Chapter 213: Palkus’ Journey! 20
{Valenstein Celestial Swordsmanship: Chaos Death}
"GROAAAAAAR!"
*Fwshhh* *SLASH* *BOOOOOM*
"Amazing as always, Palkus!" Allan and the group approached Palkus, who had just managed to bring down an SSS-rank rogue dragon.
This was the next quest they had done together and the young man once again managed to bring down their enemy.
"It was nothing too hard. Good job to you all too." Palkus turned around and stored his sword before smiling and complimenting the others.
Since this time the enemy wasn't an EX-rank, the entire party cooperated to take down the enemy.
The group was currently close to a mountainous area on the forest to the other side of the oen they went to the last time.
"Crazy!" Adena looked in front of her at the mountain that was split in two and crazed smile appeared on her face as she shouted.
Behind them was the forest and in front of them was a wide clearing that went until a large lake. On the other side of the lake was the massive mountain that Palkus had just slashed in two alongside the now-dead rogue Aqua Dragon.
"Let me store the body really quick." Palkus said, raising his hand to take the large corpse of the dragon into his {Chaos Storage}
Their enemy this time wasn't one of the dragon race that terrorized the world, no, it was a breed between dragon's and wyverns that was so close to dragons they couldn't give it any other name, but they did call them rogue dragons due to their violent tendencies.
"Ah, the mission this time was so easy~" Lorea stored her staff and stretched her hands above her head, almost making her hat fall.
"Yeah!" Tuskina, who was next to her brother, replied with a wide smile, dirt covering the lady's body from the crazy battle they had just gone through.
"Master, master~ pat me!" Allan's wind spirit, Karga, flew towards her master, who was closer to Palkus and asked for her reward. Allan just smiled helplessly and gently tapped the spirit's head. Thankfully, Donald the penguin wasn't out today.
"We should go back." Looking back at his party, Allan said.
"Yeah, let's go." Lorea turned around and started walking back towards the city.
"Allan, I won't be here next mission, I have something to do." Laff, seeing that the group was going back, waited for his party leader to approach and inform him.
"Alright, sure. If you need anything, you know where to find me." Allan looked at him with a smile and said.
"Yeah, thanks." Laff replied and looked in front of him.
"So~" Behind the group, Tuskas, along his sister, walked closer to Palkus and started speaking.
"Hmm?" Palkus, looking at the siblings with their smiles, guessed that they wanted to ask him something.
"What is it?" He asked.
"No, nothing…" Tuskas laughed and looked in front of him.
"I just heard that you were having a good time with our dear receptionist, Emily, a few days ago." He added.
"Huh?" Palkus, not understanding how the group managed to find out, opened his eyes wide.
"Haha, you don't know how fast information travels in our continent, Palkus." Tuskina put her hand on her mouth and chuckled, looking extra cute with the dirt on her face.
"What? You got together with the receptionist?" Adena, who was in front of the group, heard the news and turned to face Palkus.
"Uh… yeah." Palkus, not knowing what to say, replied.
"What's this? Our rogue loli is interested?" Lorea, spotting a chance to make fun of Adena, jumped in.
"Hey guys, it's inappropriate to butt in someone's business." Allan turned to face his group and said.
"Yeah, I'd rather not talk about it." Palkus added, letting everybody know that he wasn't comfortable with his private life being talked about this way.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know you wouldn't like it." Tuskas, hearing Palkus' words, apologized.
"No, it's fine; it's nothing too uncomfortable. I just like keeping stuff like this to myself." Palkus replied with a smile.
And the group continued their way back to the city, with Adena sneaking a couple glances at Palkus, who managed to catch her a few times and Lorea getting closer to Allan before the two started chatting and laughing together.
"Since Laff won't be here for a while, we will use this chance to take a break after so long, after all, we have had so much work these days." Once the group was in front of the city once again, Allan announced.
"Alright! Brother, we can go check out the fam." Hearing Allan's words, Tuskina had a smile on her face before she hit her brother on the back excitedly.
"Ah... seems like I will visit the collosseum." Adena, knowing that she would have nothing to do for quite a while, put her hands behind her head and thought of some plans.
"Alright, we will meet once again in a month. I will leave a message for the receptionists and they will inform you of our plans after that." Allan concluded and looked at Lorea, who was looking back with a smile.
"That's all. I hope you guys have a blast." And Allan then went on his way, with Lorea following by his side.
"Ehh~ seems like these two have something going on." Tuskina remarked, surprised that such a thing only happened now.
"Tsk." Adena clicked her tongue in jealousy.
"Alright, I will be going too, guys. See you soon." Palkus, not wanting to mind others business, just smiled and then went on his way.
He also had plans with Emily. The last date, the two had a blast and it was by far better than the last since the young man managed to study a bit of his 'lady's' likes and dislikes and pinpointed a few things he should focus on to make their experience better.
She liked it! So the two enjoyed their time very much and planned another date for tomorrow. So the young man was excited and after finishing this mission, he would go rest and the next day the both of them would meet up and enjoy their time once again.
Emily had bread from work today and Palkus was planning to strike.
