Chapter 62: Clown
Chapter 62: Clown
Alan didn't seem to see Vincent and the others and walked straight to the dispatcher Rick. Suddenly, the figure in front of him blurred, and the tall and sturdy youth stood in front of him. Vincent laughed dryly and said, "Sorry you're late. My friends and I have taken a fancy to those items and have bought them. Of course, you can get what we paid at Rick's."
The red pupils immediately lit up, as if flames were jumping. A trace of anger flashed through Alan's heart as he snorted, "That's mine."
"But they are family items in the family warehouse. We only follow the rules." Vincent smiled at the other youths. "Of course, the barbarians on the surface don't understand this."
"So you should thank me. Today, I have taught you a valuable lesson." Turning around, Vincent approached Ellen and said.
The tip of their noses almost touched each other, but Vincent discovered that the youth in front of him, who did not look strong, was not frightened back by him like those fellows in the past. He only looked at himself, his bright red pupils clearly unable to feel any warmth. Instead, it was getting colder and colder.
Alan took a deep breath and suppressed his anger. He turned to Rick and said, "Please get Housekeeper Helsing. Since he registered the rewards, I think he can give me an explanation."
Rick nodded and was about to leave, but Vincent shouted, "Don't go!"
Vincent knew very well that once Helsing came, he would not only be unable to reap any benefits, but would also be punished. Unlike Rick, Helsing was someone he could threaten. The old butler, who handled the trivial affairs of the large Beth Cord family for Horn, was known for his impartiality, and was not moved at all by money or power. Not to mention that he, a small branch disciple, was unable to bring out anything that could tempt the old butler.
The goods were delivered to the warehouse by Helsing and registered under Allen's name. If it was just these people present, Vincent would have bought it under Rick's arm. However, with Helsing here, he would not be able to complete the business. After all, no one else is allowed to purchase something that has a owner, unless the owner agrees to do so. Now Vincent was bluntly saying that bullying Allen was new, and he didn't know about the rules.
Originally, he thought that it was already a blessing from heaven for Alan, a youth on the surface, to be favored by Horn and join Bescort. No matter how much he didn't understand the rules, he didn't dare to contradict this young master of the other races. But not only did Allen not retreat, he also had a tough attitude, and he knew how to bypass the branches and hit the vital points. This made Vincent feel very troubled. However, it was already difficult for him to get off the horse. The surrounding clan disciples were looking at him. If he couldn't even take care of a wild boy, then why would he still raise his head in this circle in the future?
Vincent raised his eyebrows, his eyes widened, and the corners of his mouth curled into a sinister smile, "Listen, this young master is going to order these things today. You have to sell them even if you don't want to, you know? Bitch from the surface!"
With that, he glanced proudly at the others, and when he turned around, a fist in front of him was constantly expanding. Then, he received a heavy punch to his left cheek, and Allen struck him so hard that Vincent took a few steps back before supporting his companion. Vincent angrily shook off the hands of the two youths and roared, "You actually dare to hit me?"
"I'm not so generous as to allow others to insult me without retaliating." Alan said coldly.
Vincent nodded and pointed at Alan, "What are you waiting for? Beat him!"
A few youths immediately surrounded Allen. Allen sneered and his origin energy surged, forming a circle of light on his body. When the Liaoyuan Blade appeared between his eyebrows, a scorching air current spread out, causing the faces of the youths to turn pale. They looked at each other and couldn't help but take a few steps back.
They had already ignited the flames, but they had yet to activate their own inscriptions. The Origin Energy practitioner versus the Seal Printer will be judged. Even though Alan was only a rank ten Raybird Sealer, he was not someone that only a rank five or six youth like him could deal with.
Vincent snorted, "I'm just a sealer. I'm not easy to provoke."
He also drove his Origin Energy, and there were earthen yellow light circles converging towards his chest. Alan was slightly surprised that this seemingly dandy fellow had actually activated the engraving. From this, one could see Beth Cod's background. Seeing that Vincent's imprint was about to take shape, a voice sounded out, "Enough, Vincent!"
Vincent looked in the direction of the voice. A youth carrying a long sword walked in from outside the warehouse gate. His sea-blue eyes reflected his shameful figure like the blue sky. Vincent asked, "Cousin Regess?"
"Shut up, call me cousin!" '"But a fellow who barely managed to climb a bit of blood relations ran over to recognize his relatives. Your thick skin makes me sick!" Said the teenager, somewhat irritably.
