greet Lein, followed by the other teachers behind him.
"Island Owner, Mr. Lein, welcome," said an elderly man with a long beard, greeting Lein with a slight bow. The old man then continued.
"I am Yusuf, the leader of Sacred Star Academy," the elderly man said in a warm voice.
Yes, the elderly man was the academy leader, Mr. Yusuf.
"Hello, Mr. Yusuf, nice to meet you," Lein said, shaking Mr. Yusuf's hand and greeting him with a warm smile.
After shaking hands with Mr. Yusuf, the other teachers also stepped forward and introduced themselves.
"Mr. Lein, I am Dian, head of the academy's maintenance department," said a middle-aged woman with shoulder-length short hair.
Lein politely shook the hand of the middle-aged woman. "Nice to meet you, Teacher Dian," Lein replied with a warm smile.
Another teacher approached and said, "Mr. Lein, I am Chai Lu, head of the academy's defense department."
The speaker was a middle-aged man with narrow eyes, seemingly of Chinese descent.
"Nice to meet you, Teacher Chai," Lein replied, shaking Teacher Chai Lu's hand.
One by one, the other teachers introduced themselves and shook hands with Lein directly. Lein welcomed them all gladly and gave them the opportunity to come forward and introduce themselves.
After three minutes of polite handshakes and greetings, Mr. Yusuf, who had been standing calmly since the beginning, finally spoke. "Mr. Lein, please come inside. I will give you a tour," he said with a commanding voice.
Lein followed Mr. Yusuf along with several other teachers, entering the inner part of Sacred Star Academy. The academy was truly magnificent, with buildings standing solidly in various corners.
In the distance, tall defense towers loomed, ready to protect the academy from any threats. The large training buildings, where students honed their skills, were bustling with constant activity. On the other side, the dormitory building, where the students resided, stood gracefully with elegant architecture.
Mr. Yusuf first led Lein to the dormitory building. "This is where the students rest and recharge their energy after a day of training," he said while opening the main door of the building.
Inside the room, Lein saw rows of tidy rooms, each equipped with excellent facilities.
"Each room meets high standards, including air conditioning, soft beds, televisions, and other amenities to ensure the comfort of our students," Mr. Yusuf explained.
Lein nodded, impressed by the academy's attention to the well-being of its students.
After that, Mr. Yusuf took Lein to several defense towers scattered around the academy area.
"We have several highly advanced defense towers," Mr. Yusuf said, pointing to a lightning tower that stood 17 meters tall.
"This tower can generate a powerful lightning bolt to protect the academy."
In addition, they also saw an automatic archery tower equipped with fire arrows and a mortar cannon with tremendous firepower. Lein was amazed by the level of protection the academy had.
Even though Nita provided some initial funding to help develop things like flying heads, building materials, etc., the results still exceeded his expectations.
The tour continued to the learning room, where Lein was shown a large holographic whiteboard that could display information interactively and dynamically. Next to it was a simulation room, a place where students could practice various skills in simulated situations as if they were real.
