Chapter 263 - 263 Fight (2)
263 Fight (2)
With Blake erecting the darkness dome and the dark flame walls right in the middle of Vera’s isolated space, the fight between the two sides was now clearly divided as each humanoid demon from the second realm had its own enemies to deal with from Blake’s side.
Robus began his fight by using his good old fist and dark earth armor. Colliding his armored fists with the sharp bone swords that were apparently sharp enough to leave scratch marks on the dark earth armor with just a single slash, something that was not an easy feat to do.
After feeling the power a weapon can bring him, Robus felt that he would be able to attack his opponent more aggressively if he were to use a spear and that was exactly what he did. After making an excessive attempt to make his enemy think he was launching a huge attack and forcing the humanoid demon with the bone swords to move away, Robus abruptly ceased his fake stance and quickly manifested the dark earth spear into his hands.
The dark earth spear manifested in just seconds using the gap that Robus had created. And now, Robus started his assault once more towards the humanoid demon with the bone swords, this time, with a tree-sized dark earth spear in his hands.
Inside the dome and the dark flame walls, Blake intentionally wanted to fight the muscular humanoid demon along with Cyra. Hence why he isolated the muscular humanoid demon inside his darkness dome.
Blake knew that fighting the muscular humanoid demon was incredibly dangerous for him if the muscular humanoid demon had ever gotten close enough to him, something that would definitely happen if Blake had limited their area of movement by erecting a darkness dome.
However, there was a reason why Blake still did it and dared to take on the muscular humanoid demon instead of the scrawny humanoid demon, which had the same fighting style as him.
The reason was that he was not alone. He had Cyra, the dark flame variant demon fighting alongside him.
With the two of them fighting together from two different sides of the muscular humanoid demon, one from the front and the other from the back, Blake and Cyra would be able to protect each other from a distance whenever the muscular humanoid demon had gotten too close to them.
.....
Just like what they were currently doing right now, whenever the muscular humanoid demon was about to get into an uncomfortably close distance to either one of them, the one that was on the other side of the isolated area would throw their attacks toward the muscular humanoid demon.
And with Blake and Cyra having the bloodline power Child of The Dark Flame, none of the two had to worry about hurting each other with the dark flame.
Cyra had taught Blake how to be resistant to flames, and it was actually very simple. Well, actually, it would be very simple for variants that had the same ability as Cyra.
By covering their whole body using flames, they would be able to go through other flames without those flames catching onto their bodies since their bodies had been covered by another flame.
Ever since the fight started, Blake had done what Cyra did whenever she went into battle mode and also exerted his fiery nether throughout his whole body.
So when the muscular humanoid demon got too close to him, Cyra could just blast a huge dark flame fireball or even create another wall of dark flames right on the spot where Blake and the muscular humanoid demon stood, forcing the muscular humanoid demon to abandon any thoughts of attacking as protecting himself from the vicious dark flames became his top priority.
Using that method, Blake and Cyra continued on slowly harassing and throwing in their attacks to the muscular humanoid demon, playing cat and mouse with the muscular humanoid demon, spending his nether and stamina the more time passes.
While the 5 demons went straight into battle the moment Robus leaped forward, two demons were currently not moving from their spots as the two looked at each other silently, their wings spread out and their hands hidden behind their backs.
The scrawny humanoid demon was the one who broke the silence as he spoke first, “I don’t know we can find any space elemental demons in the first demon realm, you must have spent quite an amount of time here to be able to find a rare space element demon to be able to make this rune formation.”
“Although I’m quite pissed off that you practically scrapped all the preparations I did, it’s not that unacceptable knowing that I got done in by a rare space element rune formation, one that was quite intricate that is. It’s an honor miss,” The scrawny humanoid demon bowed his head as he said his last sentence.
“I will also say the same for you. Finding a light elemental demon here shouldn’t be easy either,” Vera replied as he recalled the incredibly realistic illusion from before.
“And arranging the rune formation seamlessly, hiding it behind another rune formation that had a tendency to block out nether fluctuations to make it covert, you really are a diligent rune master.”
“I wasn’t expecting anyone with your level to actually waste their time to come up here to the first realm instead of continuing your descent,” Vera added as she stared at the scrawny humanoid demon up and down.
Hearing Vera’s last sentence, the scrawny humanoid demon’s face scrunched up for a split second before a bitter smile then adored his face.
“Believe what I said earlier, miss. The situation in the second demon realm is really not the same as before. Which forced my faction and the others to do this drastic measure.”
“Living here in the first demon realm and having your powers stripped out was really demoralizing for us.”
“But thinking about what would happen in the second realm if we did nothing, I am willing to take the risk and ascend up here to prevent that from happening.”
Vera wanted to ask what the scrawny humanoid demon meant. He had talked in circles too much and she needed a clear-cut answer. But then she remembered something about those factions in the higher realm, the branches of the factions in her realm.
“Exclusory pact?” She asked instead of her original question.
Without replying to her with words, the scrawny humanoid demon just nodded his head and did nothing else.
‘Then it must be related to the relationship between the branch factions…’ Vera thought to herself as she got the scrawny humanoid demon’s confirmation about an existing pact that prevented him from discussing faction matters with outsiders not participating in the pact.
“I don’t know what the details are, but I really couldn’t give up descending the realm. So your choice would either let us pass through peacefully or finish what we have going on right now and we let us pass through ourselves.”
