Lilith's POV___

'The Goddess of Music.....! She is stronger than I thought.' Lilith had a very vague impression of the Goddess of Music. All she and her daughter, Sasha, knew were rumors about her going out of the Main Continent on a solo journey to the remaining continents. But the reality couldn't have been more different.

Lilith could never have imagined this Goddess being held in a Pocket Dimension for 3 years. 'And now she is a sister of mine.' Lilith felt that since meeting Aditya in a very short time, a ton of things about her personal and social life have changed. 'Now, I cannot just recklessly charge towards her. With her telekinesis, landing any attack will be extremely tough. The only thing that I can hope for is to catch her off guard and exploit that opening to the best of my abilities.' 'If I wasn't facing Rin, then I could have used some of my powerful Innate and Passive skills. But using such skills in a friendly spar would be too much.' This meant that Lilith would need to hold back. While Lilith was thinking how she should find or create an opening to land a solid heat on Rin, the dragon empress wasn't going to stand and wait for the succubus to attack.

"This time, let me take the initiative."

Lilith saw thousands of fiery projectiles streaking through the air. Each one was a meter long, with sharp, pointed tips that seemed to pierce through the space ahead of them. Their shapes resembled spears, but their slender bodies were more like arrows in length.

The sheer number of these blazing weapons filled the sky and moved in unison like a deadly storm.

Lilith quickly found herself surrounded by thousands of these fiery projectiles.

"Interesting!" Lilith said as she cautiously glanced around her.

"This is a special technique that I developed in my spiritual world. I have trained this technique very close to perfection." Rin trained for about seven months to perfect this technique. In her opinion, this was one of those skills that was very close to perfection with little to no weakness.

"Hey, I think we agreed not to go all out against each other," Lilith said in a nervous voice. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead.

Rin's lips curved up upon hearing her words. "Don't worry. The flame projectors aren't strong enough to kill you. At most, you will get some second-degree burns."

"Hey, that's still bad!"

'A portrait for all of this is not worth it.' Lilith felt that she should have just slept in her bedroom and waited for Aditya to return home.

'Doing this against a retired cultivator is not fair.' a part of Lilith felt that this woman was purposely doing this to get revenge on behalf of all the girls in the Dragon Palace.

Swoosh!!!

Two fiery projectiles were launched at her from behind. The sound of the attack allowed her to react in time and smoothly do both projectiles.

'These Projectiles are way faster than I thought.' Lilith felt the heat from both flame projectiles as they narrowly passed by her.

She barely managed to dodge these two projectiles.

"Nice!!! Now let's try dodging 1000 projectiles."

'Shit!!' Hundreds of black tentacles came out of her body and started wrapping around her in a swirling shape. Until the flame projectiles hit her, countless black tentacles continued to wrap around her.

Boooom...…!!!!

Scene Change

"Wow! I can feel the intensity from here." Julia whistled, seeing everything from a far distance.

She and Aditya were around a few thousand kilometers away. Since both of them were focused on fighting each other, neither of them sensed their presence, or even if they did, they would not have time to greet them as they were busy fighting each other.

"Fortunately, we did not miss the exciting part of this battle." Aditya was glad that Julia brought him here.

Apparently, she learned from Spencer that Rin and Lilith would be fighting in this remote location. On her way here, she found Aditya and brought him along.

"By the way, I heard that some ancient powerful cultivator's treasure was discovered recently. There has been a lot of hype around this treasure. Almost every noble in the capital is talking about this." Said, Julia.

Aside from her work life, Julia had a solid social life. Almost every week, she and a few other girls from the Dragon Palace attended parties or social gatherings hosted by other noble women.

She was not socially active before, but her behavior has changed as she has grown and matured.

11:31

The goddess of alchemy still despised these gatherings. She found them utterly unbearable, filled with people who only approached her with false smiles and shallow words, hoping to gain her favor. These pretentious noblewomen cared for nothing but their reputation and the connections they could make to elevate their own standing. It was painfully obvious to anyone paying attention. Since Aditya, the emperor of the empire, rarely bothered to attend such events, the only way to get close to him was through the women in his life. This fact wasn't a secret. In fact, it was widely understood among the nobles.

Ambitious noblemen often went out of their way to push their mothers, sisters, or wives to attend these parties. They hoped these women could charm their way into the royal family's good graces or at least strengthen alliances with other influential families. For many, these gatherings were less about celebration and more about scheming.

But it was also undeniable that amidst the sea of pretentiousness, there were a few genuine individuals who were worth making connections with. Among the countless noblewomen eyeing for influence and attention, there were rare exceptions.

Some women were sincere, graceful, and honest. Julia deeply appreciated these rare gems and found their company refreshing.

However, the reason Julia attended these parties wasn't for amusement or to pass the time. She didn't find any joy in the shallow gossip or the endless parade of egos.

Instead, she went out of a sense of responsibility. As the future empress of the empire, it was her duty to stay informed.

