DC: I'm The Ultimate Lifeform

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Chapter 2

"Alright kid, you're in the process of waking up in your new home. DC has an infinite number of multiverses, all caught in an infinite web of multiverses, with the primary multiverse holding infinite universes, which hold an infinite number of dimensions. That's not talking about the higher dimensions, such as the speed force, and other such things that exist beyond the multiverse. Pretty much, DC is an omniverse, it might not be the strongest omniverse, but it's home to one of the strongest beings out there." The world began to grow dark, I tried to open my eyes wide, but it was pointless. I wanted to hear more about what Rob was talking about, what was an omniverse, Multiverse? All of this stuff was information I would need. "Anyways, this is the information of your templates, since they are all so good with each other, they would fuse to give you something special." And with those words, my mind went blank, and in came the information on my templates as well as the memories that had to do with the people who used the templates... and I was shocked by just how much stuff I would have.

After going through everything 10 times over to ensure I would be as powerful as I thought I would be, my eyes finally opened as I felt an uncontrollable sense of excitement. With this, what would I have to fear? I would be free, I would be the strongest, and be unmatched...

"Something is wrong, what's going on!" A Scientist called out seeing the alarms suddenly going off within the room. But when he looked at the computer, his eyes widened seeing the heart monitor which was going out of control.

"Damn it! First, those side kicks show up, and now this thing is starting to wake up!" He yelled clearly not liking this. He looked towards the tube filled with liquids, where the thing in question was. A man with long black hair, rolled up into a ball while hugging his legs... He had no tail.

"G-Gnome! Quickly, put it to sleep." He ordered the weird alien-like thing on his shoulders. G-Gnomes are small, four-legged white creatures with black stripes on their heads and short horns with red eyes. The G-Gnomes possess telepathy, allowing them to communicate with each other. The telepathy also allows them to mentally control people.

He tried to put the thing in the tub to sleep, and to his relief, the speeding heart rate began to slow down. He sighed slightly seeing the alarms go down, before looking at a black woman who came to report something.

"The clone is out of its cage." She said causing the scientist to quickly turn to go find that clone... but he didn't get the chance to leave the room as the alarms went off once more. He looked towards the tube, scared it was that thing inside, but it wasn't. Instead, a screen popped up showing the clone he was about to go after had just freed the side kicks.

"They are not allowed to escape, activate every genomorph... leave 5 down here to ensure that thing remains asleep. I don't even know why he would play with the genes of Doomsday." Saying that the Scientist ran off, leaving a few other Scientists behind to look after that thing in the tube.

'What's with these alarms? First that sudden calm, and now this loud and annoying alarm... it's so annoying. I can't remember the last time I been this annoyed at something.' I thought trying to think, but how could I think? First I was overcome with unending excitement, just for it to die down. Just when I almost fell asleep, this loud alarm went off.

'those templates did say I would have their uncontrollable state of mind... I need to be calm, I don't want to lose my self-control.' I thought trying to clear my head, something which I could barely do thanks to the beings affecting my mind... wait, someone was affecting my mind?

An uncontrollable anger suddenly exploded from every inch of my being, at that moment all I wanted was to destroy whoever dared to touch my mind... but I quickly calmed myself down. This was mainly thanks to [Sun Wukong Template], as something known as a cultivator of a Great Way and the Daoist Way, having powerful levels of self-control of one's mental state was key.

But it was a hard battle, I had to use those trying to affect my mind to help me out, while at the same time, using Doomsday's ability to adapt, helped me grow and adapt to that uncontrollable rage.

It took some time, but I soon opened my eyes. I seemed to be floating in what looked to be a tube, with the fearful looks of scientists all around me, eyeing me in horror.

'This is DC? looks no different from Earth... well, I can't say I'm shocked seeing I was being researched upon, I never trusted the government.' I thought while leaving the position I was in. I was rolled up into a ball, but as I stood straight up, I released my Ki, shattering the tube, while at the same time, the many things connected to my body were sent flying.

