Chapter 6: Zombie (2)
In an instant, another two hours quickly passed by.
Leo floated behind the zombie in silence. Completely vex. He already scared the zombie and made its luck bad, yet after two hours of waiting nothing of the sort happened... The only worth mentioning was that the zombie stumbled and fell to the ground minutes ago.
"F*ck, how could this zombie be so lucky. Should I rely on my horror points to increase the level of my Jinx?" Other than his Jinx passive skill, Leo couldn't think of anything that could affect and kill the Incomplete Guy.
"Sigh. I didn't notice that being a ghost is actually difficult."
Leo places his imaginary hand below his imaginary chin, fighting the urge to upgrade and spend his horror points in order to deal with the zombie.
As he was pondering about the possible option he could do in able to kill the zombie in front of him without spending his horror points. Another sound of grunting echoed in the distance.
Don't tell me...
Leo quickly glanced toward the intercross of the street meters away. Sure enough upon focusing his imaginary eyes, Leo caught sight of a staggering figure/zombie in the opposite street.
This time, compared to the zombie beside him, the zombie in the distance doesn't have any arms.
"F*ck, another zombie!? I could not even deal with a single one yet another one appeared!"
"This could not do."
Gritting his teeth in impatience, Leo decided to go all out. Of course, he didn't plan to upgrade his Jinx for a while, afraid to really kill everyone he met due to them being unlucky.
Opening his character panel, Leo decided to bet his luck on one of his skills the "Mist of Illusion". In essence, the zombie in front of him is still made of human flesh. In able to function even a little, it needed its brain to be functional reasoning for its brain to be its weakness.
Since the zombie beside him requires its brain to function, it is also required to take/breathe air for a while even if it's a little to make its brain functional.
The only problem with using this skill is the consumption of mana, Leo has no idea if his mana pool is enough to cause the zombie besides him to hallucinate. If not, then he could only rely on his horror points to deal with the zombie.
"It should be working," Leo grumbled as he activated the skill, causing his mana to instantly reduce by two leaving him with 13...no, 12.9 mana points as it constantly reduces his mana by 0.1 per second if he didn't deactivate the skill.
At the same time after activating the skill. mist of gray fog immediately gushed out inside his body, instantly making the surrounding area foggy.
GRUNNTT?
Upon seeing the sudden appearance of the fog, the zombie beside Leo looked around in puzzlement. Upon seeing that no sign of a living being around, the zombie again grunts and continues walking forward.

How long has it been since I started following this Zombie around?
Leo asked himself, looking at the fissure in the sky with dull eyes.
Yesterday or another yesterday, Leo remembered that he cast his skill "Mist of Illusion", to the zombie beside him. Surprisingly, the result of the skill was out of his expectation.
It completely failed!
Although they need air to function, the air they inhale is too little every time they breathe causing him to run out of mana before the Mist of Illusion affects the zombies!
Yes, Zombies. Leo didn't know the reason why, but the zombie (without arms) he met before decided to tag along with them!
Are they going to create a horde one day?
Sign... Nevermind. This is really problematic.
Leo muttered to himself as he opened his skill tree with a heavy heart, directly upgrading his Soul Constriction to the maximum level in one go!
Ding!
[ Upgrading the Soul Constriction to level 2 would cost 100 horror points. (Accept/Declined) ]
Ding!
The skill Soul Constriction successfully upgraded to level 2!
Ding!
The skill Soul Construction successfully upgraded to level 4!
[ Upgrading the Soul Construction to level 5 (max) would cost 1000 horror points. (Accept/Declined) ]
With a bleeding heart, Leo accepted the deal and upgraded his skill to level 5, instantly reducing his original 2,240 horror points to 390 horror points.
Upgrading his Soul Constricted skill from level 1 to level 5 (max) cost him a total of a staggering 1,850 horror points!
Once poor again, Leo checked the new description of the skill upon upgrading to the maximum level.
Ding!
[ Constricted Soul (Lvl 5): Permanently increase the soul power by 10 and strength by 0.5.
Upgrade skill: None. Already on maximum level.
Note: The first step towards every successful ghost. ]

Seeing the high increase in his soul power and the additional increase in his mana pool, Leo smiled at the zombies with malicious intent. With the new increase in his stats, he was quite confident dealing with the two zombies around.
Without wasting enough time, Leo instantly activated his Mist Illusion skill which heavily rely on his soul power for its strength.
Instantly after activating the skill, a thick gray of miasma appeared in the surroundings, encircling the two zombies within.
"Hahahaha! Let me see if I could deal with you two!"
Leo laughed crazily as he waited for the skill to take effect on the zombies beside him. When that happened, it would be the real start of the show.
