[Vol.4] Quest 351- Westward Cloud, Final Chapter, Part 1- Standing Before Winter.
While walking towards Dragon Valley, Cirrus found it odd. There is no snow in the area. Given how far north it is, he hasn’t seen a flake of snow.
"Ah." A thought popped into Cirrus head. "I just remembered your last words, Wu. Heh… Hehaha!! Oh, what a fate I got!"
Cirrus looks up at the gray cloud-filled sky and continues to walk ahead. He walks to finally arrive at the sound he has been hearing for the past 2 hours.
"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A roar that can shake even the mightiest of mountains and heroes down to their core. He walks near the valley’s rim, which is still within the tree lines.
From afar, Metis watched him before looking up at the sky and spoke.
Back in Orario. Room of Prayer.
"Fels, there seems to be more commotion as of late," Ouranos asked.
Fels forms from the darkness.
"Lady Artemis had ordered her children to find Cirrus. It seems he has gone missing."
"He has? Hm… well—"
‘Ouranos.’
A Familiar voice rang in his mind.
"Metis. You should be—"
"!!" Upon hearing that name, Fels freezes up.
‘Ouranos, I ask of you if I can use my divine mirror?’
"… For what, exactly?"
‘So the world could see its finest hero fight one last time.’
"!!" His eyes widen. "Permission granted."
Throughout the world, Divine Mirrors popped up. Many gods opened one as well to see for themselves, but all they saw was Cirrus walking.
Solingen.
"Why is Cirrus—!?" Malion froze up as, before him, several black dragons emerged from the valley, and her trauma from the Black Dragon kicked back up. "Huff! Huff!! Huff! Huff!"
"Malion!!" said Ryuu. "Are you alright!"
"No," said Ais, with eyes and a chest full of fury. "He must—"
Orario.
"Be at Dragon Valley," said Artemis. "Ai! Go quickly!! Gather everyone!!!"
"You heard her!!!" Ai shouted. "Gear up and let's move!! We have to—"
Solingen.
"Go and get him!!" shouted Malion. "He’s going to fight it on his own!!" she said with tears running down her face.
"Finn! Lili! We have to go now!" commanded Ais. "We can’t let him go in alone!!"
"Ay," said Lugh. "We’ll get you all the supplies for the trip you need, free of charge."
"Say," said Welf. "He... isn’t drawing his sword?"
They all watched as a hoard of dragons closed in on him.
Dragon Valley.
Cirrus closes his eyes, and he sings.
"Light shone in one Sunday morning.
I grew up without a warning.
Misty hills and dark-lit mountains
Traumatized, well-hid♪"
The wyverns opened their mouths to eat Cirrus when his shadow shifted, and several arms shot out, grabbing their throats and smashing them to the ground.

Yet Cirrus didn’t change his cadence or expression.
"Walking in the shadows, landscape.
From these things, I want to escape.
Knowing full and well, I stay connected with my hell. ♪"
Cirrus kept singing a melancholic tune while the world was stunned by this sight. Those who were at Olympia knew Cirrus was not holding back.
"Stillness over the water
They traumatize heavy water.
I used to be so young and free.
But now I'm bound by the bonds that be ♪"
Cirrus stepped over the wyverns as more came to kill him, but it was all the same. Several powerful gray arms grabbed them and broke their necks.
"I know how I should do.
And I’ve known it for a long time.
And I’ve only got to do it.
Brain is formed by choices before♪"
Some wyverns flying high were ready to use their breath attacks when Cirrus’s shadow shifted once more. A black streak cuts through the sky, cutting the wyverns down.
Whoosh!!! Swish!!!
Whoosh!!! Swish!!!
Whoosh!!! Swish!!!
Blood rained down on Cirrus, but he kept singing, and when a chunk of the dragon was going to fall on him, a star-covered dragon grabbed it out of the air and landed next to Cirrus.
Thud~ Thud~
Thud~ Thud~
"Serene on earthly winds are blowing stones.
And burning clear rocks throwing.
Clarity has vanished.
Like some last breath on earth ♪"
Cirrus makes it to the edge of the cliff.
He stopped singing.
He looks down into the valley of black wyverns.
"… Hecton." To his right, a gray-skinned man in a nice suit appeared from his shadow. "Fafnir." The dragon stood behind him, ready to protect its master. "(Circe)." He held out his left arm, and his magic circle appeared; Circe appeared in her hawk form on it.
Back in Orario, Vesta was watching.
‘Please! Please! Just one more—'
Dragon Valley.
"(Vesta)." Cirrus held out his right hand, and White Night appeared in an electrical blue flame. "Bwoosh!" Cirrus grabbed the handle, and the sparking fire shredded off, revealing the Divine Weapon. "It’s finally time..." He grips White Night tightly, and he holds it up towards the sky. "(Sing). It’s time to (Wake up, Nox)!!!!!!!"
The weapon’s black form quickly changed to pure white. Thunder quickly condensed around the blade.
CRACK!! CRACKLE!! CRACKLE!!
Cirrus swings the weapon down into the valley full of black wyverns and—

