Yuan shook his head and sighed, "While I appreciate your thoughtfulness, it was unnecessary and undermined my existence. Leave. I don't need your assistance."

"You…" Kelan's expression quickly turned angry. He couldn't believe he was being lectured by the very person he had just saved.

After a moment of silence, the Immortal began trembling, his face flushed red, turning into a tomato.

Meanwhile, several individuals far away from the Purple Sea sensed the distinct aura of the Immortal's Qi.

"Who's there?!" Kelan frantically looked around but couldn't sense anyone.

'To avoid my detection, they must be a God Ascension Realm expert! What the hell is going on right now?!' he cried inwardly.

The distraction rendered Kelan unable to save Yuan, his mind already racing to formulate excuses for when he would have to report Yuan's death to Senior Bai.
