Chapter 6066: Fools
Chapter 6066: Fools
Enigma and Phantom most likely didn’t have a primal artifact. Perhaps Immortal Suppression did, but only a few at best.
Thus, Six-sense Pagoda was one of them and now it belonged to a mortal. Most importantly, he had such an easy time obtaining it, hence the crowd’s jealousy and envy.
“None of this makes sense, a crappy painting for an ancestral artifact. This is definitely unprecedented.” A jealous expert said.
“Reason doesn’t apply at the ghost markets.” An ancestor said.
Listeners didn’t see it from this point of view and agreed with the absurdity in this area. A worthless item in the mortal world could fetch a sky-high price in these markets.
“Still, this is on a different level.” Another couldn’t accept this reality.
Most thought a mortal was not worthy to wield a primal artifact, especially the desolate gods. Their eyes gleamed with greed but circumstances prevented them from taking action.
“Sigh, there is no bound to your stupidity, fools.” Li Qiye stared at them and shook his head.
If glares could kill, they would have killed him a million times over.
“That’s it, brat! I will educate you in your seniors’ stead!” White-robed Greenman roared furiously and reached for Li Qiye. Laws wove together to form a green maelstrom.
His desolate aura and the maelstrom frightened the crowd. Being caught in the maelstrom meant being twisted to pieces.
“Boom!” However, his true focus was the pagoda, not killing Li Qiye. This was just an act so that he could grab the treasure.
“Boom!” A primal aura erupted from the pagoda and reduced his hand to blood.
“Ahh!” The force emanated and ravaged his body as he screamed.
He felt the calling of death and tried to run. Alas, the pagoda flew out and landed on him, reducing him down to only his true fate and sacred fruits.
The ancestral power suppressed everyone in the crowd, forcing them down to the ground while bellowing in astonishment.
An eight-fruit desolate god stood no chance and was pulverized in the blink of an eye.
“Perfect, some sacred fruits for sale.” Li Qiye said with a smile.
“Y-you dare?!” What’s left of White-robed Greenman shouted.
“Ahh!” He screamed in agony as Li Qiye fetched his eight sacred fruits. The pain resembled being flayed or having flesh torn asunder.
“My dynasty will massacre your clan!” He roared and screamed, wanting to save his life by intimidating Li Qiye.
“Perfect, I’ve been looking to kill your dynasty’s members.” Li Qiye smiled and commanded the pagoda to crush his true fate.
The crowd was left speechless after witnessing the desolate god’s death. Destroying his true fate was virtually impossible for them but he was as helpless as an insect beneath the pagoda’s might.
Seeing the power of an ancestral artifact in person broadened their horizon.
“There’s no losing with this weapon.” One of them said; the rest couldn’t hide their greed.
“Not bad.” Li Qiye smiled while tossing it up and catching it, treating it like a toy instead of a priceless treasure.
Final Desolate God took a deep breath and bowed: “Young Noble, this pagoda was created by our progenitor and is the spiritual totem of our sect. If you would be so generous as to part with it, we will do everything to satisfy your demand.”
Listeners exchanged glances. They could understand his desire for it, whether it be from a symbolic and sentimental stance or the artifact’s power.
However, who would trade this artifact away? It was already one of the best treasures in Sin, only a fool would do so.
