Building A Business Empire From Scratch In Another World

Chapter 46: 46 : Banquet_3

"Are you two about to fight in my presence," a cold and domineering voice echoed across the hall, followed by a chilling aura that spread frost throughout the banquet hall.

Some guests began to shiver as cold air escaped their mouths with each breath.

Gunther and Sigurd's expressions changed as they turned to look at the entrance of the banquet hall, followed by all the other guests.

Standing at the entrance were Felix Seraphine Netherfrost and Houston. Seraphine Netherfrost's gaze was cold, surrounded by swirling white mists, and she had a cold, expressionless face.

Gunther and Sigurd quickly moved to opposite sides of the hall. Gunther glanced at Seraphine with a complicated expression that quickly returned to normal.

Sigurd, on the other hand, looked at Seraphine with a mix of hatred, anger, and fear in his eyes, his fists clenched tightly.

Seraphine Netherfrost immediately became the center of attention as some guests looked at her with awe and fear.

"She has become much more powerful," Wilhelm said solemnly. Alura, sitting beside him, nodded with a serious expression as she observed Seraphine.

"She is more terrifying than last time," a robust young man remarked to another man beside him.

"You're also in the academy, was she that powerful back then?" the other man asked.

The robust young man shook his head. "She's not just powerful, she's downright terrifying. Did you know that in the academy, she froze a Tier 7 Legendary Knight with just one attack?"

"What! She's that powerful?" the young man's eyes widened in shock.

"And do you know what Mana Cultivation level she was at that time?" the robust young man chuckled.

The young man shook his head. "Which Mana Cultivation level was she at?"

"At that time, she was just a Tier 5 Grandmaster Mage," the robust young man said with a solemn and bitter look. The young man beside him had his eyes wide open, almost popping out of their sockets.

"She jumped two Tiers to fight that Legendary Knight," the young man took a deep breath and said. "Yeah, at that time I was also there. I saw it with my own two eyes. That Legendary Knight didn't even have time to react before he was frozen. It was simply too fast for anyone to react," the robust young man said with a hint of fear flashing in his eyes.

The young man listened with shock and fear in his eyes, glancing at Seraphine Netherfrost at the center of the hall.

"And now I don't know how powerful she has become. She is simply terrifying. I can't see through her anymore," the robust young man shook his head. "She is such a monster," the young man said bitterly.

The robust young man turned to the young man, Ryatt. "Let me tell you something, Ryatt. In this world, there are people you can't compare to. Even if you work hard for your entire life, you can only see their shadow."

Ryatt nodded. "But Igor, I believe you are also powerful. I don't believe you can't fight her," Ryatt asked with reluctance.

Igor chuckled. "Ryatt, although I might be strong, I know my strength very well. Let's just say right now she can kill me effortlessly. Do you believe me?"

Ryatt shook his head. Of course, he couldn't believe it. He knew how powerful Igor was. He once saw Igor split a Tier Magical Beast in two with just one attack. How could he believe what Igor was saying?

"There's nothing to be ashamed of. I know my own limits. I can sense that if she's willing, nobody in this hall can defeat her, not even Wilhelm and Alura with their combined attacks," Igor said, glancing at Wilhelm and Alura out of the corner of his eye.

Ryatt took a deep breath. "What about Sigurd? Can you defeat him?"

"He's just an arrogant piece of trash who relies on his clan name to bully the weak. He seems to have forgotten how Seraphine Netherfrost defeated him a few years back with just a single snowflake," Igor sneered disdainfully. "Only Gunther, Wilhelm, and Alura are qualified to be my opponents in Bridgemoor City," Igor added confidently.

"Igor, I heard that the situation in Bridgemoor City isn't really good," Ryatt suddenly said.

Igor's expression shifted slightly as he shot a glance at Ryatt. "I know some of the things that are currently happening in Bridgemoor City, but as long as we and our clan stay out of it, we'll be fine,"

Igor said. "Ryatt, during this time, don't do anything that will put yourself and the clan in danger, okay?"

"Yes, I understand," Ryatt nodded.

As Igor and Ryatt were talking, Seraphine walked confidently into the hall. She stood in front of the guests, her eyes scanning the crowd.

