Crazy Martial Arts Sovereign

Chapter 20

C20 – Kill Qiao Ping!

Qiao Ping sneered incessantly. To him, Qiao Mao was nothing but a weakling, and the Qiao family in Martial Sun City were no more significant than a swarm of ants. His brazenness knew no bounds.

Yet, Qiao Ping failed to notice the intense aura of murderous intent emanating from Qiao Mao. This aura stunned both the Fire Rock Python and the middle-aged guard.

“How can this be? How can he possess such powerful murderous intent? He’s like a demon!” one of the middle-aged men exclaimed in horror.

Fear filled the eyes of the Fire Rock Python.

“Do you intend to exterminate every member of the Qiao family in Martial Sun City?” Qiao Mao asked, his voice deliberate and heavy. His eyes were bloodshot, his murderous intent palpable. Visions of a bloody battlefield loomed behind him, and he stood as an Asura, emerging from a bath of blood.

This was the mark of Qiao Mao’s past life, buried deep within his soul, now awakened.

In that past life, he had investigated the matter but to no avail. He had even ventured to Fallen Cloud Valley in search of his father, only to return without even finding his father’s remains. It was a lifelong regret.

Reborn, Qiao Mao’s foremost desire was to safeguard every member of the Qiao family in Martial Sun City and to find his father, thereby healing the wounds of his past. But Qiao Ping’s declaration to slaughter the entire Qiao family in Martial Sun City was utterly unforgivable.

Qiao Mao’s Achilles’ heel was his family. So, when Qiao Ping uttered those words, the thought of killing Qiao Ping and his father surged within Qiao Mao.

Seeing Qiao Mao’s bloodshot gaze, Qiao Ping scoffed, “You think you can kill me, you waste of space? Every member of the Qiao family in Martial Sun City is a sinner! Our mercy has been more than sufficient in allowing you to live this long.”

Qiao Mao retorted with a sneer, “You speak of extermination, yet you claim to be merciful?”

“Yes, I am merciful. If you kneel and bow your head to me quickly, making me happy, I might just spare you. But your mother and your uncle, they must die,” Qiao Ping declared arrogantly.

Qiao Mao could no longer contain the murderous intent brewing within him. With a forceful stomp on the ground, he harnessed the rebounding force to charge at Qiao Ping.

“Young Master!” exclaimed the two mid-age martial artists in shock.

They surged forward in an attempt to shield Qiao Ping. But Qiao Mao’s sudden assault, coupled with the intimidating aura of his killing intent, left them a step behind. Qiao Mao seized Qiao Ping by the throat and hoisted him into the air.

The two mid-age martial artists were horrified and urgently cried out, “Qiao Mao, what are you doing? Release Qiao Ping at once! Kneel and beg for mercy! Otherwise, every member of the Qiao family in Martial Sun City will perish.”

Should any harm befall Qiao Ping, they would be held accountable. Even if they managed to return to their clan, execution awaited them.

“Let go of me, you bastard! I am the clan’s young master. Do you have any idea of the consequences you’ll face for crossing me?”

“What consequences? I’m afraid I’m not aware,” Qiao Mao replied with an icy smirk.

In Qiao Ping’s view, he was the esteemed young master, while Qiao Mao was merely a branch member of the Qiao family in Martial Sun City. Surely, Qiao Mao wouldn’t dare harm him.

“Qiao Mao, you’ve provoked me! Just so you know, my father has already dispatched a master to Martial Sun City. Soon, all the men of the Qiao family here will be subjected to death by a thousand cuts, their bodies displayed on the city walls. The women will have their legs broken and be sold into brothels,” Qiao Ping hissed venomously.

“Given your cruelty, I simply cannot allow you to live,” Qiao Mao stated coldly. With that, he tightened his grip, ending Qiao Ping’s life.

“You’ve actually killed Young Master Qiao Ping!”

The two middle-aged guards were consumed with rage. They had been tasked with protecting Qiao Ping, and his death signified their own doom.

Qiao Mao remained indifferent to their plight. He gave them a chilling glance, his aura of menace undiminished. With a contemptuous snort, he turned his attention to the cowering Fire Rock Python.

The Fire Rock Python’s cultivation level was on par with a human at the Mortality Transcending Level Seven Heaven Peak, making it a formidable creature. Though its spiritual awareness was not fully awakened, it instinctively knew to avoid peril, hence it refrained from attacking Qiao Mao.

This is where low-level Demonic Beasts differ from humans. When threatened, these creatures are prone to submission.

“Help me eliminate these two,” Qiao Mao conveyed through his thoughts.

The Fire Rock Python, now intimidated by Qiao Mao, saw him as akin to a Beast King. It dared not defy Qiao Mao and promptly launched an assault on the two men.

The Fire Rock Python’s onslaught was more savage than ever, its powerful strikes descending like a tempest, overwhelming the two Mid-age Martial Artists. They were quickly marred with wounds oozing blood.

Qiao Mao’s intent to kill remained unabated. Suddenly, the Profound Iron Bow materialized in his hands. Channeling Spiritual Energy, he formed a Spiritual Energy Arrow.

The arrow, shimmering with a green radiance and laden with Qiao Mao’s boundless murderous aura, was akin to a harbinger of death.

Releasing the bowstring, the Spiritual Energy Arrow sped forth, piercing the heart of one man before detonating.

“Go and consume him,” Qiao Mao commanded the Fire Rock Python.

The massive serpent swiftly coiled towards its prey, its gaping maw engulfing the body whole. Together with Qiao Mao, it proceeded to slay and devour the other individual.

Only after the two were dispatched did Qiao Mao withdraw his aura of malevolence.

As Qiao Ping had warned before his demise, a formidable master had arrived in Martial Sun City, their strength an enigma to all.

Since his rebirth, Qiao Mao had been fervently enhancing his cultivation, yet he still deemed his current level insufficient. He then turned his attention to the Fire Rock Python.

The serpent, now tamed by Qiao Mao, would heed any command he gave. “How would you like to become my Demonic Pet? I assure you, you’ll be well-compensated for your loyalty,” Qiao Mao proposed to the Fire Rock Python.

Shortly after, Qiao Mao received a message from the Fire Rock Python. Though somewhat unclear, the message conveyed its agreement to Qiao Mao’s proposal.

Qiao Mao quickly drew a pattern on the ground, a skill from his previous life that he had fortuitously acquired from the Nether Clan. This pattern was used to forge contracts with Demonic Pets.

Once the contract was established, Qiao Mao could communicate telepathically with the Fire Rock Python. Moreover, he could exert control over the Fire Rock Python through the contract’s power, able to reduce it to dust with a mere thought should he wish its demise.

The Fire Rock Python’s prowess had reached the Mortality Transcending Level Seven Heaven Peak, significantly bolstering Qiao Mao’s own capabilities.

Having bound the Fire Rock Python to the contract, Qiao Mao’s attention shifted to the Magma Pool. He pondered, “Why is there a scent of Fire Sand Crystal Essence emanating from the Magma Pool?”
