Classless Reincarnation

Chapter 83 Boulder Of Omnipotence!

"Excuse me... WHAT?!"

"The teacher didn't even use his gravity magic!" Jack complained, looking peeved.

The nearby girls gasped in disbelief. Everyone else feared Karo the Punisher, yet he was eager for more?! This was why they came to visit, for those crazy stories!

There were currently two factions in the girl dormitory.

1. The ones who totally hated Jack's gut. They had even started a petition to get him kicked out, only to be told to take a hike.

2. The ones who were his fans. To them, he was the destructive breath of fresh air they had awaited for so long. They'd listen to his stories, bringing snacks as offerings.

"Gasp! Everyone else fears him... yet you want more?! Damn! In your place, I would have still been agonizing over the entrance exams, but here you are--"

"Entrance exams?" Jack interrupted, confused.

Entrance exams? What entrance exams? He had seen the term in the school booklet, but it didn't concern him, right? He was already a student, after all.

"WAIT?! Don't tell me you didn't do them?! Did you register for it at least?!" One of his room neighbors exclaimed in shock, Jack rubbing his head puzzled.

"Quick! There's no time to waste! We gotta get you signed up ASAP! Otherwise, those stuck-up bitches will get exactly what they want: you'll be expelled!"

As they departed in a hurry, they explained everything to him.

"Entrance" Tests were still called that, even for exceptional VIP admission cases. They were mandatory to check students' initial level, so their progress could be recorded.

Didn't this mean he was akin to a licenceless driver speeding through the Academy's highway?! Still, wasn't it strange how no one had warned him about it?

Just as Jack was feeling doubtful...

"It's here! It's in the corner of the Gym!"

They had arrived at a large building that reminded him of a coliseum. He wouldn't have batted an eye if roman gladiators and lions suddenly erupted out of it!

While the place looked grandiose, it definitely served its purpose. Many of the students coming out of it looked so exhausted that they seemed like zombies.

"Will they be alright?"

"Probably? After how we lost at the competition, it wouldn't surprise me if many are pushing themselves over their limits." One of his guides sighed.

"Talking about the competition, you missed one hell of an event! It's not every day that we fight the other schools. Heck, even people from Stormlanding and Everfrost were visiting!"

The girls enthusiastically babbled about the whole thing. Their enthusiasm was contagious, Jack almost wanting to listen to them for hours. But he now had far more pressing issues.

"Tell me more about the exams!"

"Oh, don't worry, you'll be fine! As long as you don't miss them altogether, that is-- You're a genius after all!" A girl happily chirped.

At this moment, only Aisha and Lizzy understood his pain. No matter the test, he'd have to assign a significant amount of his Mana to keep his Evil Body going!

Still, unable to explain, he could only follow after his guides as they showed him the Gym, which seemed rather popular, with people training all over the place.

"This is the Magic Range-- The target dummies here are near indestructible!"

"This is the Running Field -- You can also add deadly obstacles to it."

"This is the Pool -- Beware of the tiny Krakens; they're pervs!"

"This is the duel arena...."

This place really had some budget!-- Or perhaps he was that much of a country bumpkin. Compared to this, his training with his foxes had been BASIC!

Then they finally reached the "VIP entrance test office". Not only was it tiny, but it probably had more mops than visitors. To say the least, it really wasn't what Jack would have expected.

"T-This... isn't this a storage closet?!" Jack remarked, baffled.

"Well yeah. Just think about it, most VIPs prefer to take the entrance test when it's held publicly. This way, they can show off to the world and bring fame to their faction."

That both made sense... and was quite sad for Dawn City's future. If everyone only cared about showing off, then god knows how quickly they'd fall!-- not that he cared.

| VIP Entrance Test! Ding for Help! |

There was a minuscule mini bell next to it, his guides ready to mash the hell out of it! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! The chimes were faint... yet resonated across the entire Gym?!

The various "gym rats" suddenly all seemed to hold their breath, glaring their way. A challenger! When had this last happened?! They kept looking on curiously.

