Chapter 224: [BONUS] Joie!

'This… this is amazing.' Draco thought in disbelief. The amount of power he could feel circulating within him was beyond what he ever thought possible.

Who would have thought?

'Who would have thought worldly phenomena were this broken?!' Draco smiled evilly.

Opening his eyes, he looked at the deva tree in front of him and without a single word… appeared in front of it.

"Let's see… what kind of deva should I make?" Draco pondered. His question seemed crazy and stupid, but he was indeed capable of creating devas with but a single thought.

And not only that, through the amalgamation of beliefs he received and was still receiving at this very moment, he could shape and form any deva he wanted, and customize something even more fearsome than the gomen could even become with a flick of his finger.

"Let's start with something simple…" Draco pointed his finger towards the tree and with but a single thought, a branch slowly wriggled out from the tree and then a vine fell from it, After that, the vine circled around itself to form a ball and in but a few seconds, the ball turned golden with slight streaks of white.

'Fate'

Indeed. What Draco was planning on making was the deva of fate, and he was not planning on ending it there. No, he was going to bring back a character that had long given up on life and never thought that he would be back again.

"Oh and I shouldn't forget." Circling his fingers for a second, Draco made a motion as if he were throwing something at the fruit by pointing at it, and then the fruit that was golden with streaks of white had dark streaks as well, forming an abomination that shouldn't have been there.

"A deva fruit with 2 authorities. I wonder how it will turn out." Draco said with a smile.

"Let us get this out of the way." Not planning on waiting years for the fruit to bloom, Draco drowned it in the limitless divinity that was being endlessly absorbed by him to speed up the process.

*Fwshhhh*

While the devas and celestials stood a distance away, not understanding what Draco was doing with their mother tree, the fruit that was only made a couple seconds ago riped rapidly and started throbbing as if it wanted to explode.

*BOOOOM*

And explode it did.

A flash of gold and suffocating darkness broke out before a being of unknown properties appeared from the blinding explosion.

"I praise the lord." The second the deva of fate and hatred gazed upon Draco, his instinct as a byproduct of a summon made him bow down his head.

"Good." Draco nodded.

"About time I get you out here." Draco suddenly spoke, making the newly born deva raise his head, His faceless figure wanted to express confusion but could not.

Draco pointed his figure for the last time and an invisible whisp that resembled a ghostly ball accumulated around the tip of his sharp nails.

"Come back… Fate." Draco launched the ball at the deva while speaking and the second it reached the deva's head, it entered it seemlessly and, in a span of a few seconds, fused with it, making the being stand still in his place.

"Hmm…" Draco watched curiously. The deva hadn't moved since the memories and soul of Fate were sent to integrate with him, but after a few moments, the being started to weirdly transform.

Shining white hair exploded out of the deva's head, reaching all the way down his bowing back. The golden figure that was decorated with dark tattoos all over started to change, becoming more human-like but keeping the dark engravings, which started to have dots of gold all around.

The deva changed slowly, returning to the old appearance of the celestial of Fate, and by the time it was done, Fate looked up at Draco.

"Who would have thought…" He smiled warmly, his pearly white teeth brightening his face.

"Oh my, I didn't think you would be so happy over returning to life." Draco crossed his hands and spoke, his face showing confusion.

"Why wouldn't I be? I thought that death would be the end of me; it turns out it wasn't. I have to thank you for that once more, Draco Valenstein." Fate bowed once again to Draco before he got up.

"Don't get me wrong, I did not do it out of pity for you." Draco stated, his face showing genuine nonchalance.

"Does it matter? All I care about is that I'm back to life." Fate said, summoning a white robe to cover his naked figure with but a thought.

"Where are we?" Fate asked, looking around.

"You see those guys over there? Go ask them, I have things to do." Draco pointed towards Yapa and the celestials.

"Haha, really now? Alright, I will go. But I don't think my weak body will allow me to leave this island." Fate smiled again while stating. He was once again but an F-rank.

True, he was a deva with ridiculous stats that could bring down an army of SSS-ranks, but that didn't mean much.

Draco, however, didn't bother with Fate anymore. He vanished from his spot and left him alone.

Fate just looked at this and smiled again, then he looked around once more, trying to enjoy this new opportunity at life he was given.

He was definitely never going to forget the favor Draco has given him.

A few seconds after Draco's disappearance, the celestials and devas appeared around Fate and looked at him.

"What a peculiar being… What is your name, brother?" Light seized Fate up and down.

"… I guess I can't be called Fate anymore, huh? Call me Joie; I wish to experience and bring joy in this endless journey they call life." Joie stretched his hand towards Light, who returned the handshake.

"Very well, Joie. I am Light. I will show you what you have to do to reach our level." Light stated.

"I'm looking forward to that."
