Chapter 55: 55 : " Holy Shit "
Felix was shocked when he looked at Jarvis. He took a deep breath and asked, "So you already knew about all this all along?"
Jarvis returned to his expressionless face and nodded, "Yes, that is correct. I have known about my parents, my origins, and all those things all along."
"How did you find out or when did you find out?" Felix inquired.
Jarvis just shook his head, "No comment."
Felix nodded, understanding that maybe Jarvis didn't want to talk about it. Everyone has secrets they prefer to keep to themselves.
"So if you knew all this time, why didn't you take revenge against them since you said you were quite a threat to them? I'm sure your strength would have been enough to at least severely wound them," Felix expressed his confusion.
"If I had started taking revenge, even though my strength was sufficient to inflict heavy damage on them, I chose to remain ignorant. Do you know why?" Jarvis glanced at Felix.
Felix shook his head, waiting for an explanation.
"The Silvandell Empire is one of the most powerful forces on the continent, among the top ten. Their strength cannot be underestimated. If I had acted rashly, I would be dead without knowing how. There are individuals among the High Elves more powerful than me. So, I chose to pretend I didn't know anything," Jarvis explained.
Felix nodded in understanding. The Silvandell Empire was indeed a formidable force. If Jarvis had acted recklessly, he would have faced consequences from not only the High Elves but also the Blood races two of the most powerful Races on the continent.
Felix shook his head, realizing Jarvis' situation was complicated.
He had discovered the truth about his parents but couldn't seek revenge otherwise he will die without being able to rescue or avenge his parents.
"I'm quite curious, why did the High Elves let you go after destroying your Mana Channels? Why didn't they just kill you?" Felix asked.
Jarvis shook his head. "They didn't let me go. In fact, they wanted to kill me, but someone saved me."
"Who?" Felix was curious.
"My so-called Uncle," Jarvis said with a mocking smile.
Felix was taken aback. "You mean the Emperor of Silvandell Empire?"
Jarvis nodded.
"Why did he save you? I mean, isn't he afraid that you will someday come to take revenge?" Felix was confused.
"I myself don't know why he saved me. Maybe he is feeling guilty or something," Jarvis said casually.
Felix nodded, considering that maybe the reason why the Silvandell Emperor saved Jarvis was because he was feeling guilty. Family bonds are strong, after all.
"So what are you going to do now? You are no longer a slave, you are free," Felix smiled.
Jarvis sank into deep thoughts, with a pondering expression on his face. After a while, he shook his head. "I don't know where to go, and with my current state, I'm afraid I will be turned into a slave again in no time."
Felix had a pondering look, and a few seconds later, he glanced at Jarvis. "How about this? You can stay with me for the time being, and when you decide, you can leave."
Jarvis's eyes flashed with surprise as he looked at Felix. After a moment of thought, he nodded.
Felix's eyes flickered slightly as an unnoticeable smile crept at the corner of his mouth. He looked at Jarvis, his eyes shining.
"So, can you recover your strength, or is there a way you can repair your damaged Mana Channels?" Felix shook his head and asked curiously.
"Yeah, I can repair my Mana Channels," Jarvis nodded.
"Yeah, I can repair my Mana Channels," Jarvis nodded.
"You can repair your Mana Channels? I thought that was impossible," Felix was surprised.
When one's Mana Channels are destroyed, it's practically impossible to repair them.
"I have my own ways," Jarvis causally said.
Felix nodded, curious about how Mana Channels could be repaired, but he didn't probe any further.
The two men fell into silence in the carriage, lost in their own thoughts as they continued on their way.
After thirty minutes, the carriage arrived at the mansion in the Edel District.
Felix and Jarvis stepped out of the carriage, and Felix turned to Jarvis with a smile.
"Welcome to the House of Morningstar," Felix said.
Jarvis casually glanced at the mansion and nodded expressionlessly. He showed no emotion on his face, having seen much more magnificent buildings in the past.
In fact, the Elves were known to be the most talented architects on the continent, creating buildings that were truly magnificent and beautiful.
