"Yeah, yeah." He leans over, resting his head on the railing. "Sorry if I’m lethargic. I’m still a bit tired."

"I won’t take up any more of your time, sir. Um, I just came here to say I am sorry for letting Haku, your son, get on board."

"It’s whatever. He was sure to get along in some form or fashion. Besides, I bet you felt you couldn’t go against him, right? With his position and all?" He glanced at Mairu.

"A-a little…" She looked away.

"Well, how about this? As the first head and lord of the Kyūjouno Family and as his father, I give you this order. Watch over my son and make sure he doesn’t screw himself over. Can you do that?"

"Y-yes!!" She said it, a bit flustered.

"Good. Now you better go down for instructions or hide. Ai will soon get her hands on you."

"Yes sir! I will make sure to follow your orders!" She said it graciously.

"Run along then."

Mairu bows and walks away.

"Haa~" Cirrus leans back and lays across the arena seats. "It sucks that I need another nap."

He closes his eyes and falls asleep under the warm sun’s rays.

"I feel more like a lizard, needing an external source of heat."
