Chapter 267 – Aiko wakes up and Systems!

The team settled in a hidden meadow, because for some unknown reason, there were no caves around.

This meadow was still well hidden, so there was no problem with it.

The Blood Fox rarely cooked to not attract attention, but even then some kind of eyes swept past them...

Mei could feel Aiko being quite close to the Fox Village, but for some reason, she did not enter.

She narrowed her eyes and sent her Divine Sense towards Aiko's direction.

Mei found Aiko lazily lying in a fur roll, snoozing like there was no tomorrow.

Her lips twitched. Was she really so terrifying that Aiko would rather sleep outside? She didn't know if that was the real reason why Aiko didn't visit her yet, but she would wait... she would give it a month before storming inside and scolding them.

'There is also another Shadow Fox...' Mei narrowed her eyes, wondering what happened along the journey.

Aiko snorted unhappily since she was bound all around her body. Her body squirmed like a worm to get out of it, but she was too tired to use her full strength.

The Blood Fox and others noticed the stir and looked towards Aiko. It's been half a month since someone 'stared' at them which scared them. They were on the edge for the past month, looking for intruders.

Aiko blinked her eyes lazily and was startled. There were two Yuxis in front of her.

"Aiko." The Blood Fox nuzzled Aiko, now that she was awake they would be able to enter the Fox Village and be safe.

"Mmm." Aiko murmured, not really in the mood for any kind of talk. She curiously stared towards the duo.

'They are like twins.' Aiko blinked her eyes lazily, but only one of them looked at her nicely.

Aiko also felt only one connection, so the other one was someone else.

She yawned slowly and the Blood Fox shuffled meat in front of her. Aiko opened and closed her mouth being fed by the Blood Fox, but her curiosity was still strong.

She stared at the twins for some time before a familiar voice spoke.

"It's great you are alright, Aiko." Yuxi almost cried. It's been such a long time since Aiko fell into a deep slumber.

At first, Yuxi believed that Aiko would wake up soon, but even after 2 months, Aiko was still 'dead' asleep, not stirring up no matter what happened around her.

"Mhm." Aiko murmured again, munching on some tasty meat. She then stared towards the other Yuxi.

"This is Wanshu, she Evolved into this form." Yuxi explained. "She also has some kind of #### system."

Aiko tilted her head. '#### system? Wait, why can't I think about it?!' She was startled that she couldn't name the system.

'I should probably look through my system first...
