Face-Slapping System

Chapter 128 Shopping Spree

Roland heaved a sigh of relief knowing that he now has a bodyguard which was a level stronger than him.

His safety should now be guaranteed with this battle guard alone, but Roland knew for himself that only his own strength matters, and that borrowed strength, was still a borrowed strength in the end, no matter how strong it was.

Anyways, the battle guards introduced themselves one after the other.

Their name was actually quite simple and was even rather crude. They have numbers as their name, with the strongest one holding the name, One.

Two and Three were the peak level two battle guards, while the remaining seven were named according to their height as their comprehensive strength was more or less the same.

Although all of them doesn't have the same physique, Roland knew that they were as strong as the other battle guards on the same level.

Roland observed them for a bit and noticed that they don't like to talk. The only time Roland heard of their voice was when they introduced themselves. Now, they would only either nod or shake their heads.

Roland doesn't know if they were real human or not, however, from his observation, they seemed to be no different than humans, aside from the fact that they showed no emotion on their face.

Roland also liked it this way anyways so he happily accepted this side of them.

Right now, they were at the mall buying the ten battle guards some change of clothes.

They were only wearing ordinary and plain clothes earlier, and they don't look like body guards at all.

After an hour, they emerged from the mall with new looks.

Each of them wearing a black and white fitted suit, coupled with black sunglasses, they look like bodyguards now for real.

Roland nodded his head in satisfaction after seeing their new looks.

Even Stacey also nodded her head at the side. She recalled the body guards that would usually accompany her to school before. They look exactly like the ten of them.

"Where did you find them anyways? Can they truly be trusted?" Stacey could not help but ask as she recalled what happened yesterday.

Roland nodded his head, "From that person. As for their loyalty, you can say that they are extremely loyal to me and would even be willing to sacrifice their life for me, if needed."

Stacey nodded her head, multiple scenarios ran across her mind yet again.

Knowing that she should not ask more than necessary, Stacey did not pose any more questions. She has full trust in Roland, and if he said that they can be trusted, then they can be trusted no doubt.

Now that their basic clothing was settled, it was now time for them to buy a new car for them to ride.

Only two people could fit inside the Budi R8 Coupe, and with the addition of the ten of them, even if they wanted to, they would still not be able to fit inside, no matter what.

Anyways, they went to the nearest car dealer and bought two suv's for the ten of them to ride.

With Martin accompanying and vouching for them, no arrogant dealer dared to flaunt in front of them.

They bought the two available Royota Veloz, eached priced at 12,560 Global Dollars. They also chose the platinum metallic white and metallic black color, as if to pair with the battle guard's suits.

After bidding farewell to Martin, the three vars finally set off to return to Fore City again.

The battle guards have all of Roland's skills. Now, each of them has Level 1 Driving Skills, they managed to keep up with Roland's driving speed without any problem.

The metallic black Royota Veloz was in the front, the Budi R8 Coupe in the middle, and then the platinum metallic white at the back of the Coupe.

Along the way, Roland also noticed that the battle guards just did not sit idly inside the car. They were actually watching their surroundings vigilantly, as if afraid that an enemy might pounce on the next second.

Roland felt at ease knowing that they were around him.

And to even further improve their abilities, Roland even gritted his teeth to buy skills and knowledge that the guard's could use.

Level 1 Scouting Skill- 30 FS Points

Level 1 Reconnaissance Knowledge- 10 FS Points

Level 2 Reconnaissance Knowledge- 50 FS Points

Level 1 High Alert Skill- 10 FS Points

Level 1 Secret Communication Technique- 50 FS Points

Roland spent a total 150 FS Points in one go on this shopping spree, feeling a little pained at the loss of his 'hard-earned' FS Points.

He looked at his total balance and finally heaved a sigh of relief after seeing that it was still over 18,000. Or to be precise, his balance was now at 18,825. He was now only 1195 FS Points away from being able to buy two potions at once.

Roland gritted his teeth as the knowledge and the skill poured themselves on his brain.

He even purposely slowed down his driving speed, afraid that an accident might happen.

"Are you okay? You want to switch?" Stacey said worriedly after seeing his actions.

Roland thought for a moment and eventually nodded his head in agreement.

They immediately switched places and drove away without delay.

Roland focused on absorbing the knowledge and the skills as Stacey drove slowly for him.

It was only five minutes later that the slight discomfort on his head was finally alleviated.

Meanwhile, as he was absorbing the knowledges, the battle guards' also had their eyes lit-up, as they also learned the skills and knowledges that Roland bought.

Except for the seen level 1 guards that was not able to absorb the Level 2 Reconnaissance knowledge yet, nothing went wrong with their absorption, as they became as vigilant as Roland the moment they learned of all of the skills and the knowledge.

With that being said, the white Veloz at the back suddenly slowed down a little.

Stacey noticed the anomaly right away, she asked about the reason. Roland told her the truth, saying that someone was following them.
