Chapter 245 – Aiko is back!
Chapter 245 – Aiko is back!
Aiko wobbled out of the Palace, for some reason she felt incredibly tired. Her body was heavy and she had a hard time keeping herself from falling asleep.
Behind her the Palace burned brightly, she was quite far from the fire, but the heat still reached her.
Aiko could only shake her head as she wobbled outside.
...
{In the west}
"..." The Elder and all Disciples were speechless, except for a certain girl with dice.
She fiddled with them. "Have you seen enough, Elder?" She wasn't really polite, as everything she predicted happened... it was just a bit more severe than she expected...
"Did you predict all of that?" The Elder asked softly. She had a newfound reverence for Divination Cultivators if all of them worked like this...
"No." Bai Jing shook her head. It was pointless to lie about this. "I did not think it would get that out of hand." She confessed.
The Elder pursed her lips; deep in thought.
She looked around as the Disciples watched the carnage that the Elders from the other Sects were creating.
"This city will fall, we should return and report this to the Sect Leader." The Elder was gentle with all Disciples. Not because they were good, but because Bai Jing was part of said Disciples.
She wanted to appease this little star so she would stay with their Sect. This would allow them to prosper for many years to come, but they would also have to fork out many resources for her.
They didn't want her to be bribed by other Sects once the word spread.
"Let's rest for a bit more before we leave." The Elder smiled gently.
...
{At the meadow}
The Blood Fox played a special game with the Mirage Fox nipples. It was a game about how many needles she could stick into them before they would completely rip apart.
His left nipple was only able to endure 46 needles before it ripped, but the right one was much better at 63 needles.
The Mirage Fox was trying to thrash around and scream, but since his mouth was gagged, only gibberish and muffled screams spread.
Meanwhile, Umbra was creating a work of art! At incredible, 2436 needles, she made his dick into a porcupine and it was a gross sight to behold!
It was impressive how accurate she was and how much pain she caused to the Mirage Fox.
Not only was he thrashing around, but thanks to their tender care, his eyes were completely bloodshot. It was unbelievable how large his eyes were and how many veins they could count.
"It's quite creepy how he looks at us..." Umbra said gently.
"Then let's just give his eyes the same treatment." The Blood Fox shrugged. She didn't really care about how he stared at her, but since they would torture him, she might as well go all out.
"Good idea!" Umbra gave the Blood Fox a thumbs up.
Hearing this, the Mirage Fox's body shook violently. He was desperately trying to get away from these lunatics, but he was very well-tied and could not escape their grasp.
"Will you hold his eyelids?" Umbra asked gently.
"Sure, but we will switch on the other one, you can't have all the fun." The Blood Fox nudged Umbra.
"En~" Umbra hummed and picked up the needles.
The Mirage Fox tried to protect his body with his Beast Core, but the duo had already learned how to insert their own Energy into the needles.
This pretty much allowed them to bypass most of the Mirage Fox's defences. They did have to break 500 or so needles, but it was all worth it for this very situation.
They smiled like grim reapers and the Mirage Fox kept shouting at the top of his limited lungs, but no matter how much he screamed, the Shadow Passion didn't arrive.
He cursed her repeatedly, but since his means of communication were cut... he was unable to call her and scream for help.
The duo worked on his eyes, poking them, stirring them, making it as painful as possible.
"You can't die from eyes, right?" Umbra suddenly asked, concerned that they would lose their fun.
"Don't worry, as long as we are careful it will be fine." The Blood Fox said gently, reassuring Umbra.
"Okay." Umbra nodded and kept working on the holes that she was creating in his eyes, he now looked closer to a bloody spider's eyes than Fox's.
After she was finished, they could see foam from his mouth, but that didn't stop the Blood Fox. She played with the other eye and his body kept twitching and spamming, which they both ignored.
The intense hatred and rage inside them were ever so slowly dying down, but it was not quick enough. They wanted more! Torture him more, and humiliate him more, until they noticed a strange light.
"What's wrong with the Capital?" Umbra asked, interrupting the Blood Fox.
The Blood Fox looked towards the direction of the Capital and frowned.
"It's burning." She was concerned about Aiko. She was not yet used to the positions through the Contract.
"She is somewhat close to the Capital, but not so close she would be completely inside?" Umbra tilted her head. Even she had a hard time understanding where Aiko was exactly.
"Should we go pick her up?" The Blood Fox asked.
"Keep watch over him, I'm more used to the Contract, so it will be easier for me to find Aiko." Umbra said somewhat quickly.
