Davis let go of her lips and smiled at her. His Lea was so adorable even within the darkness. He kissed her forehead and turned to look around, noticing a small spirit watching them. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

It was just a wisp and was concealed, but he could sense its undulations, which were at Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage.

Davis was intrigued. To be precise, it was not a spirit but still a spirit attribute source. A low growl abruptly erupted from a crevice to the side when they tried to pass a narrow curve.

A strange beast, a two-meter tall quadrupedal beast with a curved blade on its head for a horn, abruptly shot towards them. It spun crazily as it unleashed an extremely sharp darkness blade, seeking to slice them up into two.

It put the strange beast into a spell, causing it to go limp as it fell. It twitched for a while before it stopped moving, appearing to be dead.

Tia, Mystic Divine Hailac, and Illumina were still like a statue, shocked beyond compare. They barely managed to recognize its presence with their karmic abilities, but it was too late by the time they reacted.

A Level One Empyrean Stage entity just rushed out of a crevice to assassinate them. Because it concealed itself and didn't release an area of effect attack, they were safe. Otherwise, they would've died from its undulations alone. But little did they know that Davis was aware of it the whole time and was on guard.

Davis bent and scanned its body. He was quite intrigued again. It was his first time seeing a Feral Beast this strong.

Feral Beasts were not categorized to be Magical Beasts or Savage Beasts.

Feral Beasts were Magical Beasts whose bloodline purity was so low that their bloodline couldn't be tracked to a certain race. They were a mix of many bloodlines, sometimes with one vague bloodline at the top, but it still wouldn't be enough to categorize them as an actual magical beast.

And unlike mindless Savage Beasts, they had a tiny amount of sentience and could hunt with their instincts better. Hence, it hid like a tiger leaping out of a bush to snap the neck of its prey in one move.

However, Davis doubted one thing.

Illumina received the feral beast in her arms.

It was big but not so much to her endless appetite. Her blood was boiling, screaming at her to sink her fangs into this beast. She was a darkness, and yin attributed magical beast, after all.