Her gaze paused on Gunther for a moment before landing on Sigurd, with a hint of disdain and mockery in her eyes. "I heard you're unhappy that I took so long?" Seraphine narrowed her eyes.

Sigurd's expression changed slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "What I said was the truth. Do you know how much time I wasted?"

"Let me make something clear to you. I invited you here, I didn't force you. If you feel like I'm wasting your time, then... scram," Seraphine curled her lips.

Sigurd's face turned red with anger. "Don't think that you're stronger than me and just because you're from the Netherfrost Clan. I'm not afraid of you," he roared.

"And I'm not afraid of you or your Raventhorne Clan," Seraphine smirked.

As the drama unfolded, Felix stood at the corner of the hall, wearing an interesting and amusing smile.

He didn't care if they killed each other or not, nor did he bother with the power struggles and intricacies of the city as long as his restaurant ran smoothly.

However, he couldn't ignore the possibility of a fight breaking out in his establishment - what if they destroyed it?

He didn't want to get caught up in their struggles, as the saying goes, "when the gods fight, the mortals suffer."

Sigurd's expression was quite ugly, his fists clenched tightly. Suddenly, his angry demeanor transformed into a smile, as if he had thought of something.

"Seraphine, I heard that one of your main Clan Tier 5 Grandmaster Knights was assassinated in your own territory, and your clan experts couldn't do anything about it," Sigurd said with a sly grin, eyeing Seraphine provocatively.

Seraphine's face changed slightly, her eyes filled with intense killing intent as she glared at Sigurd.

"Ah, what a disgrace. One of your clan experts was killed in your own territory, and you didn't even see who did it. And you call yourselves the Netherfrost Clan," Sigurd continued provocatively, seemingly unaware of Seraphine's changing expression.

"Sigurd, that idiot," Igor shook his head.

Wilhelm,Alura and Gunther looked at Sigurd as if he were a fool.

"That guy is definitely dead," Wilhelm added.

Everyone present had heard about what recently happened in the Capital, none of their clans and backings were weak. The Netherfrost Clan may have tried to keep it under wraps, but word always got out.

However, no one dared to speak up in front of Seraphine herself, knowing and telling is a complete different thing.

But that idiot Sigurd, didn't seem to see the situation clearly.

All the guests in the hall stared at Sigurd with disdain, as if he were clueless. They slowly parted ways on both sides of the hall, leaving Sigurd standing alone in the center. Unaware of his isolation, he continued to taunt Seraphine. Even Felix shook his head in disbelief at Sigurd's foolishness.

As Sigurd persisted in provoking Seraphine,

"Seraphine, I think if I were yo..." Suddenly, his expression changed dramatically.

BOOOOOM!

He was hit with a massive force that sent him flying and crashing into the floor several meters away.

The guests' faces changed as they saw Sigurd lying on the ground, covered in frost.

They turned to look at Seraphine with fear, unsure of how she was able to send Sigurd flying so quickly.

Cough! Cough!

A slight coughing sound could be heard as Sigurd slowly got up from the ground, glaring at Seraphine with a mix of embarrassment and rage in his eyes.

"Seraphine! I'm going to fight you today," Sigurd roared.

With a boom, a terrifying pressure exploded out of his body. Red arcs of Mana swirled around him, causing the marble tile floors to crack.

"Huh, what a surprise. I didn't expect this idiot to reach Tier 6 Epic Knight," Ryatt said in surprise.

"No," Igor shook his head. "It's just temporary. He seems to have something to raise his strength."

The others also shook their heads, noticing that Sigurd had used something to temporarily increase his strength.

"Sigurd, is this what you're relying on? How pathetic," Seraphine shook her head with disdain.

"I was able to defeat you a few years back, and I can do it again," Seraphine mocked.

Sigurd didn't speak. Instead, he roared as he shot towards Seraphine.

Seraphine shook her head, slowly raising her hand and muttering slightly.

Frozen Dream

Suddenly, Sigurd, who was rushing towards Seraphine with immense speed, was frozen in ice on the spot.

A moment later, the ice encasing Sigurd cracked open as he was shot back like a cannonball.
