"Is there really such a thing? Real friends who last forever?"

<(Bruce Wayne POV)>
"You stay in the car, Master Bruce. I'll go outside and see what they want." Alfred spoke up after a few seconds of observing the assassins while taking out the lawgiver gun from Judge Dredd that I gave him on his birthday. He knew that even though the ninjas would not be able to get inside our car using regular bullets, they would still be able to do it with explosives if they used a big enough charge.
"Have you finally gone insane old man? Do you think a peak-body serum and a fancy gun make you invincible? I can confidently say that I can beat up all of them without suffering even the tiniest injury, can you? *Sigh* Look Alfred, I understand your desire to protect me from danger but, I am already an adult now. I can take care of myself. You don't have to worry about me all the time you know." I explained as I stopped him from hastily opening the door of the car and getting out. "Plus, I am sure that even if we don't do anything, Cortana has already called for help anyway, right Cortana?" I asked shifting my attention to the bracelet on my hand.
"I have but it looks like these people have considered everything. They intercepted the car at a point where all police stations were at least twelve minutes away. Also, they seem to have registered several false complaints all at once forcing most of the cops in the city to have gone to areas in the opposite direction from your current location. So, I doubt the cops will be able to reach you in the next ten minutes and even if they do, I am doubtful that they will be able to combat highly trained armed ninjas.
I have already sent several combat drones in your direction too but 'coincidentally' your location is also quite far away from home, so it will take about seven to eight minutes to reach you even at full speed. You will have to survive somehow till then." Cortana's slightly rushed voice sounded like she was panicking because of her powerlessness.
"Survive? You all are underestimating me too much, don't you think?" I snorted as I watched two of the ninjas attach a special device to the front of the car in an effort to break in while our driver who was also a part of my armed security force loaded up his handgun. "They seem to know almost everything they need to know to successfully assassinate me, even the fact that I wouldn't have too big of a security detail with me today... A traitor in our ranks perhaps?"
"A traitor?... But only a few people knew that we weren't going to bring guards to the press meeting today and it was a last-minute decision too. As for those who knew, they are all people I personally vetted or trusted with my life. They... shouldn't be betraying us for no reason." Alfred responded with a thoughtful expression.
"Mr. Wayne, it is only a matter of minutes before they are going to break into the car through the front window. I'll try to get out and sabotage that machine of theirs while taking out as many as possible, while you should sit back and wait for reinforcements to arrive. Remember, don't try to be a hero Mr. Wayne and I promise that you will ah,..." The driver/ disguised security officer wasn't able to complete his sentence as I knocked him out with a simple well-directed chop on his neck.
"..." -Alfred.
"What? He was going to die if he tried to play the hero. Plus, I prefer not to leave witnesses for what is going to happen next." I snorted before calmly opening the car door.
"I think I am going to need a raise." Alfred sighed as he rubbed his forehead.
I of course ignored him and looked at the ninjas, most of whom were still focused on breaking apart my car's front window.
"Hey guys, can you stop that? This was a limited edition highly customized Rolls Royce. The car costs more than your entire terrorist organization is worth." My words immediately grabbed their attention as I locked the car door behind me again to make sure that Alfred didn't get involved in the scuffle.
I was actually lucky that I wasn't riding a Wayne Tesla car. At least, I can still market my company's electric car as tougher than Rolls Royce after people on the internet see this bullet-riddled shell of a trashcan.
"... Get him." The leader of the ninjas commanded the others in a distorted voice as they stopped trying to blow away my car window.
At his one command, I was instantly surrounded by about a dozen ninjas wearing pitch-black mesh suits all over their bodies with Kevlar vests on top. They were even wearing full face masks with a sword at their back and a gun in their hands. Truthfully, they looked less like ninjas and more like special force soldiers trained to the level of ninjas with ninja clothing.
They didn't waste any time conversing with me as they shot me with everything they had, emptying entire clips onto me in an effort to put me down. However, unfortunately for them, I was faster than any target they might have faced before.
With a superhuman level of dexterity and seemingly impossible agility, I was able to dodge each and every bullet coming my way with my expert maneuvers as I closed my distance to them.
"Dodging bullets at point-blank range? Impressive. You have become faster." The leader commented in an almost impressed voice, sounding like he was praising me for it. However, the next moment, he too took out two handguns and began to shoot me with them.
This time, it was much more difficult to dodge those bullets. The guy was good, like really REALLY good. He was even able to accurately predict my moves to shoot at me more precisely and this time a few of the bullets even grazed my skin.
They didn't seem to be normal bullets since even though they did no actual damage to my body, they did sting a little like someone plucking body hair from my body.
The other 'ninjas' tried to capitalize on this by swarming me with swords in their hands. However, despite their exceptional training, they were just ordinary humans with normal human attributes. Neither their strength nor speed could even hope to match mine. To me, they just seemed like children swinging their plastic swords at me, hoping that they would be able to catch me by surprise.
Quickly disarming about seven of them, I swiftly knocked them out by hitting on their nerve points. It took me about thirty seconds before most of them were already unconscious.
They were trained very well. None of them tried to flee or even thought of giving up but most of them seemed to lack any meaningful experience to even hope to block my attacks making this confrontation much smaller than I expected.
'But still..., something about their fighting style feels really familiar.' I thought in my mind as I tried to remember where I had seen these cold and calculating moves before, techniques that were designed to effectively do their job instead of just being flashy moves.
'Wait, a minute.' I whispered to myself as something suddenly clicked inside my mind.
I instantly used the white world on the leader and it showed me exactly what I wanted to see. His body was the epitome of the perfect body of a soldier, a body that I had seen before.
"So, did you finally recognize me?" The leader spoke through his mask and distorted voice as he lowered his gun.
"Seriously? You attacked me in the middle of the fucking road with the very recruits I told you to train?" I asked as I released the neck of the ninja I was holding.
"Oh, come on. It wasn't an attack, I know about your bio upgrades. No way, they can hurt you. Even that titanium-encased bullet didn't manage to put a scratch on you. I was just letting you sample the products I have prepared for you. A battalion of fresh highly skilled and meticulously trained assassins just like you ordered." Deathstroke revealed with pride as he theatrically waved his hands at the group, most of whom were lying unconscious right now.
"... Next time, deliver my orders at my home." I joked.
"Haha don't worry, There are just twelve of them here. The rest of the 188 are still at the base. I'll call them *Bang*... " A gunshot suddenly interrupted Deathstroke, forcing him to fall to the floor with his hands clenched at his chest. Blood was visible coming out of a wound there.
"I have been waiting to do that for a long time." Alfred emerged from the car with the lawgiver in his hands.
"Da fuck? You shot him? He wasn't a villain, he was only Deathstroke. He was just dressed as an evil professional assassin to prank me."
"I know he was Deathstroke. That is the reason why I even shot him in the first place," Alfred answered.
