Chapter 209: Fellow Devourer!
What Draco managed to notice was a celestial hiding his presence within the dead star. He managed to sense him purely by coincidence; had he teleported farther, he wouldn't even bother. Unfortunately for whoever was hiding, Draco was now coming for them.
"Hello there." Appearing inside a barrier of sorts, Draco set his feet on the ground and looked at the humanoid monkey looking being in front of him.
"W- who are you?! How did you manage to get here?" The celestial, who was resting in a lotus position, opened his eyes wide and flew backwards to take his distance from Draco.
[<----------Status---------->]
<Name: Yapi Yapo - Celestial of Intelligence>
<Gender/Age: Male/6,549,354 Years Old>
<Race: Azigotian>
<Realm: Lesser Devourer>
[<---------------------------->]
"Hey! How did you find me? You shouldn't be able to. I'm hiding within a special barrier. I've never been found in my six and a half million years of life, so how did you manage to?" Yapi yapo, asked.
"I guess it's your misfortune." Draco replied, shaking his head with a smile; even he found the name funny.
"What misfortune? I'm the celestial of intelligence; I know it's not simple to find me just like that, so you must be either some super celestial with a crazy authority or you got some celestial artifact specialized in scouting... Were you sent here by my realm's celestials?" A glint ran through Yapi Yapo's eyes.
Instead of replying, Draco only stared at him, surprised at how one could speak so much in such a life-or-death situation, but he was also amazed by the way he somewhat guessed what he was.
"Well, isn't that one useful authority you have?" Draco smiled.
"I'm afraid I will have to kill you." He looked back at him.
"Kill me? No! You can't! I can be useful to you. From the way you're talking, you mustn't be sent by my realm. How about this?
A celestial such as yourself should have plans of forming an organization; my authority will make me the best subordinate you will ever ask for. So? What do you say? I'm better alive than de-"
{Chaos Judgement} Taking out his spear, Draco pointed it at Yapi Yapo and before the monkey man could even finish speaking, he was but a soulless corpse.
"You have a nice idea and a nice authority; unfortunately, I can't trust you." Draco said. However, he had just the right skill for that, one he hadn't used in a long time due to not finding worthy targets.
{Summoning} The familiar shadowy strings ascended from Yapi Yapo's body and then they started forming his body; however, since he was a celestial, his body looked completely normal and similar to how it was before.
"I- I'm alive? I'm alive! I thought I died for a second. Thank you. Thank you. I will do my best to serve you, My Lord.
I, Yapi Yapo, pledge my entire body, soul, and mind to-"
"Shut Up!" Draco shouted.
"I'm sorry, I apologize, I di-"
"One more word and I'm sending you right back." Draco pointed his spear at him.
"Mhm..." Yapi Yapo gulped and raised his hands. The monkeyman was wearing a red robe with black linings and he didn't seem to be someone who used a weapon.
The reason Draco resummoned him was because he liked the idea of forming an organization similar to the anti-celestials since that would help him progress faster.
Up till now, Draco had only managed to devour 7 worlds, and just from his status alone, it was enough to guess that he needed thousands more.
There were things he needed in place, but now that he managed to gain worldly phenomena, he was on the right path; after all, they were a grade higher than Authority.
"Hmm... So you originate from a realm? Azigot, it's called. I see. Quite interesting." Draco surfed through the memories he devoured from Yapi Yapo and said.
"Yes, My Lord, though they banished me an-" Just as Yapi Yapo was beginning his yapping season, Draco gazed at him, scaring the living soul out of him.
"I know all there is about you; no need for you to yap, Yapi Yapo... I will call you Yapa for short." Draco said.
"We will move to this world I have in my mind and after that, we're going for your realm." Draco said. He was interested in realms because, in some cases, unlike planets, they have something like worldly phenomena but more specific.
What Draco was aiming for now was to gain those Realmly Phenomena. Since worldly ones were a higher grade than authorities, then something like a time realm would give him a time phenomenon; such a thing would be very useful.
Let's not forget that authorities are simply borrowed power; thus, if a world is destroyed, celestials will have to look for other worlds to take their authorities back again and would only have a celestial's power but not his might.
Although Draco, with his chaotic kairos physique, was a unique case.
This physique that hasn't appeared all this time was previously mentioned to be the reason why Draco could handle a lot of laws at once when he was still in his early phases, and now that changed to authorities since no other celestial could have more than one in their bodies while the Chaos celestial said 'not for me' once more.
All in all, whenever Draco reaches a new milestone, he immediately becomes a unique and unparalleled anomaly. There was a reason, however, why he needed Portalia to remain intact, many of them in fact; thus, why he gave Palkus the mission he is still in the middle of completing.
"Let's go." Draco commanded and then he and Yapa teleported away; their goal was a planet called Hestia, a world with Divinity as its phenomenon and with unique settings where devas are born to give blessings to the residents of their world. A special planet where two types of completely different lifeforms have a chance to become celestials.
