Chapter 72 – Kurenai Report*

With Kurenai falling asleep after our intense activity I gathered our clothes thrown around, cleaned Kurenai a bit with towels stashed in a scroll, and gently carried a rashly clothed Kurenai as I sneaked us through the outskirts of Konoha to my house.

We made it unseen to my abode and while thinking of what to do I decided to set up a bath for the both of us.

In an isolated courtyard surrounded by corridors and rooms belonging to my mansion, I had several baths prepared in multiple sizes.

With a small pump system connected to a well to draw water into a top where it is heated, it takes my clones 30 minutes working together to heat the water for our bath.

I need to learn fire nature transformation just to make this step faster in the future.
Until now I had been relying on Anko to heat the water in seconds for our baths using her [Dragon Fire Technique].

Once the bath is ready I bring Kurenai with me to soak and clean ourselves inside the comfortable water. I'll just throw all the water out afterward as usual.

We soak in the bath for 10 minutes Kurenai finally eyes slowly open.

Feeling completely satisfied and refreshed in the morning Kurenai had a final training day with me.

It was surprising, that the illusionism skill I got from Kurenai focused on making the creation of illusions a natural and intuitive process.

Before I had to constantly think about even the tiniest of details I needed to send as a chakra genjutsu or an electrical signal, thanks to Kurenai the creation and alteration of illusionary spaces became complete second nature to me.

Maybe this is what being a genjutsu genius feels like, I can not only easily think of the picture I want to show in my head, but my subconscious naturally fills out the minor details, complementing my vision perfectly.

As for what Kurenai got, she didn’t feel any difference in her genjutsu so we left it to another day to find out.