"Where am I?" I asked lightly, sizing up my body... and oh boy was I impressed. I had rock hard 8 packs, a body seemingly holding zero fat, and I was tall. I was 7'10, I was a giant. Sure I wasn't the tallest person to ever live, that title would go to someone who was over 8'10... but still, compared to my height of 5'9 in my past life, this took a second to get used to... Why didn't I have a tail?

Sadly my question wasn't answered, for the scientists turned and ran away with everything they had. I watched them leave, before turning towards the weird monsters which were trying to affect my mind... but I was immune to their abilities already.

'G-Gnome?' I thought seeing as the knowledge and information on who they were as well as their powers and abilities appeared in my mind. I already knew I had adapted to perfectly counter them, I didn't expect I could even transform into them and have all of their powers and abilities... no, I would be better. I would be the prime version of who they were. 'Interesting.' I thought reaching out, and as if it was a snake, my hand stretched out past its limits, grabbing one of the annoying things and crushing it. I didn't like being mind- controlled, so I killed it... but when did I become so ruthless?

That question caused me to pause, for as long as I could remember, I had always valued life. Even things like insects were something I was nice towards and tried to put them outside while avoiding killing them.

'The templates seemed to have affected me in many ways, I guess with great power comes the risk of losing who you are...' I thought, before just adapting to the changes. I didn't know much about Doomsday, but it looks like he couldn't adapt to his endless hatred towards life. I could adapt and return to myself... no, I couldn't fully return to the me I was once... that wasn't the right words. Deep down, I didn't want to return to being the same person I was in the past.

So I transformed, becoming something better. I transformed my mind into the ideal being, something not to be a puppet for others. I wanted to be free, free from responsibilities, free from the expectations of everyone else. I wanted to just worry about myself, and see to it I lived the way I wanted.

"... so, should I kill you all?" I asked looking at all of the remaining G-Gnome, who fearfully backed away from me. I looked at them for a second, before ignoring them. Why didn't I kill them? I didn't want to take lives for the sake of taking lives, I also had to remember this was an omniverse, and I didn't want to have to become enemies with everyone. I had to think of the future and how every action I took could come back to bite me.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Sure, the G-Gnome could lead to them seeking revenge, but at that point, I will kill them out of self-defense... But am I still not living under new chains? The fear of the future? This thought caused me to frown, it was something to sleep on.

Either way, I didn't believe I would leave this lab today without people after my back, so it was best I start playing the right moves.

Anyway, I began heading towards an exit. But I quickly found I was in an underground lab, forcing me to walk up a bunch of stairs... yeah, that wasn't happening, so I just flew up, looking at the scene of battle all over the place.

I quickly stepped out of the lab, I had to destroy a few ceilings along the way, but I soon found myself standing before a battle. I stood there in amazement, I mean how couldn't I when

before me, a group of 6 was fighting against 1 huge monster?

One seemed to be a normal human, but with how he had some type of hologram over his arm, he seemed to be their leader as he gave everyone orders and they acted upon them. Another was someone super strong, wearing all white, with a red S symbol on his chest, he seemed to be the heavy hitter of the group. I saw that S symbol before, it was from some cartoon character called Superman, I don't know much about him other than he could jump over buildings and is bulletproof.

There was a fast guy, he was running at speeds near the speed of sound. There was an Emo girl who was controlling the ground and other things around her, and throwing them at the

monster.

There was a dark-skinned man who seemed to have gills on his neck. He used water which he controlled to be a hammer and attacked using. Lastly was a blonde-haired girl with a golden lasso, who seemed to have strength only second to the guy with the S symbol.

"Oh, what would you guys do without me? Clone you're up!" The girl with a lasso said using the lasso, using it to take hold of the monster and throw it at the guy with the S symbol.

"Don't call me that!" enraged, the clone punched the monster with everything he had, sending it flying into the sky, all while the emo girl knocked over all of the pillars. With that, the lasso girl took hold of the monster with her lasso which she had a supernatural level of control over, and brought it down slamming into the ground at high speed.
