First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 629: No Peace After All?

Indrani was becoming anxious.

Every second that it took for the tree to grant her wish was another painful thud of her heartbeat in her chest.

How long does it take to deliver one steaming hot dark and sexy eldritch dragon to her doorstep butt naked and ready to serve?!

She could have ordered a pizza all the way from earth and it would have taken less time!

"My wife..?"

'Curses..!'

Indrani's blood ran cold as she slowly turned around to face a man she knew all too well.

Her husband had arrived with upwards of a thousand armed guards. They wielded golden scimitar's and bows that were already drawn and ready to strike at any would be trespasser.

Indra looked confused to see his wife standing right next to the tree in her shady attire.

The implications were certainly jarring.

"You… What have you done, Shachi?"

With her real name called for the first time in hundreds of years, the goddess knew full well that she was in deep trouble.

"I-"

Suddenly, a loud ripping sound disrupted the tranquil quiet of the garden.

Everyone looked towards the source of this disturbance in unison and looked to the sky in horror.

There, deep symmetrical gashes were being carved into the tree right before their very eyes.

To Indra and Indrani, they almost looked like dragon claws, but… this size was impossibly large.

There were no dragons on record who were this damned big…

"Shachi! What have you done?!" Indra roared again.

Because of the mounting pressure on her shoulders, Indrani could no longer get by while remaining silent and simply blurted out the first thing that came to her mind.

"I…I used this wish-granting tree to ask for the death of the evil dragon..!"

"You what..?"

Indrani wasn't a fool.

She knew that the large new marking on the sacred tree meant her little wish for an Abaddon sized-sex toy hadn't been granted.

Though she knew not how that was possible…

The immediate problem with her wish not being granted was that she had most certainly put a target on her back.

If things had failed, Abaddon would quickly learn what she had tried to do.

And he was unlikely to be happy with her attempt at subjugating him.

The best thing that she could do now was cover the truth as best she was able so that they could hopefully bolster some defenses before Abaddon inevitably came to raze them all to the ground.

"I-I couldn't abide by the way that he threatened you on his last visit… I am aware that I myself lack the power so to preserve your dignity and my life… so I used the power of the tree. Though my efforts seemed to have incurred our ruin…"

Indrani wiped away a small tear from her face. only-found-at-MVLeMpYr

Her acting understandably softened up the Hindu king of gods.

"Indrani, my flower… You know we are not supposed to use the tree's power for evil acts."

"Yes…" Indrani lowered her head. "I am willing to submit myself to any punishment that you might see fit…"

For now atleast, Indra could not devote too much thought to the reason why his wife had done this.

For now, he had to focus on preservation.

It was his hope that since Abaddon was meeting with Shiva, he would be talked into a peaceful resolution by an equal force.

That had to be how things played out.

It just had to be.

Because Indra had no idea what would happen to the whole of Svarga if it did not.

- 2 Minutes Before the Wishing Comet Fell…

Before everything happened, Tehom was experiencing another pleasant and sunny day.

The streets were abuzz with people who were all chittering about the unknown aura they had all sensed coming from the atmosphere this morning.

It was the only thing that anyone wanted to talk about, all except for one person.

In a small coffee shop along the outskirts of the city, the entire building was almost completely empty.

The only people inside were the elderly couple who owned the shop, and the most unlikely duo one would ever see.

One was a mature woman who looked to be in her late thirties.

She had dark green hair that fell long past her waist in a sort of messy and unkempt style that was uniquely cute to her.

She was a full- figured woman with a plump, yet noticeably curvy physique that you might see in a dirty doujin late at night.

Even though she was only a simple nature spirit, she had a sort of plain and unassuming nature about her that was different from her outwardly sexy sisters.

Behind her glasses, her bright purple eyes twinkled with visible excitement as she darted them across the pages in front of her.

Every so often her face would turn bright red and she would shuffle in her seat, and other times a runaway tear would trickle down her face.

She hadn't said a word in over 45 minutes now, and she still didn't seem like she was going to open her mouth anytime soon.

"Oh my..."

Never mind.

Sitting across from her was a young woman who looked to be just on the cusp of her twenties.

The older she made herself look, the more closely she resembled her mother Seras, though without the musculature.

