Chapter 162: First Tribulation! End
Indeed, Draco's Clone was a celestial, at least when it came to its raw power and capabilities.
If the 900th wave boss was a 9th Tribulation Overlord, then the only outcome for the last wave's boss would be a Celestial.
However, this mattered little for someone who was already successful on killing a fully fledged Celestial. No matter how weakened Fate was, he had his experience and was definitely stronger than any newly ascended.
"Zero." Draco called his partner.
Zero was the one to help him fix all of the holes which could allow a being to cause danger for him, maximizing his defense.
Draco in his current state was immune to almost every single law that exists, similar to attacks that attacked one's fate, attacks that used gravity to overpower someone, instant Death, soul, body, and mind attacks.
However, he could still be killed by someone who was far stronger than him or using some form of Offensive technique that he in his current realm could not use; Celestial Authority was a prime example of that.
This was to show that Draco knew exactly where he was lacking and what he had to do to deal with a clone of his.
any attack worked in this situation, as long as the damage was destructive enough, but Draco, if he was allowed the chance, would love to go out with a bang.
And that's what he did!
[Sinful Chaos: Absolute HellMaze!]
This is what he came up with—an upgrade of his [Endless Nightmare] skill that traumatized Leona for life deep within.
Draco's clone, which was fighting for control over the overseer, suddenly found himself trapped within a corridor of sorts, with abyssal walls ascending to the sky, not allowing him to know where he was.
"A maze, huh?" The clone's sharp mind quickly came to the conclusion that he was within a labyrinth and the first thing he did was use his senses to figure out a way out.
'I'd never make something so simple.' He chuckled, shaking his head.
He could easily figure out how to leave the maze, and that's what he did.
Crossing a distance that took his full speed a few days to cover, he managed to safely get out, meeting another form of the overseer that was far more oppressive than how he last remembered it.
'Trying to gain time?' He thought, seeing as Draco used this time to upgrade his favorite spell.
"Unfortunately, this won't work against me." He bellowed out as he stretched both of his hands to the sides.
[All Mighty Chaos]
Still, the strongest offensive skill Draco had in his arsenal was the flames of chaos that held every form of attack and this worked well to dispel and end the life of the overseer, even though it took quite some time.
This allowed the clone to gain control over the maze and get out, seeing Himsef far away from Draco, who was attacking him with [Chaos Overload Barrage]
"Tsk, I didn't expect you to come out this quickly." Draco clicked his tongue as his expression gave out his surprise.
"You shouldn't be surprised with how easy you made that Maze." the clone shrugged his shoulders before he got into position.
"Don't think you will be getting me again after that, though."
*Fwshhhh*
The clone blinked all the way until he was in front of Draco before he caught his face, but Draco quickly blocked his hand before he tried to counterattack.
"You have a long way to go when it comes to martial arts." The clone snickered as he stopped Draco's attempt to deal damage and kicked him away, gaining distance.
"Eat this! [Sinful Chaos Overload]!" Materializing a spear in his hand, the clone went into position and after charging his spear well... he launched it at Draco.
"Fuck me!" Was all the clone could hear before the entire area was cleaned by the spear.
"Huh?" The clone stood in its place, not understanding what just happened.
"Was that... really Draco?" He asked, his thoughts unconsciously flowing outwardly.
"So you noticed." The veil of reality and illusion cleared up for the Clone to find Draco standing above him.
"Hmm?" He tried to look down and then to the sides but he couldn't.
"What... happened?" He calmly asked.
"While you were dreaming of killing me and smiling all evilly,. I took the liberty to separate every limb from your body." As politely as he could, Draco, who was removing some black gloves he was wearing, replied.
And that is when the clone used his senses to see his head, hands, legs, and upper body, each placed somewhere a few meters away.
"Heh. It seems the fake could never beat the original." The clone smiled as he looked at the starry sky.
"I still wonder how you couldn't figure that out at the start." was Draco's reply while he showed his respect by looking at the sky, mimicking his clones actions.
"Whatever it is that makes you special... I don't have." Was the last reply of the Clone before his eyes went white and he disappeared into a million white fragment.
Draco looked at the flying sparkles and then at the plane that was returning to its original form of a locked white space.
[Congratulations! You've successfully cleared the 1000th floor and are officially crowned as a Celestial without having to further ascend the tower. Reminder: completing the trials will guarantee higher results by the end.]
[Score: Perfect!]
[Reward: 1-Star Origin Law Upgrade.]
Draco felt himself getting sleepy, the tower forcing his evolution while giving him special permission to continue taking on the 8 remaining tribulations.
As Draco's mind drifted away, a few thoughts rang through his mind.
'I wonder how long I will remain unconscious this time. I'd love to see what this Origin Law Upgrade is all about.'
Draco's last evolution took him about 3 months, and this one... was definitely taking much more.
Would things change after he comes back, or would everything remain the same.
