Chapter 16: The Breasts, the Club, and the Student Council
“That’s all for today. Make sure to turn in your homework next week.”
The school bell rings as if they meant to end right on queue.
Iris: “Sir Igni! Let’s go to the school cafeteria!”
And as always, Iris will come over to Igni as soon as class is over.
Igni: “The school cafeteria… Now that I think about it, I haven’t gone there yet.”
Iris: “Yes! So let’s go together!”
Alicia: “That sounds good. I’ll go too.” Yoori: “Oh, then me too.”
And the four of us head to the cafeteria.
The Rolmod Wizard Academy’s food stands and cafeteria are nothing less than the most exquisite, 5 star menu items. As a Wizard school, you may assume that there is not a huge overhead cost to maintain, but this is more related to the school’s reputation and culture.
In other words, “Only the first-rate are born from first-rate.”
Of course, many students come from poorer backgrounds, and because of that, the food is offered at a practically free price.
And the reason why they haven’t gone to the cafeteria up until now is because of Igni.
Igni brings his own lunch.
And of course, this is lunch that Yoori made.
But they are students, and they wanted to do student-like activities.
So, all things considered, they all decided to go to the cafeteria.
Yoori: “Wow! Look, look Igni! Today is ‘Mandrake Soup’ and ‘Wyvern’s Breast Meat!’ Check it out! This is amazing! I never thought they would use something so expensive for a school meal!”
Yoori is super excited.
The other 3 do not know too much about the ingredients just look at each other.
Alicia: “....Sorry, is a Wyvern’s breast meat an expensive delicacy?”
It was Alicia who had broke the silence to ask the excited Yoori.
For Igni, when he didn’t have anything to eat in the Demon King’s realm, out of desperation, he chomped into a monster’s flesh and remembering the taste, he began to lose his appetite.
Yoori: “Wh-what are you talking about! Of course it’s an expensive delicacy! Do you know how hard it is to take a Wyvern down?!”
Wyverns are among its dragon kind, the most adept at flying. They are called the fastest species for that reason.
In order to fly in the air, they use magic so they are able to fly freely in the sky.
Igni: (Yeah, they were difficult to defeat.)
Igni vaguely recalls the trouble he had with them.
Alicia: “Oh, uh… I didn’t know. At home, we ate it regularly so…”
Yoori: “...Alicia, is your family well off?”
Alicia: “Um, yeah, we’re pretty...well off?”
Yoori: “But...but… Alicia, how could you! I thought we had more in common...!!”
Iris: “Didn’t you know that she didn’t live in the dorms? You should have guessed as much.”
Yoori seems pretty shocked, and Iris is comforting him.
So the four order the lunch of the day and sit down. There were a lot of people there, but it wasn’t crowded per say.
Alicia: “Hey, have you guys decided what you want to do for club activities?”
Igni: “Club activities?”
Igni tilts his head at Alicia’s question.
Alicia: “Yeah, don’t you remember all the pamphlets we got about joining a club?”
Igni: “Oy yeah…”
Igni remembered that something like that did happen. He did not even look at it after going home, so it’s all still stuffed inside his bag.
Alicia: “I’m actually interested in the Fortune Telling Club. Care to join me to take a look today?”
Igni: “Fortune telling? You had interest in fortune telling, Alicia?”
Alicia: “Of course! It’s [Ancient Magic]! Doesn’t that sound fun?!”
Yoori: “[Ancient Magic], huh? I’m interested too.“
Iris: “Is that the club where they will tell your love fortune as a club entrance experience? That sounds like fun! Sir Igni, why don’t you come with us!”
Igni: “Oh, me too?”
Well, it’s not like Igni had anything to do at the dorm, so tagging along to check out the club was fine. But there was one question nagging him.
“If I join the Fortune Telling Club, will that make me more popular?” This was his only concern.
Edward: “Oh, Igni, can I sit next to…”
Igni: “GRRRRRRR!!!”
Edward: “Okay! I’m sorry! I’ll sit somewhere else!”
Igni chases away Edward with a growl.
Elina: “Oh, it’s Igni. May I sit next to you?”
Igni: “Oh, Elina. Of course. Seat was open anyway.”
The Class C Miss No. 1 also eats at the cafeteria.
Elina: “What were you talking about just now?”
Igni: “About joining a club. Have you decided on a club?”
Elina: “Me? I’m… actually going to the Fortune Telling Club.”
