Chapter 1420 Progress Over the Past Year (1)
"Looks like it's finally time for that competition to start… I hope that the Blue Sea Empire won't send out any of their Celestial Immortal Realm Ancestor to observe…" Muttering this to himself as he was informed by Elder Song about his request to have him oversee the competition as an elder of the Sect, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit uneasy when he thought about the fact that there might be someone at the Celestial Immortal Realm present to try and gauge the strength of the Star Shattering Sect and whether or not it was a hidden ancient sect.
Although he felt confident in his ability to disguise his own strength with his current comprehension of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he was ultimately not familiar with the abilities of someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm and flaws he was unaware of might give away the fact that his current cultivation realm was nowhere near the Celestial Immortal Realm or Profound Immortal Realm at the moment. Nôv(el)B\\jnn
At least, if it was someone below the Celestial Immortal Realm, it would be rather simple to disguise his strength as someone above the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) because of his Late Stage Dao Domain Lord Realm cultivation base far surpassing the understanding and strength of any Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) cultivator in the Blue Sea Empire.
In the eyes of someone like that, his current cultivation would be no different from that of someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm. Especially so if he displayed his mastery over the Dao of Space.
After all, the Dao of Space was well known as one of the hardest Daos to comprehend and having reached the Large Success Realm in the Dao of Space was more than enough to convince most that his cultivation realm had surpassed the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm).
Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao slowly got up before making his way out of his cultivation room in the direction of the Falling Star City.
Over the past year, he had managed to improve his comprehension of the Dao of Formations and had successfully managed to elevate it to the Large Success Realm. In the process, he also came to understand the process of setting up permanent teleportation formations.
Though he had not yet started the process of setting up these teleportation formations throughout the territory of the sect, several smaller scale teleportation formations had already been set up throughout the Shattered Star Peaks. Allowing the disciples with lower cultivation to more easily travers the Shattered Star Peaks, something more than welcome to these disciples, as under normal circumstances, it would take several hours for a disciple in the Foundation Establishment Realm to travel between the Seventh Star Peak and the Falling Star City.
Not just that, but to ensure that there wasn't a loss in terms of spirit stones for the Star Shattering Sect when using these teleportation formations, he had linked them together with the chaotic qi formation. Allowing part of the qi refined through the formation to be used on operating the teleportation formations inside of the Shattered Star Peaks.
Although this did affect the qi entering the Shattered Star Peaks, it wasn't much and was close to negligible. Not affecting the current state of the Shattered Star Peaks in the slightest.
Only when Soul Ascension Realm cultivators started becoming more common in the sect would he have to consider upgrading the chaotic qi formation, as the consumption of spiritual qi for cultivation would end up surpassing what was currently flowing into the Shattered Star Peaks through the chaotic qi formation.
Whoosh~
Leaving his cultivation room with these thoughts in mind, Xuan Hao could not help taking a look at the status of his disciples while making his way towards the closest teleportation formation that would take him directly to the base of the Ninth Star Peak. Located just inside the boundary of the chaotic qi formation.
✧ First Disciple, Qing Yi ✧ Race: Human Talent: 45 Dao: Dao of Fire (Domain), Dao of Alchemy (Pseudo Domain) Potential Dao: Dao of Fire, Dao of Wind, Dao of Light, Dao of Space, Dao of Alchemy Physique: Bright Sun Divine Physique (Peak Stage, Small Sun Realm) Realm: Sixth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm Profession: Alchemy (Master Realm) Cultivation Mantra: Heaven Burning Mantra First up was Qing Yi, who had managed to go from the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm to the Sixth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm over the short period of a year… And although her alchemy didn't show any signs of progress beyond the master realm, Xuan Hao understood that she was only a step away from the Peak of the Master Realm. Having focused most of her time on improving her alchemy over the past year, while being guided both by him and Pei Yang.
Next up was Chu Yang, the one who had by far shown the most improvements over the past year.
✧ Second Disciple, Chu Yang ✧ Race: Human Talent: 57 Dao: Dao of the Spear (Domain) Potential Dao: Dao of Earth, Dao of Blood, Dao of Slaughter, Dao of Death Physique: No Special Physique Recommended Physique: Six Paths of Slaughter Divine Physique (Can be refined) Realm: Peak Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm Cultivation Mantra: Soul Spear Divine Mantra Not only had he somehow managed to reach the Later Stage of the Domain Lord Realm in the short time of a year, but he was somehow also at the Peak of the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Close to entering the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Surpassing even his cultivation speed when he had been in the Domain Lord Realm.
All of this made him wonder just what this disciple of his had been up to over the past year, as he was still somewhere in the core region of the continent adventuring on his own.
Although part of him wanted to check up on this second disciple of his, he also understood that it would be bad for him to leave the sect at the current moment.
Not to mention, it didn't look like there was anything he had to worry about regarding this disciple, as he seemed to be doing just fine on his own.
The only worrying thing was that the power he had secretly hidden inside of his body had already been triggered on several occasions over the past year and looked like it barely had enough strength for a single attack left.
Then again, this disciple of his should have learnt when to retreat and not get involved in something beyond his abilities at this point in time… Well… Hopefully he had…
