Chapter 3
C3 – Huge Amount of Experience
Zhen Yin let out a sneer, utterly disregarding Choo Qin’s darkening countenance. They were on the brink of a fallout, and in his mind, the Loser Royal Highness wouldn’t last much longer. After all, he believed he held the final say.
Choo Qin’s eyes widened in disbelief. He hadn’t expected the butler to be so brazen in his presence. He was a Royal Highness! Despite his current misfortunes, he remained the lord of this castle! Did the butler really think he could treat him with such disrespect?
”Very well! Very well! You’ve outdone yourself!” Choo Qin exclaimed.
“But as for this money, I’m definitely going to make use of it!”
Choo Qin smirked. Did the butler really think he could prevent him from activating the system? If he kept tolerating this, he might as well turn into a ninja turtle!
Choo Qin extended his hand to seize the box brimming with gold coins. Zhen Yin, with a look of disdain, reached out to block him, but was driven back by a massive fireball. The sudden blaze tore through his sleeve.
”What?! You’ve become a mage?!” Zhen Yin roared in astonishment as the fireball blew a gaping hole in the castle wall, drawing the guards to the scene.
Yet, upon seeing the standoff between the Royal Highness and the butler, the guards exchanged puzzled glances.
“Hmph.” Choo Qin responded with a cold snort after securing the gold coins.
“So you’ve become a mage, have you? I never imagined you’d keep such a secret. Why do you think I’ve stayed by your side all these years?”
“You’re barely a level 6 Mage Apprentice. With all the money and resources you’ve scraped together, I’ve reached level 10, nearly stepping into the realm of a Beginner Level Mage!”
In his fury, Zhen Yin let slip his true intentions.
“A Loser Royal Highness like you would be better off dead!”
The butler’s facade was gone; Choo Qin had singed half of his clothes. He had already written Choo Qin off as a dead man.
But alas, Choo Qin’s focus had already shifted elsewhere.
With the 1,000 gold coins, he had activated the most powerful Raising Dragon System and acquired a Dragon Egg, which was likely to hatch within a day. The dragon’s attributes were formidable, and the Raising Dragon System was impressive, yet Choo Qin’s attention was no longer on the system itself.
He was startled by the influx of experience points.
[Beep. You have obtained a dragon pet. Experience Points +9999999…]
[Beep. You have obtained the Raising Dragon System and the Dragon Tamer title. Experience Points +999999999…]
“One billion…” Choo Qin mumbled, stunned.
The two massive numbers overwhelmed him.
“…” He found himself at a loss for words.
It had taken only 10,000 experience points to reach level 6 as a Mage Apprentice.
One billion.
Choo Qin swallowed hard, struggling to make sense of it.
The two systems operated independently. He hadn’t anticipated that the first gift from the Raising Dragon System would trigger such an immense reward of Experience Points from the other system!
It was astonishing!
“Level up, level up.”
Choo Qin leveled up with an impassive face. Even without any skills, advancing his rank was no issue.
Magic Apprentice.
Beginner Level Mage.
High Level Mage.
Sorcerer.
In mere seconds, Choo Qin had ascended from a mere Magic Apprentice to a level 10 Sorcerer, spending less than a hundred million experience points—not even a significant portion!
Regrettably, it appeared that due to some magical cultivation bottleneck, he couldn’t break through to become a Great Sorcerer with Experience Points.
His exact power level was unclear.
But probably, he could obliterate the entire Thundery Castle with a single fireball.
And just then, Zhen Yin’s attack finally landed.
This smug butler intended to use his “magic knowledge” to give Choo Qin a lesson in humility.