Felix took the lead and entered the mansion, with Jarvis following behind him. He made his way to the pavilion beside the lake, where a maid quickly approached them.
"Master Felix," the maid greeted.
Felix smiled and nodded, then turned to Jarvis and said to the maid, "Take him to one of the villas and bring him a set of new clothes."
The maid nodded and curiously looked at Jarvis, who was covered in tattered and ragged clothes, with messy, long hair and bloody marks all over him.
"Jarvis, follow her. She will take you to your residence and help you freshen up," Felix said.
Jarvis nodded and followed the maid out of the pavilion. Felix was left alone, watching Jarvis leave with a thoughtful look on his face and a slight smile.
"What are you thinking and smiling about?" she asked.
Just then, a gentle voice interrupted his thoughts as Trinity entered the pavilion.
Felix snapped out of his thoughts as he looked at Trinity and shook his head. "Nothing," he replied.
Trinity sat down and glanced in the direction where the maid and Jarvis had gone. "Who is that?" she asked Felix.
"Just an interesting and pitiful person I bought from the slave market," Felix said with a smile.
" Oh " Trinity calmly nodded.
" Where is Brixton?" Felix asked.
" Still eating" Trinity answered her lips twitching.
Felix was stunned speechless, " You mean this guy is still eating after all this time?".
"Yes" Trinity nodded," Even I'm quite puzzled as well when he broke to Tier 2 this morning it seems his appetite have dramatically increased ".
"Damm this guy is going to eat me more poor " Felix was speechless.
"What about you, have you consolidated your strength?" Felix asked curiously.
" Yeah " Trinity nodded.
" So how powerful are now?" Felix asked again.
Trinity pondered for a moment before replying, " I can't exactly gauge my strength but I think I can insta kill a Tier 2 Mana Cultivator and put on a fight against a Tier 3 Mana Cultivator ".
Felix was surprised.
When Felix inquired about Trinity's power level, she humbly admitted that she believed she could instantly defeat a Tier 2 Mana Cultivator and put up a good fight against a Tier 3 Mana Cultivator. Felix was surprised by her strength.
" And what are your chances if you want to kill a Tier 3 Mana Cultivator?" Felix smiled at her.
Trinity glanced at Felix and casually said, " sixty percent".
Felix smiled but he was also surprised Trinity strength is really impressive.
" Big bro, big sis " A loud voice rumbled as Felix and Trinity looked towards the source of the voice.
" Holy shit!" Felix exclaimed as he shot up to his. Trinity face was also covered with shock and deep confusion.
"What the fuck happened to you Brixton? How did you become like this?" Felix said in a shaking voice.
Brixton who was standing at the entrance of the was scratching his head with a silly smile in his face, he was holding a huge drumstick in his left hand.
The current Brixton have drastically changed, he is now almost nine feet tall, he was simply huge his build have now become much muscular.
His skin have a tinge bronze shinning slightly the aura he was emitting was simply suffocating.
Felix was even wondering if he was just a Tier 2 Mana Cultivator.
"Big bro I don't know, I just become like this after I broke through" Brixton voice loudly rumble causing the pavilion to trembled slightly.
Felix gasped in amazement as he gazed up at Brixton, who towered over him like a small mountain. The air around them felt heavy with Brixton's presence.
"Can you shrink down a bit?" Felix asked, craning his neck to look up at Brixton.
"Yeah, I think I can manage that," Brixton replied, scratching his head and nodding.
"Then hurry up and do it," Felix urged.
Brixton closed his eyes and, after a few moments, began to shrink in size. Five minutes later, he was back to a normal height, although he still looked strong and burly.
He grinned, walked into the pavilion, and started munching on a giant drumstick.
Felix took a deep breath, still shocked by the transformation. He hadn't expected Brixton to change so drastically.
"I'll have to look into this later," Felix thought to himself, glancing over at Brixton.
Shaking his head, Felix sat down and resumed his conversation with Trinity. Discover secrets at m-vlem|p-yr
