Chapter 27 – City and Serenity

Aiko was able to leave the building without much trouble. She thought that it was a bit too easy, but she didn't know that the Auction House didn't guarantee the merchandise, rather they were happy if the merchandise escaped since it meant that if they captured it again they would be able to sell it twice! Unfortunately for the manager, they wouldn't be able to catch it, as the only Nascent Soul currently inside was the injured old man and as such they had no means to capture Aiko.

Aiko was outside, but stunned, no matter how far she looked or ran, the City never ended. The scale was too large for Aiko to leave in one day.

She jumped into nearby alleys. They were much more peaceful than the main roads, fortunately, it was night so she was hard to spot with her black fur and small body. She was able to pass ruffians and other creatures without any difficulty. She blinked several times as she thought her eyes moistened, but unfortunately for her, it was not her eyes, but rain.

The rain was very cold and the only places safe from the rain were brightly lit, if she tried to hide there someone would be able to spot her and that would be bad. She didn't want to get captured again, but...

'It's fucking cold!' She shivered as her fur was completely soaked and she suddenly weighed 3x her usual weight. She felt heavy and tired. She hadn't eaten anything since she was asleep for who knows how long.

She blinked several times but eventually laid down on a rock in nearby alleys where water didn't reach...

"Princess..." The guard was concerned as he noticed it would rain soon.

"It's fine, it will be easier to negotiate with it." The Princess smiled, she was already fangirling over Aiko and now she would be able to groom her fur, touch her and cuddle her~. 'I won't miss this opportunity.'

Princess attracted a lot of attention because she was known for her skills and dignity, but when people saw her all smiles and happy they were stunned. Soon rumours spread around the city about the smiling Princess that was more beautiful than those legendary Fairies.

"It's this way, Princess." The Guard's lips twitched.

"Ugh... I never imagined she would make it this far..." The Princess frowned, she was tired from walking during the rain. She was [Fire Cultivator] and hated rain so much. Rain would also make her weaker.

The Guard smiled from ear to ear. "Princess how about training a bit more so you-"

"NO!" She immediately protested and glared at this water-loving maniac, who was also [Water Cultivator].

She clicked her tongue and the Guard spoke again, she really wanted to shut him up, but shut herself up this time.

"We are here, that beast is in this alley." She told her gently.

She sighed. It was a seriously long journey since the rain. She entered the alley to find her little furball, but what she found was something small, much smaller than the beast. She held her laughter in as it looked like a wet cat and observed it.

It was small and shivering, its fur was still black, but in some places creamy. She really wanted to test its fur, but first, she had to make a deal.

"Hey, remember me, little guy?" The Princess smiled and waited for Aiko to observe her.

Aiko saw her but didn't have any strength left in her. She was too cold and hungry. They both stared at each other and Princess was shocked as this beast was heterochromatic! One eye was beautiful light blue, while the other was ruby-like red! She was mesmerized by those eyes and it took her a while to speak.

"How about coming with me? It's warm and nice at my place." The Princess said gently.

Aiko didn't move an inch, she didn't see this as tempting as the Princess had imagined.

The Princess giggled. "We also have plenty of meat~."

It was not the first time she would try to bargain with the beast. She would have to show her the me-

'W-what?!' Both Guard and Princess were shocked as it seemed like the beast understood her.

Aiko's ears were twitching. 'Meat, meat, delicious meat.'

She was still heavy and tired, but one part wasn't.

*Rumble*

Her stomach rumbled out loud announcing her hunger. Aiko stared at the Princess waiting for meat.

The Princess laughed and gave Aiko a small piece of dried meat. While it was dried it was as tasty as the stinky Fox's meat. Aiko gave it a good evaluation and stared at the Princess.

"I will take you with me and take care of you, while you will act all cute and cuddly, okay?" The Princess smiled, my mum will lose this, unfortunately this little beast is just for me~. She giggled at the thought of her mum being sad that she couldn't have this smart beast.

Aiko thought about it for a while but eventually nodded. She needed to eat and this Princess didn't seem all that bad. The shadows also praised her quite well so she would believe them again.

The Princess picked up the beast and the guard was startled.

"Princess please allow me!" The Guard was in distress as the beast was dirty and would dirty the Princess's expensive clothes.

