Wait, I read somewhere on the forums that attacking someone else first made you lose karma, so what happens when karma is 0? Will Astaria lose gear and levels or something? Because surely if she attacks them all she will go negative, right?

Well, we have not tested going into negative karma yet, but it seems you lose an amount based on the level difference, ie, if both are of equal level, the karma loss will be lower than if attacking a player 4 levels lower.

Astaria, after giving a warning to the Iron Fist guild, a bit of back and forth, and calling their leader a little, boy provoked the guild to attack her. Astaria however manages to strike first, assumably due to having a reduced cast time and starts rushing the Iron Fist guild.

I guess it makes sense, before VR, and I guess even in the most popular MMO’s, you have 3rd person or at least a mini-map that has player icons, here you are just restricted to your eyes and natural senses. It’s tactically the best decision to get into their formation for many reasons.

I have played my fair share of MMO’s in the past, and i am almost certain this is all raw skill. Her situational awareness is honestly insane, her use of skills is creative enough that its clearly achieved through experience, her positioning is impeccable, and i could go on. Bot programs would not be able to do what she just did.