—He slaughtered all who were in the swing's way, leaving piles of wyvern bodies stacked at the bottom. Many started to turn to ash.
Many also saw his hair turn faintly white at the end, but when he said—
"(Theïká Panoplía: Zodiac.)!!!"
An odd energy could be felt around the world. They could see energy that felt close to divinity form around Cirrus like a cloak or a second layer of skin.
"Ha~" he lets out a deep breath as his magic circle forms.
From his magic circle, which was now surrounded by a Zodiac Wheel, his armor wrapped itself around him. Circe turned to smoke and covered him as his armor adorned him with what many considered to be Heavenly Armor.
"A step into the unknown." He takes one step closer to the edge.
White Night’s red tassel grows and wraps around Cirrus’ neck. His symbol, his proof of his status as the Hero of the White Night.
In appearance, it resembled his Chimera armor but was less mismatched and more unified, with many of the animals his armors were styled after engraved on parts of the black and gold armor that were tinged in twilight along with a faint glow.
Hecton and Fafnir also changed when he did that.
"Grrrr!!!" Hecton gritted his teeth as his gray skin gained color. "Trans-Am!!!" He bellowed.
Hecton’s gray skin turned black and red, with stars in the blackness.
Tsssss~
Tsssss~
Steam came off him as if someone were pouring water into a hot skillet.
Fwish~
Fafnir’s scales are dyed to resemble those of White Night, with stars covering her and white scales that deflect the sun’s beams.
"Hmm~" Fafnir stretched her wings, which held a white, starry night. "White Comet!!" she shouted.
She was lucky that her change was easier than Hecton’s. "
Many could feel how much strength was in this armor and those next to Cirrus.
Yet there was still more.
"(Vesta, Extermino.). Let us (Sing) together, Vesta."
White Night and Cirrus were engulfed in a blue electrical flame that spread over Cirrus as he closed his eyes before slowly dying out. When he opened his eyes and turned a shade of blue, he fully let Vesta become part of him.
"Fuu~"
Whoosh~
White. A pure White slowly dyes Cirrus. His black and gold armor, with a tinge of twilight, was consumed, and his right eye turned topaz. His red scarf turns blue like the flame and lightning.
Bwoo-ackle!!! Bwoo-ackle!!! Bwoo-ackle!!!
The electrical azure flame clad Cirrus as a second layer of armor.
"And a step into infinity."
Cirrus then took another step and jumped high into the sky with White Night in hand.
Crack!!!
Whoosh!!!
The wings of a falcon appeared on his back as he pointed down at the deepest depths of the valley.
"(Sing)!!!!!"
A massive onslaught of might came crashing down on the valley when, from the valley, a blast of black fire emerged to meet Cirrus’ attack.
BWO-AAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The blast of purple flame instantly melted through the earth as if it were butter being cut with a 1000-degree knife.
BWOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The attacks met and exploded in a dark blue hue.

"Grrr!" Cirrus said.
The blast shook Cirrus to his core. He swore that if he were a level or two lower, he would have been killed instantly or crippled with lost limbs and burns.
"Hah~. Come." Cirrus flies back to the ground, looking down at the smoke-covered valley.
Whooosh!!!
The smoke instantly cleared away as a black blur broke through the earth, flying high in the sky.
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
The world froze as Cirrus glared up in the sky, where a massive black dragon flapped its pair of wings.
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Its scales were dark enough to drink the sun, with purple flames wreathing its body.
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Flap-Flap!!!!!!
Its left eye was a cold, vivid shade of red that could pierce through any form of darkness. Its head looks similar to that of a serpent. Its jaw looks sharp enough to bite into space, with rows of teeth like a lamprey.
THUD!!!!
THUD!!!!
It landed on the ground. It never left its gaze off Cirrus, even when it was obscured by the dust it kicked up.
Its horns seemed to be able to scrape the heavens.
Its wingspan was at least about a section of Orario, strong enough that a simple flap could rip off the roof of a building and change the formation of clouds.
"You human."
Cirrus lands back on the ground.
Tap-Tap~
He slowly approaches the Black Dragon with extreme caution. Hecton and Fafnir are ready to move at Cirrus's command.
"So... you can fucking talk." Cirrus looks at it. It was vicious-looking, as it was massive.
The Black Dragon, while not as tall as Hecton, it was three to four times bigger than Fafnir. But its presence made it larger than it was.
"Yes, fire eye."
It then opened its right eye to show the purple flame blazing brilliantly, even better than Epimetheus. Its appearance in the Divine Mirror only made the hatred for it grow, boosting its strength.
"Well, good for you, but I’m going to fucking rip it out." He grips White Night tightly.
Cirrus could have sworn he saw it make a smirk as it opened its mouth.
"Try. Pebble."
"I bet those were Goliaths last words before David slung a rock at him."
The final chapter of The Hero of White Night, Cirrus Zephyr, begins. It is as they say the star that shines the brightest burns quickest.
