Chapter 513: 515: Tomb Sinking Sword, Sky Tomb
Chapter 513: Chapter 515: Tomb Sinking Sword, Sky Tomb
“Do you understand?” the white-haired teacher turned around, taking a deep breath.
Understand, my ass!!
The disciples of the White Robe Sword Sect originally wanted to learn a move on the spot, so they could at least put up a fight if the people of the Summoning Demon Sect all rushed them.
But this Flying Sword Technique, from drawing the sword to its descent, is all about the conception with no fixed forms, no movements, and certainly no instruction how to turn such a fine blade into such a thick monument of a sword!!
Even Lin Zhong and Ming Xiu, the two with the highest comprehension in the Sword Sect, and the future successors, could only understand half of it. They grasped that sending the sword into the sky was to accumulate enough downward force, but they hadn’t fathomed how to form the impressive monument to suppress the earth; they were far from reaching the true heat.
“We don’t have much time, I’ll do it once more,” the white-haired teacher knew that expecting them to learn after just one demonstration was difficult, so he took another deep breath.
Compared to his previous stable form, his arms and legs were already trembling slightly, indicating his physical condition was far worse than it seemed, making demonstrating the technique a very reluctant act.
“No need, I was just grasping something,” Zhu Minglang spoke up at this moment.
“Good, use this sword to seal the mountains!” said the white-haired teacher.
The members of the White Robe Sword Sect formed a semi-circle, staring blankly at Zhu Minglang.
For real?
He learned it after just one look?
They hadn’t even grasped the basics of the sword technique!
Time was of the essence. Zhu Minglang’s previous strikes had driven back the people from the Summoning Demon Sect, but the Blood Helm Demon Centipedes were clearly several levels stronger. Some Flying Sword Swordmasters also tried to kill from a distance, but their flying swords couldn’t even scratch the creatures’ helms, with some poorly tempered ordinary flying swords snapping from being wielded too forcefully.
It would take the combined strength of several people to even have a chance at wounding a Blood Helm Demon Centipede. Unfortunately, these creatures knew how to use their burrowing ability to avoid the powerful flying swords circling above, making even the Sword Lords and Sword Monarchs of the Sect helpless!
Zhu Minglang glanced over, roughly pinpointing the locations of the Blood Helm Demon Centipedes.
“Rise!”
With a flick of his fingertip, Zhu Minglang’s thoughts perfectly fused with the Sword Spirit Dragon. The sword soared into the sky, reaching the heavens, its momentum slightly lacking compared to the white-haired teacher’s, but in form and conception, it was close!
Zhu Minglang’s gaze once again swept across the Long Valley, the mountain ridges, and the forest trail…
His finger constantly pointed to the long sky, as if a thread of thought connected him with the Sword Spirit Dragon. As his hand rose higher, it meant the Sword Spirit Dragon soared even higher in the sky!
Heart descending to the earth!
In a mere instant, gathering all the qi onto the blade, enveloping the sword with tremendous energy, then utilizing the force of the plunge to intimidate the demons of this vast land!!
The white-haired Sword Master saw Zhu Minglang’s descending sword move and immediately nodded in approval.
He had grasped the essence, understanding that no matter how high the initial rise, what mattered most was the concentration of qi in the blade, using one’s own qi to form a tremendous downward force, making the earth tremble before the sword even fell!!
“Tomb Sinking Sword—Sky Tomb!”
Suddenly, the descent of Zhu Minglang’s sword underwent a drastic change. His guidance wasn’t to gather energy at a single point but to distribute it across several areas above Long Valley!
The white-haired old Sword Monarch’s eyes suddenly burst with light, his face full of horror. He lifted his head to gaze at the sky, where shadows of swords that made one’s heart palpitate appeared, casting shadows over the mountain range like clouds!!
The massive Sky Tomb crashed down with overwhelming force, thrusting into the middle of Long Valley, instantly creating a suppression field as vast as a mountain ridge. The field ground two Blood Helm Demon Centipedes, that were burrowing out of Long Valley, into countless chunks of flesh and blood!!
As the Sword Tomb sank halfway into the earth, Long Valley trembled, mountains swayed, yet the Sword Tomb didn’t budge an inch. It stood there like a small mountain peak, its heavy field of force even flattening the forest for several miles around, pressing rocks and mountains together into deformed and strange shapes!
All members of the White Robe Sword Sect were terrified. The Tomb Sinking Sword, now wielded, already bore the divine essence of the white-haired elder. Most importantly, when Zhu Minglang unleashed it, its power was even more exaggerated; the ground shook and the mountains quivered, feeling as if Sword Manor itself would collapse!!
“It’s not over yet,” said the white-haired elder with a tone of disbelief.
Zhu Minglang’s fingers were still pointing to the sky. What was he still pulling at???
Hadn’t the sword already fallen and formed a Sword Tomb comparable to a small mountain peak…
“Buzz!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The earth trembled once more, and in the sky, another vast sword shadow loomed. Enormous like a cloud layer covering the wilderness, only it wasn’t a cloud shadow – it was a tomb, a Flying Sword formed from a gigantic gathering of Sword Qi!
“Boom!!!!!!!!”
The Sword Tomb appeared once again, plunging into the mountain range for another time.
One of the Blood Helm Demon Centipedes was attempting to burrow through the mountain, but as the Sword Tomb descended, the centipede seemed pinned to the ground, utterly immobilized!
That was the power of suppression, preventing the enemy from escaping!
In a panic, the Blood Helm Demon Centipede used all its legs to dig through the soil, trying to burrow into the mountain to escape this single sword thrust.
However, the Sword Tomb plunged straight into the mountain, skewering the Blood Helm Demon Centipede inside the mountain itself. Fresh blood seeped from the soil and gushed out of the cracks opened by the Tomb Sinking force. The mountain was bleeding, and the massive Sword Tomb stood erect within it, its imposing presence so heavy that it seemed the mountain would shatter!!
“Buzz!!!!!!!!”
The earth shook again. In the middle of Long Valley, another Sword Tomb descended, severing Long Valley and the burrowing Demon Centipedes along with it. Blood flowed like streams!
Sword Tombs landed one by one, suppressing the Demonic Beasts that roamed the Long Valley Forest. Some plunged vertically into the mountains, others slanted into the rock faces. They were swords of Demon Slaying and monuments of soul burial, as if they were carrying the ancient demons to eternal sleep in this region of Long Valley Lake, providing an incredibly shocking visual impact!!!
Looking around, from Long Valley to the Mountain Lake Sword Tomb, they stood rampant, not just slaughtering these Blood Demon Centipede Helms, but also making it impossible for the Summoning Demon Masters to call forth any more Demonic Beasts to so much as climb a step onto the manor!!!
The Barbarian Demon Lord had originally planned to exploit the chaos to attack the mountain, but as he stepped into Long Valley Forest, Sword Tombs fell around him, their heavy fields stacking upon each other and crushing the Barbarian Demon Lord to the ground, preventing him from standing even with all his strength!
Not a single Blood Helm Demon Centipede survived; every one of them was obliterated by the Sword Tombs. The Summoning Demon Masters, having used their own blood to call forth these powerful creatures, grew pale, weak-kneed, drenched in cold sweat, and utterly spent after the massacring force of Zhu Minglang’s Tomb Sinking Sword.