"Sure, take some supplies with you, just in case." The Blood Fox poked Umbra.
"I already have them." Umbra pouted. She didn't like being treated like a child.
The Blood Fox giggled. "Are you sure~?"
"Just because I have copied Mistress's behaviour doesn't mean I'm a child!" Umbra pouted even more, somewhat upset at the Blood Fox.
"Sure, sure." The Blood Fox petted Umbra.
Umbra clicked her tongue, but did not reject that gentle touch.
Umbra dashed away after the Blood Fox was finished. The lingering warmth was nice and it was no wonder that Aiko played cute... petting was really nice.
There were no hiccups along the way, no pursuers or Beasts. What she did notice was the terrifying pressure coming from the Capital.
"Are they trying to destroy the Capital?!" Umbra frowned and dashed quickly towards where Aiko was.
She noticed Aiko's wobbling figure and stopped in front of her.
"Are you alright, Mistress?!" Umbra cried out seeing Aiko in that state.
"Sleepy, carry me." Aiko whined softly, obviously exhausted.
"What happened?" Umbra gently picked up the little Aiko and carefully carried her.
"I don't know..." Aiko whined. "I retrieved the liquid, but then my paw was injured and now I'm tired..." She whined very slowly, clearly exhausted.
Umbra was inspecting Aiko, but no matter how she looked, Aiko did not have any injuries.
"What happened to the Capital?" Umbra asked as she carried Aiko back.
"I set the Palace ablaze, so it's easier to steal the Princess and corpses. There were too many Cultivators, so distraction was needed." Aiko explained.
Umbra pursed her lips, but didn't say anything. It was so like Aiko to do something like that as a distraction, but thanks to it almost everything seemed to go well.
Umbra exchanged a few more words with Aiko before they arrived.
"Back?" The Blood Fox was still playing with the Mirage Fox's body.
"Aiko is tired for some reason, can you look at her?" Umbra asked in worry.
The Blood Fox immediately dropped what she was doing. Aiko was a priority above all else and it would be worrisome if something happened to her.
The Blood Fox investigated Aiko's body, but the more she searched, the more speechless she was.
"If I'm correct, Aiko is completely packed with that liquid." The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes.
"So there is nothing wrong?" Umbra was about to breathe a sigh of relief when the Blood Fox kept talking.
"Not quite." The Blood Fox shook her head. "She is packed with so much Energy that she is almost breaking through on instinct."
Umbra's lips tightened. "What?"
"She is evolving." The Blood Fox repeated.
"Huh?" Umbra felt like she heard incorrectly. Aiko and evolving? Here? So close to the Capital? You are joking, right?
"Yes, it seems she will evolve soon." The Blood Fox narrowed her eyes. "In a few hours of time."
"We need to hurry!" Umbra only heard of the disasters Aiko caused, but she didn't tempt fate, especially so close to the Capital.
"I will carry the Mirage Fox. You can carry Aiko." The Blood Fox gestured. "We also need to alert Wanshu, so she is not caught."
"I will notify her, let's start running!" Umbra immediately dashed away.
"En." The Blood Fox nodded and grabbed the tied rope around the Mirage Fox.
She didn't want to keep him close to her body since he was completely bloodied and there were too many needles inside his body. She didn't want to get accidentally prickled.
The Blood Fox dashed near Wanshu. "There is no time, we need to run and find somewhere safe."
Wanshu was shocked. "There are some mountains nearby that are hard to invade." She immediately tried to help her Umbra.
"Lead the way!" Umbra shouted.
"Okay!" Wanshu ran towards that direction.
The Blood Fox joined them soon after with the bloodied Mirage Fox.
Wanshu didn't look back, but considering the whimpers and muffled cries, it seemed like the duo was quick at work.
"It's about an hour from here at this pace." Wanshu said.
"Umbra, we will swap once we arrive under the mountain." The Blood Fox said. "Create as many traps as possible so we can defend this place!"
"Yes!" Umbra immediately agreed, as that was her plan.
"Aiko also had a Storage Pouch in her Tails. The Princess is probably inside so we will temporarily let her out so that she doesn't die inside." Umbra said in a hurry.
"I will manage." The Blood Fox said.
"What should I do?" Wanshu asked.
"Go with Umbra and secure the traps and other things. We might need to sacrifice our weapons and tools that have Qi, so only keep what is truly necessary!" The Blood Fox said.
"Is it that bad?!" Wanshu was shocked.
"It's much worse than what you are imagining!" The Blood Fox was short of breath.
"We are almost there!" Wanshu sweated.