Vincent's face instantly turned red. He dared to be angry, but he didn't dare to say anything. As disciples of the same clan, the gap between the side branches and the direct branches was so huge. Regis looked at Rick again. "I seem to remember that the owner's items in the family warehouse are not for sale. What's your name?"
"Rick, Young Master Regis."
Regis nodded. "Well, Rick, you have a lot of guts. How dare you ignore the family rules?"
Rick's expression instantly turned ugly. "Young Master Regis, this is because " he said in a trembling voice.
Vincent stared at him with a threatening gaze that made Rick swallow what he had said. He smiled bitterly. Just as he was about to take the blame, Regis changed the subject. "What are you glaring at, Vincent! Don't think I don't know it was your idea, or a little dispatcher would dare to make his own decisions? Do you really think I'm an idiot?"
"Now, disappear right in front of my eyes. Perhaps, I'll go ask Grandpa, a disciple of a side branch, when did he have such great authority to modify the clan's system?"
Vincent's face immediately turned ashen as he glared at Alan with hatred, winked at the others, and ran away with his tail between his legs like a stray dog.
After they left, Regis said to Rick, "Forget it this time. If there's another time, don't blame me for being impolite."
Rick hurriedly thanked him, and Regis asked him to take out the rewards that belonged to Alan. "Don't blame me for not getting you back," Regis said to Alan while the dispatcher was busy. "In fact, it's a bit wrong for you to take action first. No matter what, I have to admit that your punch was beautiful. I wanted to beat that disgusting guy a long time ago, but I couldn't find a chance."
Alan had already dispersed his Origin Energy. He spread out his hands and said, "It's not my fault. I just arrived and didn't know so many of your rules."
"Just one more clown. If we fight, we'll fight. If I don't even dare to move him, how can we go on in the future?" Alan said calmly.
Regis looked at him seriously and said after a while, "You're more cunning than I thought. Hey, you don't know the rules. Don't say that. I've done you a favor. Can't you show me something?"
Ellen looked at him strangely and said, "Don't tell me you like my stuff too?"
'"Don't confuse me with Vincent! Besides, I don't need your stuff," cried Regeston, like a pissed-off puppy.
"Then how do you want me to thank you? Or, come over for dinner and I'll treat you."
'"Ellen, you stingy bastard, it's not the same where you eat dinner at home. Hey, don't you forget that you promised me yesterday that you would compete with me?"
"I haven't forgotten."
"Then let's do it now!" '"I see you just used a seal. That's good. We're equally strong. It'll be fun to fight," said Regis excitedly.
At this moment, Rick walked over with a simple cart. There were several boxes on the cart, and he said, "Mr. Allen, this is yours."
Before Alan could reply, Regis said, "Send these things to Alan's place. He's not free now."
"Come on, let's go to the training ground," he said, pushing Ellen.
Allenton had a headache.
Seeing Alan take him away, the dispatcher couldn't help but think about Alan's background. After all, this young master was far from approachable, and his temper was only slightly better than that of the Tyrannosaurus rex.
In the training ground, Alan looked at the tactical blade in his hand. The longsaber did not attack to prevent the blade from hurting people. This is a kind of standard knife. It has no characteristics at all, but the quality is better than some of the major goods. Whether it was the length or weight of the saber, it was far from Kuang Tu's. Alan held it in his hand with a light feeling.
On the other side, Regis also put down his sword, which he always held in his hand, and took a training knife of the same style as Alan's.
"Say yes first, I won't use seals." Ellen said first. If he used the inscription, it would not be a competition, but a desperate one. After all, he had just activated the inscription and was unable to use his abilities freely.
"That's not fun." Regis complained and said reluctantly, "Forget it, you don't have to use the imprint. But Alan, you mustn't let the water go, or you'll regret it."
Alan's eyelids twitched, and there was a bad omen.
Sure enough, Regis rushed over with a "yahoo" shout from the start of the competition. The long saber swept up the seemingly indistinct ripples and slashed at Allen without any tricks. Even though he didn't use any imprints, Regis had already used his Origin Energy. Although the long saber hadn't begun to attack, if he hacked down with a single saber, the stone would have to explode, not to mention Allen's head.
Now Alan understood why Kodorf and Adele called the little brat crazy.
'It seems that Beth Cod's people are a little abnormal,' Alan thought maliciously. However, his hand was not idle as he raised his long saber and slashed down, facing off against Regis head-on!
