Chapter 61 Learning
In any case, after making an image training for a few minutes, Ethan raised his right hand with his eyes still closed and then started to create an Ice Arrow. Thanks to all those memories, he learned the basics of ice magic and water magic. Basically, that kind of magic wasn't dense like earth magic or light like wind magic, it was in between them. As such, to create water and ice-based skills, Ethan had to consider the mass and the temperature before changing the nature of his mana.
Congratulations! You learned the skill Ice Arrow!

Congratulations! For learning a new ability without help, you received ten coins.
Just like that, Ethan learned a new useful skill. That being said, he felt nothing, nothing even close to a sense of accomplishment. Although Ethan could probably repeat that same process in order to learn other spells, just increasing his skills was a waste of time if he didn't level them up to a certain level. Besides, his fighting style wasn't of relying on magic. Ethan definitely took a step forward in obtaining the power to control Omni Hero.
Regardless, a few minutes had passed since Emily had started running. Still, she kept running even though Ethan thought he would have to keep telling her that there was no magic potion to increase her stamina. Well, there was, but he doubted that Ian's little sister would give her any. Emily looked bored out of her mind, but it didn't look like she was about to stop anytime soon.
"Well, well," Ethan frowned. "It looks like I underestimated you, and it is weak, but you do have an iron will inside of you. That being said, it has a lot of room for improvement, and I should have expected nothing less from a hero."
"I feel like I'm only making a fool out of myself by saying this, but… I can only keep running because there is no muscular pain," Emily sighed. "Still, you won't gain anything by praising me."
"I wasn't praising, but whatever," Ethan shrugged. "You are bored, so let's do something about that to increase the efficiency of your training. You aren't tired, and since you like to study, you can teach me one support spell. If I manage to learn the spell, you can stop to rest, and I will buy you some ice cream."
"Are you some kind of idiot?" Emily frowned. " I don't need a reward… who does eat ice creams so early in the morning, anyway?"
"What do you want to eat then?" Ethan asked. "Human beings can work better when they are about to receive a reward for their efforts."
"I don't need it," Emily said.
"Girls and their constant fight against their weight," Ethan sighed. "How about another letter from Lili? I bet she can even find more of your fangirls in that world. Or maybe fanboys would suit your tastes more."
"… I will pretend that I didn't hear any of that," Lili said, visibly annoyed. "Regardless, it looks like you can learn some support spells, but not all of them. Your magic isn't strong enough, and although something like that can be ignored if you have talent, you don't have it."
Ethan rubbed his chin thoughtfully. As expected, Emily's magic senses were pretty sharp. Even Ethan could tell that his magic was below the standards of even the most basic support spells, but something like that could be easily dealt with.

"How about now?" Ethan asked after he put twenty points into MAG.
pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ "… Yeah, now you can learn," Emily frowned. "Now I can understand why you became so suddenly stronger since yesterday. It is a leveling up system that grants you status points."
"I thought you didn't like to involve yourself with troublesome things," Ethan said. "True, but at this point in time, if I really want to keep using these boots, it is unavoidable. Anyway, let's stop wasting time and start your training. I don't want to keep running until lunchtime."
At the very least, Emily had faith in Ethan that he would learn one of the basic spells before lunch. Or maybe she had faith in his system, and it was hard to know. Regardless, Emily began to explain how to learn the most basic support spell: Mana Orb.
Ethan couldn't help but sigh since Mana Orb was only useful to illuminate the area around him. It looked like Ethan had expected a bit too much from spells of the lowest course of support magic. Unfortunately, if Ethan wanted to learn more about magic and then one day control his powers, he didn't have any other choice but to learn those spells that seemed useless on his head.
Congratulations! You learned the skill Mana Orb!
Duration: 60 seconds
Cost: 05 mana
Lv 01 – 0/100
Congratulations! For learning a new ability without help, you received ten coins.
Fortunately, learning that spell didn't take more than a few minutes. To someone who could use Neutral Mana Enchantment and Ice Spear, Mana Orb was really simple. That being said, Ethan couldn't help but frown, given that he received Emily's help… his system was really weird.
"It looks like you aren't the typical brain-dead warrior," Emily said and then stopped running. "Maybe you have some talent for magic, or maybe your system is that convenient."
"Here," Ethan said and then tossed a water bottle to Emily," Those boots are convenient, but you still need to keep yourself hydrated. Even more so considering that you don't have the patience to keep running without showing a fed-up expression."
"Thanks," Emily said while she was opening the bottle. "You only registered yourself in three courses, right? That means you don't have any more classes today. Do you intend to keep practicing all day? Unfortunately, I have some classes in the afternoon."
"It is cool. We don't have to hurry," Ethan said. "Like I said, it will take time to build your stamina, even while using those boots. I also have plans for this afternoon. So, you don't have to worry."
