Chaos Evolution: Only I Was Granted 3 Wishes

Chapter 156: End Of Fate!

[Congratulation, You've Fulfilled All Conditions and Are Ready To Ascend!]

Golden rain fell from the sky as if to drown the realm in its sorrow over the loss of a long-term friend.

Crimson Pillars of light ascended all over the realm where the palms fell. The station where Draco was situated was saved by the commander, Alexander, whose wives were there, and the elders, however, the others weren't so lucky.

After the great catastrophe, Draco's system appeared to congratulate him on completing all of the conditions and being eligible for... ascension.

Indeed, Ascension and not Evolution. After one becomes an Origin Emperor and fulfills all of his conditions, he can ascend anytime, with the choice of staying to temper himself with the tribulations or risking everything and coming out stronger.

There are 9 tribulations, and one could only go through them within the final 9 floors of the Tower.

It was worth noting that the final Evolution was this Ascension to Celestialhood.

Draco looked to his sides and then he sensed the elders on the right, floating atop the Station they just saved, Alexander and Leona floating with them.

{Chaos Teleportation}

With a single spell, Draco appeared next to the elders, ready for his final goodbye before he went back to his continent.

"Alexander, we're moving as soon as possible." He announced.

The elders, hearing this, turned to look at him, their eyes somber.

"You're leaving already, young Draco?" the deer elder asked, speaking politely yet in a way that made him show his fondness for Draco.

"Yes, elder. I'm planning on ascending through the tower." Draco replied, speaking politely.

"Good, good. What do you say we teleport you directly to the Central Continent?" The elder asked, wanting to ease things up for Draco.

"Hmm, that would be helpful, actually." Draco thought for a second and replied. He was planning on using his connection with the Blazin Sect elder of the Celestial Academy to use the tower.

However, since he had a chance to go to the Central Continent and, at the same time, ascend the tower, why bother?

"Very well, when you want to leave, just come to the center as always; I'll be there." The elder smiled and said.

"You'll be directly sent to the Great Deer Monarchy, which is the closest to the Tower." The commander, who was standing on the side, approached and spoke, gaining the attention of Draco.

"I see. Very well, I have no time to waste, so I would like to move now. However, I will leave one of my clones here temporarily." Draco announced, raising a few eyebrows.

"Oh, isn't that a little fast? Well, I can't blame you. Hahaha." The elder laughed when he saw how eager Draco was to ascend.

"Leona, Come to my estate, I will be waiting." Draco turned to address his party member one last time, before he turned to look at Alexander, who was deep in thought.

"We shall meet soon." He sent a mental message before he looked at the elder once again.

"Let's go." The elder saw Draco's look and turned in the direction of the center, the latter inching closer to him.

A second later, they changed into a white blur and reappeared in a secret room of the castle. A round portal of sorts was swirling inside the majestic room.

"I would love to lead you all the way there, however, I have a duty to attend to and it's forbidden for me to set foot on the Central Continent. Don't worry, no one is going to annoy you when you teleport, in fact, they would treat you with the utmost respect." The elder said, looking at Draco.

Draco turned to face the elder one last time and nodded.

"Thank you, Elder." Even the greatest of evil had manners for their elders.

"I shall leave now, then." He said, heading towards the portal.

"Good. I wish you great success." These were the last words Draco heard before he stepped in the portal.

------------------

There were many things one had to take into consideration when taking a new step ahead in their lives, and one of them was cutting loose anything useless.

Out of the countless gomen Draco had in his army, only a few would be kept and those were the ones able to become Origin Emperor in the shortest time possible with the help of Draco's directions.

Aside from that, Leona and Alexander were also going to closely follow Draco so they could ascend too.

What Draco was leaving behind was, namely:

Marco the saint, who turned out to be more useless than Draco had hoped.

The six continents and Draco's empire were going to be completely forgotten, though they could be of use when he becomes a celestial in the way they could give birth to potential talents.

And lastly, the XP Mutliplier Unique Skill he had also turned out to be useless sooner than Draco had guessed.

All in all, aside from a few select individuals, Draco was going to ditch everything in his attempt to ascend, and one of them... was Elfina.

The poor girl, day after day after Draco left, came back from work to an empty house.

The maids, butlers, and chefs were there, working normally, but the one who made her everyday life so fun and enjoyable... was gone.

Day after day, she thought that maybe it was some mission; maybe something important came up, but... he normally told her, so why?

It was only a month after Draco left that she started to doubt.

He was never gone for this long, did he die? Impossible... or was it?

Did he ditch her? Not Draco, no... Or did he?

Did he just use her? Not with the way he treated her... maybe not.

She didn't know anymore, she tried to stop thinking and just wait for him.

One day... one day, hopefully, he would enter the door, smile at her, hug her, take her out to dinner and after that, they would have the best time together... And then in the morning, he would make her the coffee that enchanted every second of her daily life. She would shower and dress up for him and he would compliment her, then drive her all the way to the guild.

Was this... all gone?