These gatherings gave her a valuable opportunity to understand what rumors and whispers were circulating within the noble circles.

"Yes, there is!"

"Well, it's nothing special...at least for us." Aditya had reached a point where this kind of treasure held little to no value in his eyes.

These treasures may be useful to lower-orderer cultivators or noble families who want their young children to become powerful as soon as possible for various political and military reasons.

"I think it was called Alaric Thunder Citadel." Even she sounded unsure.

"It's called Alaric Stormborne's Thunder Citadel."

"Though I feel that the Stormborne part is completely unnecessary here." Julia nodded her head.

"Some Empires from the Westnia and The Beast Continent put a team together to see if this myth that has been circulating around the six continents for many centuries now is true or not."

"After almost 11 months of searching the joint efforts between all empires, they found fragments of an ancient map hidden in disparate ruins across the continent. When the pieces are combined, it points them towards a single location, which is the heart of the Tempest mountains."

"But later, the Empires were unable to come to an agreement. One particular Empire from Westnia, driven by greed, secretly sent its young generations to get everything before others could."

"But it turned out that others also had the same plan, and their young generations met each other at the entrance of the tempest mountain. Things very quickly spiraled out of control, and someone leaked the map of the Tempest mountain, almost to the whole world. Now, every noble and rogue cultivator can get this information for about 50 gold coins from the black market." In the end, Aditya just chucked. This whole thing could have been avoided if they had not been so greedy and had instead worked together to get all the treasures. "Well, there are many reasons why I did not send anyone from our empire. But the most important would be that we just don't need anything from the Thunder Citadel." Aditya just shrugged.

"If the nobles of my Empire want to try their luck, they are welcome to do it. I'm not going to stop them, but as the Emperor, there is no need for me to get involved in this unnecessary mess."

The owner of the Thunder Citadel died due to his own mistakes.

Information about this guy was found in one of the countless books in the library. To reach the Sixth Order, he tried to absorb the energy of the heavy tribulations. But this backfired, and a single golden lightning shot turned him into ashes.

If people knew how he died, then there wouldn't be so much hype around the Thunder Citadel. Aditya was sure that there were some useful things for lower-order cultivators, but for someone like him, nothing in that Thunder Citadel could be of use.

If he needed cultivation pills, then he had the goddess of alchemy. The quality of her pills cannot be compared to anybody. And her speed was unmatched. Not even Peak 5th-order alchemist could match her pill and potion-making speed and precision.

If he needed any kind of rare treasure from nature, such as Magic fruits or some kind of decades-old rare bers, he had the goddess of nature for that. For example, dragon grass is the most valuable herb in the six continents, and even some cultivators from the main continent travel to the six continents just to get the Dragon Grass. But with the goddess of nature, he had hundreds of dragon grass in his treasure vault.

"Let's not talk about this and focus on their battle." Aditya was very interested in this friendly battle between both girls. It's not every day that he sees Lilith and Rin fight.

Just watching this battle, he is able to learn a lot more about their skills. A large cloud of black smoke surrounded the area, blocking everyone's vision.

'She is planning something.'

"Aditya, I can't sense Lilith's Aura. Did something happen to her?" Julia was worried about Lilith's safety. "Don't worry. Someone as powerful as her would not die from this kind of attack, although there is no denying that this attack was really powerful." The Succubus was onto something, and Rin might not have any clue about it.

"Is this yet?" Even she was confused and doubted the outcome. In the smoke, she could not see her opponent, and since the explosion, her aura had completely disappeared.

"If I had not held back, then the explosion would've been even more devastating." Rin intentionally reduced the speed of the projectiles as she did not want to kill or seriously harm her sister.

After all, this is just a friendly fight, and there is no need to go all out.

Swoosh!!!

Suddenly, a black tentacle came out of the smoke towards Rin.

Rin was startled as she wasn't expecting this. But at the very last second, she punched the tentacle with a flame fist. The violently compressed spinning flame orb easily destroyed the black tentacle.

'Where is she?' Instead, another 10 black tentacles shot out of the cloud of smoke. This time, Rin was prepared and repelled the black tentacles using telekinesis.

This shows just how powerful her telekinesis was.

From the smoke, hundreds of bats made out of Darkness appeared. These bats are just like the black tentacles. 'What is she planning?' Being cautious of what Lilith might be planning, she did not let the bats close to her. Using telekinesis, she pushed all the bats away. But as soon as she pushed the bats away, all the bats began exploding. Hundreds of mini small explosions began to take place. This kind of overwhelmed Rin as the explosions were happening non-stop. While this was happening, using the mini explosions as cover, a shadow flew above. As Shadow started descending towards her, it was only then Rin noticed her. It wasn't Lilith. It was a shadow figure that had Lilith's body shape and height. "I am not falling for that." She fired a flame projectile towards the shadow. Rin noticed that more of these shadow figures are coming at her from all directions. "Where is the real one? Is she hiding somewhere?' She did not know but this battle had become a lot more interesting. ----------------
