Through the gap in the barrier, Emery summoned his spatial gate, anchoring it as far from the dark elf stronghold as possible. His mastery of spatial magic allowed him to cast a portal over 500 miles away under ideal conditions, but the lingering disruptions from the base limited his range to around 300 miles. It was still enough to give them a critical head start.

As the portal materialized, the scar-faced elf grand magus who had been monitoring the scene reacted instantly, his eyes widening in shock. "SPATIAL MAGIC!" he bellowed. "STOP THEM!! Don't let them escape!"

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the scar-faced grand magus threw caution aside. Ignoring the multiple grand magus opponents, he surged forward, unleashing his domain in a dark, purplish cloud that clung to him like a second skin. His twin daggers gleamed with smoke seeping from the blades like tendrils.

"Watch out! Poison!" shouted the Valaryn princess.

The giant grand magus Dopa, blocking its path, took the brunt of the attack. Without a trace of fear, he launched a powerful punch toward the oncoming threat, a shockwave of energy blasting from his fist.

BAMMM!!!

The blow connected, sending the scar-faced grand magus hurtling back followed by Dopa's deep laughter as he watched the dark elf reel from the impact. "HAHA! You are so unlucky!! My body is immune to poison!"

With the portal established, Grand Magus Helga was the first to step through, her spirit sense sweeping the area on the other side to ensure it was secure. She nodded, calling out to the wounded Grand Magus Archie to follow.

"Take care, my Lady," Archie said, glancing back with concern at the princess and Emery, his expression reluctant. But with a final, respectful nod, he stepped through the gate.

Emery watched them go before turning his attention back to the battlefield.

The plan was clear: they would wait five more minutes for Major Kouga and his Ghostblade team to make their move. During this time, Grand Magus Helga would scout ahead, ensuring their escape route was clear. Meanwhile, Grand Magus Archie could start healing his wounds in preparation for any surprise ambushes along the return route.

With the portal momentarily closed, Emery steeled himself, facing the encroaching elven forces, and called to his allies, "Let's hold them off as long as we can!"

The scar-faced grand magus had recovered from Dopa's blow and, undeterred, pressed forward with his poison-laced daggers, rallying the elven magus in a renewed assault. A tide of over a hundred elven magus surged toward them, an overwhelming blend of long-range spellcasters launching beams and bolts from afar, while others closed in swiftly, weapons gleaming with lethal intent. Emery, Grand Magus Dopa, and Princess Miriel braced themselves for the onslaught, knowing every second they held out here was precious.

Grand Magus Dopa, a towering figure of raw strength, took the front, his battlefield domain crackling with energy. A dense, oppressive aura spread out around him, instantly sapping the strength of any elven magus who dared enter. With every swing and punch, he scattered attackers, his skin seemingly impervious as he deflected blades and shrugged off spells.

"Hahaha! Is That all you got!! Come Here!!" he roared, his voice booming over the chaos, daring any who thought they could break his line.

Princess Miriel, though less imposing than Dopa, was no less formidable. Her cosmic power surged outward as she gathered energy. With a flick of her hand, dozens of glowing mirrors materialized around her, each one shimmering with otherworldly light. These mirrors were defensive tools that could redirect incoming spells, creating a shimmering barrier around their group. Emery, meanwhile, dropped to his knees, placing both hands firmly on the ground as he activated his [Elysian Vambrace]. Multiple runes glowed brightly as they connected with the earth beneath him. He whispered an incantation, calling forth his newly upgraded spell. [Greater Nature's Familiar]. The earth trembled in response, as a massive creature rose from the ground—a 50-meter Lizard shaped from stone and roots.

ROAARRR!!!

With a low, guttural roar, the creature lumbered forward, each step causing tremors that shook the battlefield. Its massive stone feet crashed down like boulders, crushing elven magus who strayed too close, leaving nothing but flattened earth and remnants of armor.

Elves scattered as it swung its enormous, root-clad tail, smashing several attackers into the ground, snagging unfortunate elves in mid-attack, and dragging them toward its gaping, rocky maw. With a grinding crunch, it devoured them, its jaws snapping the elven warriors like snacks.

Emery directed the creature with his thoughts, urging it deeper into the elven ranks, where it wreaked havoc and broke their formations.

The battle raged on with unrelenting intensity, but Emery kept his focus sharp. His divine sense remained attuned to the surroundings, alert for any incoming threats. five minutes had passed since the chaotic clash began, and in that brief span, Emery could feel the shift in the tide. From the southern wall, two elven grand magus approached, their power unmistakable. The arrival of these two grand magus would spell disaster for the group, and Emery knew that the window of opportunity for their escape was closing fast.

His gaze flickered to the surroundings—no sign of the Ghostblade unit had yet appeared. Doubt began to creep into his mind and just as the weight of that thought began to settle, however, a sudden awareness gripped him.

"They are here!!"

Emery's senses flared as he recognized the familiar presence—shifting, and cloaked in the shadows just several miles away. The Ghostblades had returned. Their silent footsteps barely whispered through the air, but Emery could feel their proximity.

The timing could not have been more crucial. The elven grand magus were mere moments away, and the two forces were converging on their position in a deadly race.

With no time to lose, Emery turned sharply toward Grand Magus Dopa and Princess Miriel. "Prepare yourselves!"

He then commanded his massive plant summons to unleash a final, ferocious assault to buy them precious seconds. Without hesitation, he opened the spatial gate. "Let's go! Move now!"

Princess Miriel was the first to respond, stepping swiftly into the portal without a second thought. Grand Magus Dopa followed immediately, his form shrinking back to normal as he crossed over.

Major Kouga and one of his Ghostblade warriors arrived next, despite missing two members they decisively charged into the gate with haste.

Realizing no one else was left, Emery leaped through last, casting a final glance behind him. He saw his summons being obliterated under the onslaught of the elven Grand Magus, just as the portal closed.