In front of her were an iced coffee and the wrappers from the army of muffins she had devastated while waiting for Daphne to finish reading.

"Would you like another, princess?" The old woman from behind the counter came and smiled warmly at Gabbrielle just as she always did.

Gabbrielle looked down at her own stomach and saw that it was still just as flat as always.

"I believe I should stop there. Lest my parents start calling me their little booter belly again."

"Fufufu, alright then."

"I'm sorry I asked you to delay the shop opening for me again, Ms. Edna."

"Think nothing of it, dear. I'm just glad that you didn't come here and set alone in the corner for hours on end again. You've finally brought a little friend with you." she winked.

The blood drained from Gabbrielle's cheeks. "This is not that kind of interaction. I am simply fulfilling a favor on behalf of my father. Besides, I-"

"Yes, I know you don't have an interest in that sort of thing, princess. But everyone needs a friend of some sort in life. Even you."

Gabbrielle wondered if maybe this was her father's indirect way of trying to break her out of her shell.

Out of all of her sisters, she was still the most introverted.

Thea was a social butterfly who charmed hearts and underwear whenever she went.

Thrudd was bubbly too, once she finally got to know new people.

Mira had lots of friends among the other Euphrates.

Nubia was a true socialite- and was even juggling two different relationships while keeping them a secret.

And the twins were practically joined at the hip whenever they snuck out of the house to go to clubs late at night.

This left just her and Courtney as the only loners in the group.

And her younger sister was excusable because she was still five.

Gabbrielle looked back at Daphne with a more scrutinizing gaze.

Almost as if she was sizing her up in some sort of job interview.

As she thought about their potential friendship, the hairs on the back of her neck suddenly began to stand up on their own.

The shop owner seemed to sense something amiss too, as she quickly looked out the door.

Even though they were far away, they could still see a cluster of energy falling out of the sky while heading directly for the floating castle.

It had been centuries since she'd last seen this kind of thing, but there was absolutely no mistaking it.

'That accursed tree..!'

Gabbrielle leapt from her seat and started running towards the front door.

"Ms. Edna, please tell Daphne I'll be back in just a moment!"

"O-Okay, princess. Take your time!"

Once she was outside, her crystalline white wings sprouted from her back and she shot off into the sky.

Inside the shop, Ms. Edna finally looked back at Daphne to see her reaction to this.

Her nose was still buried in the manuscript on the table, and she didn't even look to have noticed a single thing out of place since she'd started reading.

'The princess certainly picked an odd one, didn't she...?'

-

Gabbrielle arrived in her grandmother's garden just as her mothers ripped the magical wishing star out of the sky.

As soon as her foot landed on the grass, she immediately wished that she had've just stayed inside the coffee shop.

"Mothers, Father, you..." *Sigh*

The first thing that Gabbrielle noticed, as well as the thing that everyone in the garden seemed to be staring at, was the extremely noticeable erction threatening to rip out of Abaddon's pants.

Abaddon himself had no clue anyone was even staring at him, as his heart-shaped eyes were firmly locked onto his wives.

"...Let me borrow this." Gabbrielle plucked a glass from the hand of a salivating goddess.

She hurled it at her father's head and he finally stopped daydreaming long enough to catch it between his fingers.

"Hm? Peach, what are you doing he-"

"Father, please fix yourself..." Gabbrielle replied as she stared at the ground.

Abaddon finally noticed the miniature Eiffel Tower he was carrying around and a brief embarrassment set in.

The girls finally returned to normal when the glow surrounding them dissipated.

Each of them seemed to be functioning like they were almost on autopilot before, so they understandably needed a second to get their bearings.

"What was that...?"

"I don't know why seeing it just made me so... angry."

"I still feel pissed..!"

Lailah was the only one among them who didn't look nearly as confused.

The gears in her brain began to turn continuously- pulling from a whole host of outside sources.

Though she had never witnessed this particular phenomena before, being a goddess of knowledge helped her to place it's origin in no time.

And she was less than pleased with what she discerned.

She turned to Shiva almost immediately- her perfect full lips already beginning to split as enormous needle-like fangs poked out of her gums.

A forked tongue snaked past her lips as the grass underneath her feet withered and died.

"Tell me, Shiva. Are we not here to facilitate peace..? Why then is your pantheon's world tree being used to target my husband?"