As for what the bell had done...

A man appeared at the other end of the Gym, a mop and bucket in hand, as he rushed over with Hermes' speed. "Move out, move out, on official business!!!" He kept screaming.

As he finally arrived near them, out of breath...

"Pant. Pant. Now, who's here for an entrance exam? Ah, also, if you guys were just messing around with the bell, then I'll take this mop and shove it high up your--"

Jack confidently stepped forward.

"You? Fine, that works. Follow me! Let's get you tested!" The man neither asked his name nor to prove his identity. Nope, right into action! He even seemed REALLY excited about it.

He brought them toward a courtyard, one with a huge boulder in the middle. The thing looked so massive, yet so fluffy, giving one the impression of a gigantic marshmallow.

"This will be the first test out of a series of five. Now, don't get cocky even if you've already been accepted as a student. After all, if you can't even pass this, you're fucked!"

The man chuckled heartily, pointing to the thing.

"This is the Boulder of Omnipotence. Your goal is to bash the shit out of it. As long as you manage to chip it, you're fine!" He diligently explained as Jack entered the room.

Meanwhile, his "cheerleaders" already encouraged him: "You can do it! Make that boulder cry! You're the BEST! You'll-- Gasp!"... He had barely stepped inside when the ceiling fell!

Stalactites, LOTS of them, all landing in a large circle around him, as if to trap him into an arena. With them, he suddenly felt his power diminish sharply. Was this a seal?!

Just as he was wondering, the Old Ghost chimed in.

"This thing will seal your magic power. This... is only a test of your physique! Still, lucky your Evil God Body is Ancient, or it would have long reverted! Now, give it your all, kid!"

Physique, was it?

So he couldn't use a Weapon or Regular Magic? Fine! He'd show them!

Jack focused. He needed to use as much technique and power at once, right? He solidly planted his feet on the ground, using his entire Body to deliver the blow.

"F-FAlCON P*UNCH!"

His fist flew with incredible momentum.

Then it finally crashed into the target! The thing didn't stand any chance as it was slammed with Jack's full power! The poor boulder could only.... Jiggle?!

There was no scratch on it, yet he felt his hand crack. As his blood smeared all over the damn thing, it jiggled once again. That was it...

By the side, his cheerleaders gave him forceful "reassuring" smiles that looked more like grimaces. As for the instructor, he was nothing things down, frowning.

"Two jiggles, no crack." The man noted.

What kind of rating system was this?! More importantly, he had failed, that much obvious by the man's reaction. "Wait, let me try again!!" Jack asked, the latter nodding.

This was a waste of time, but it was easier to show the youngster than to teach him. Thus, he remained mum as Jack went into position again.

"So, kid, what's your plan?" The Old Ghost remarked.

"I'm gonna burn enough Mana to obliterate this freaking thing!" Jack cursed, all the while gathering his energy. At the same time, he kept a close watch on his Mana.

90%, 84%, 77%; he was burning through it so fast!

Then he drove it all inside his fist.

All the rage he felt at seeing the thing jiggle without a worry in the world.... Was now converted into his power! This was the Evil God's Body's true form! And yet...

"That won't do, kid. There's not enough power in it. You'll just waste your ti-- WHAT THE HELL?!"

Jack's fist once again drew an arc in the air, it once again crashed on its target, and it once again destroyed his damn hand. But this time, it was WAY more powerful!

-- CRASH! SHATTER! CRUSH! --

But even then, all that happened were a few jiggles and Jack destroying his hand, bone shards flying everywhere over the target. But just as it all seemed pointless...

NOW! That's when it happened...

"I am the Bone of my Fist!" Jack mumbled, just as his hand burst into bone shards! They flew like hidden weapons, crashing into the Squishy Boulder!

As soon as it did...

-- PIERCE! Whimper! Whimper! --

"Wait, did that boulder just cry out in pain?!" A crowd had already gathered. This thing was alive?! What the heck was it?! More importantly, what did this mean?!