Alicia: “Oh, I didn’t think our 1st Year Rep would be interested in fortune telling. Are you also interested in having your love fortune told?”
Elina: “O-of course not…. I already have the No. 1 partner. Yes... yes so I don’t have to do that. I’m just a tiny bit curious. That’s all.”
Igni: “.............”
Igni remains silent. No matter what comes out of his mouth, this section of the cafeteria might devolve into hellish chaos so he maintains his silence.
Elina: “Igni, is there a club you’re interested in?”
Igni: (Anything that would make me popular is fine…”)
This is all Igni is thinking about, but he answers after thinking seriously.
Igni: “A place… where I can sharpen my skills, I think.”
Igni could not suppress the smile after saying what he knew was cool.
Iris: “Th—that’s amazing! That’s just like you, Sir Igni!”
Elina: “That’s very stoic of you, Igni.”
Yoori: “Yeah, you impress me as always, Igni.”
Alicia: “...Do you guys seriously not see his ridiculous smile…?”
Alicia is catching on to Igni’s actual character and nature.
Igni: (How is that possible? My acting is flawless…)
It doesn’t look like Igni will be able to stop himself from breaking out a smile every time he does something remotely cool.
“If you want a place to place to sharpen your skills, come to the Student Council!”
Something lands on Igni’s head.
When he looks up, all he sees are giant breasts…
Igni: (Huh? What? Is this heaven?)
<<<<>>>>
[Grandpa! I, I really like women with big chests]
[Oye, Igni]
At Igni’s words, Lucas looks down coldly at his grandson.
[Wh--what grandpa? Are you gonna slap me again…?!]
[Why do you have to say something so obvious so loud!]
[B--but grandpa! Don’t you like big breas…]
[Of course I do! Who do you think I am!]
[Grandpa! I’ll follow you till I die!]
[Then come with me, Igni!]
<<<<>>>>
Igni: “..........!!”
This… this is what I dreamed of… this angle... this view from the bottom…!!
Such pressure…!! Such presence….!!
This...overwhelming power……..!!!!
What does it matter if you’re the “strongest”...!
What does it matter even if you’re the “Extreme”....!!
There’s no way… you could ever defeat… big breasts………..!!!
Iris: “Hey!! Get away from Sir Igni!! Who are you anyways!!”
And with Iris’ help, the big breasts were removed.
Igni: (I think I’m going to cry)
“What? You don’t know about me? I’m the No. 1 famous girl in school.”
Elina: “What? No. 1?”
That word got Elina’s attention.
“Yeah, of course! Because, I’m the Student Body President”
" " " "....Student Body President... " " " "
Multiple voices echoed and overlapped with one another.
Among the “Strength is Everything” school, only one person can stand above all others. Among the students, only the strongest can stand at the top.
“Yeah, I’ve been recruiting all the promising 1st Years. I’ve already asked Fray and Erumi, so that leaves “Hurricane” Alicia and the 1st Year Rep Elina! And I came to invite Igni who seems to be shrouded in a lot of mystery too!”
Igni: “....me too?”
“Yup.”
Igni thinks about this.
“Well, I know it’s hard to make a decision now. You don’t know much about the Student Council, right?”
Igni: “That’s true… What do you do in the Student Council?”
“We call ourselves the Student Council, but we mostly maintain the peace. Strength determines everything in this school, so when someone weird starts moving up to the top, the school turns into chaos. So if you want to join the Student Council, you have to absolutely be strong! So, how about it, you three?”
Alicia: “I’ll pass. I’m not interested.”
Alicia rejects the offer without a second thought.
Elina: “....me too. I still have to grow in many areas.”
“Oh, is that so? That’s too bad. How about you, Igni?”
Igni: “Hmmmm….”
Igni: (Does being in the Student Council make you popular? Wait, she said something about maintaining the peace, so maybe it’s not a popular place to be…?)
“If you join the Student Council, you’ll be flooded with benefits! You’ll be trusted by teachers! You’ll be excused from homework by certain classes! There’s a lot of strong people so you can become stronger! And best of all, if you’re a guy, you’ll be very popular with the girls!”
Igni: “.....!! W-wait. Could you repeat what you said after being excused from homework once more?”
“Yeah! You’ll become stronger and you’ll be popular with the girls!”
Igni: “Please sign me up!!”
“Great! Then let’s start by visiting our club~”
Igni already made his decision within his heart.
