Baek Ain embraced Luo Bingbing to comfort her. From the miserable look on her face and those dark circles under her eyes, he knew she had gone through terrible things when he was away. 

He sighed inside as Luo Bingbing had two weaknesses that were 'directly' tied to him. 

Her first weakness is her self-esteem. 

After being devoured by the Unfinished Samsara, Luo Bingbing's heart as an expert is damaged and makes her meek before Baek Ain. It is positive and negative because she could become as fierce as a lion before others but still has a soft side. 

Unfortunately, this soft side is always overpowering when triggered. 

She failed Baek Ain's task and felt overwhelming shame crush her heart even further. Her mental state is pushed to the edge, making her weaker than ever. 

Luo Bingbing needs Baek Ain's presence to be stable.

"That I don't know." Baek Ain replied casually. Since this entire universe was 'literally' created by the Goddess of Opportunity, he didn't dare to speculate on who was the strongest here.

Now that Baek Ain thought about it, he also felt wary about the Goddess of Opportunity. The latter is too mysterious, and he couldn't afford to joke with her existence. 

He wouldn't be this paranoid in the past, but now he had a lot of people on his side to protect. They are family to him. 

And the Goddess of Opportunity could take them away from him.

"Bingbing, this is Yun Yun." Baek Ain introduced Yun Yun. 

"And Yun Yun, this is Luo Bingbing." 

Yunyun and Luo Bingbing stared at each other silently before nodding their heads in understanding. 

'That's it? You two didn't say anything to each other?' Baek Ain was speechless.

Yafei giggled because this was interesting.

"Ain, what is our next move?" Still, She diverted the topic.

Baek Ain thanked Yafei for getting rid of the awkwardness. He glanced at the window and replied, "For now, the Hall of Souls must have lay low to gather their strength." 

"I've got intel that the Nihility Devouring Flame behind the Hun Clan and the Hall of Soul is planning something big." 

"Something that is strong enough to doom the Dou Qi Plane." 

"This..." Yunyun frowned because Cai Lin mentioned something along that line a few days ago. 

Even though their enemies are still the Hall of Souls and the Hun Clan, the mastermind is actually the Nihility Devouring Flame.

The 2nd Ranked Heavenly Flame has become a wicked demon that aimed for absolute destruction, leaving nothing behind. 

Luo Bingbing closed her eyes and commented, "Actually, they might not lay low as you believe..." 

"What do you mean?" Before Baek Ain could ask, Yunyun had already done so.

Luo Bingbing glanced at Baek Ain and sighed, "When we are ambushing the Hall of Souls and the Hun Clan in the Gu Sacred Mountain Range, I sensed an ominous aura of sacrifices from them." 

"Sacrifices!" Baek Ain realized something.

"The Hall of Souls had been gathering souls of strong experts and imprisoned them in their hideout."

"I always thought it was weird, but everything makes sense now." 

"Factly speaking, no one in the Hall of Souls or Hun Clan could defend themselves against Bingbing. No matter how much they tried, they couldn't overcome the difference in realm and energy's quality." 

"What you said makes sense." The ladies nodded in agreement. 

"But that doesn't tell anything about their agenda?" Yunyun frowned deeply. 

Baek Ain raised his finger and answered, "No, it is telling something." 

"They must have sacrificed those souls to increase their strength." 

"But such a method of increasing power is temporary." 

"They must have paid a huge price..." Luo Bingbing's eyes lit up. 

"With such a huge price, they are probably attacking other factions, preferably groups with strength weaker than them, but won't catch others' attention."

"Everything in the Dou Qi Continent is within our grasp." Yafei raised a point. "They can't escape our radar." 

"No, they can." Yunyun chimed in.

"Who said they couldn't attack factions outside the continent?"

"Ancient Void Dragon Tribe." Baek Ain connected the dots.

As his senses reached the islands one by one, his expression darkened.

"It's too late." Baek Ain said while closing his eyes. 

"The Ancient Void Dragon Tribe is… Destroyed."