"Then you should've used your [Clean]." She reprimanded him.

"M-my apologies." The Guard swiftly used clean on the beast and on the Princess dress. It was a Traditional Eastern red dress. She really liked these as they were much more modest than the Western ones, where tribes liked to dance half naked, but even then Princess was considered one of the most modest ones in this continent. They never saw her shoulders or ankles naked. A lot of people pursued Princess to collect images of those parts as they would sell for more than this tiny little beast. Moreover, some even slandered her for being so prude, but those people were silenced by the Princes who tried to court her.

They walked throughout the City. The beast was in her arms and she was incredibly happy. It was always better to let the beast experience the city and then bargain with him. She had done it quite a few times and none of the beasts wanted to leave her. She hoped that this little one would be the same, but she realized this little beast's goal was only meat. She smiled at that thought. 'Maybe if I gather enough meat he will stay with me?' She was unaware that it was a female beast, but even if she was aware she wouldn't change anything. She would just cuddle a lot more. Mother reprimanded her for cuddling the male beast, mother told her that when they turned human they would be too attached to her and would want her body, so she was much more careful when handling the various beasts. The beast was fine with it since the treatment, food and pets didn't change much, some intelligent creatures laughed or scuffed at her, but they still stayed.

The City was peaceful, the red rooftops highlighted the richness of this city. This was one of the largest cities in the world and spanned several hundred miles. The centre of this city was for the Royalty so it was functioning well, but most people would not even go for the middle parts of the city because of how far it was, but that was only for mortals. Immortals liked the middle and inner parts since they were much more peaceful and much less dirty than mortals. They had their own shops and privileges and lived in harmony with mortals. They were just really really expensive that most mortals would not approach them, of course that was different for Royalty as they were rich from nearby Sects.

The well-paved road led to incredible fortress walls and behind those walls was a whole palace. It was an incredibly large and beautiful place. The road was paved with white jade and it slightly shined even during the night, illuminating their path home.

The Princess strolled like she owned that place. People bowed towards her left and right and were curious about the little furball in her hands, but they didn't dare to even meet her eyes. While this Princess was quite gentle, she still was strict, but still better than the other Princesses who would whip their servants for the smallest things. That was also why it was difficult to assassinate this Princess as her servants were incredibly loyal!

They arrived at a smaller Palace. Owned by the Princess. She had her own small Palace, which was different from other Princesses, who lived near her Father's Main Palace and bothered him all day. She didn't need to do any of that as she was very rich.

"Princess." The servants bowed.

"Mmmm." Princess hummed entering her place. "Prepare bath, we will have a new cute beast." Princess summed it up. The servants were already used to her antics and didn't say a word. They immediately went to prepare a bath for Princess and the Beast.

"Princess you should check its gender, Queen would be very upset if you bathed with another male beast." The Guard pleaded as it would be his fault and he would be punished.

"It's fine, if it's once nothing will happen. I also didn't feel anything during our walk so chances that it's a boy is close to nil." The Princess coldly rebuked him.

The Guard sighed, preparing for his punishment as he knew this Princess was too stubborn to listen to him.

Princess jumped inside the bath like a child, prompting smiles from nearby servants. Aiko... didn't like water as much since the rain so she was reluctant.

"Come here." The naked Princess picked her up and placed her on her well-developed chest. "You don't have to worry, I won't let you drown." She smiled scratching Aiko's head. Aiko slightly tilted her head as it was really really nice and plopped her head near her neck. Some of the servants already squealed and passed out from the cuteness, while the others passed out from the beauty their princess showcased.

"..." The princess stared at her 'useless' maids that melted into one big puddle. "This... might be an issue." She had already trained half of them to her beauty but didn't the other half as it was very exhausting and time-consuming, but it seemed that this beast was ever more devastating than she was and she pouted. "What am I going to do with you? Everyone will want you like this."

Aiko licked her a few times, she wanted meat, but this bath was not all bad as it soothed her Beast Core, and she would soon be in tip-top shape!

'And meat, give me a lot of it. It also needs to be pure and delicious!' Aiko demanded from the Princess, but the Princess only giggled as she didn't understand what the beast was saying. She just found Aiko incredibly cute and wanted to spoil her.
