Chapter 66 Kiara Storm, Facade
The Archive was a strange built large structure. It's width was only a twenty to thirty meters wide but its length was over a few hundreds of meters in length. Its peak couldn't even be seen as smog of clouds and thick smoke has waited accentuated the thick metallic structure.
An ineffable feeling overcame Erian as he stared at the Archive. Its appearance seem as old as time itself, but the massive wave of power roiling off the tower was enough to awe even the strongest of towers.
Before the tower was a seemingly magical statue of a life-like mysterious strange beast, purely made of Ivy. Its red eyes were dull, but they strangley gave off an illusion of a deep red wave of energy that beamed terror through the mind of anyone who first saw it.
"First time here?" Erian still in his stupor unconsciously nodded head with a still astonished mind but was soon jolted awake upon the disruption. Yet, he was quite swift in composing himself.
A few feet away from him was a young lady that appeared to be 16 years of age. She was also staring at the giant statue before the Archive but instead of the shock and awe Erian had reacted, there was calmness etched on her face. Perhaps, it wasn't her first time gazing at the statue before her.
Looking at her face, she looked a bit familiar and as Erian thought a bit about it, he was able to recognise where he had seen her from.
She was Kiara Storm, one of he few who had actually managed to escape the attack of the mindless Titan by climbing and hanging behind it. Erian had been too preoccupied with his situation, but he had heard some of crazy individual actually went ahead to mount the Titan without the slightest fear of death! Even the innate terror a Titan naturally exudes was unable to terrify such people which shows just how terrifying they were.
Erian took back his gaze, placing the thought to the back of his head and nodded in response. "You are right."
"This is also my first time here. The statue is made out of the flesh and bones of the Grade V Triple-crown Slattern hence the reason it exude such brutality." Kiara explained, her soft voice ineffably faint but radiate admit the murmuring crowds of students entering and exciting the Archive.
"Oh." Upon hearing the word Grade V, Erian was slightly stunned. Those are beast that stood at the top of the food chain. Even their breath contain large amount of plasma and extremely thick radiation that could instantly kill a Titan in a single whiff.
Despite the incredibly strength of such monsters, a Calamity grade Triple-crown Slattern was currently being used as decoration just outside War-God academy's Archive which is simply ridiculous!
Despite the massive influence of the Seven Grand Universities, using a Triple-crown Slattern as decoration for the University is spontaneously asinine. This simply revealed the just how special the War-God university is or how insane they are.
"Burying yourself underground was actually really smart." Kiara's green eyes shifted and landed on Erian's body. A small expression on her face as she said this.
Erian smiled bitterly and responded, shaking his head. "Although the Titan was deceived, the others weren't and I almost died as a result. Your tactic was surprisingly quite bold, decisive and smart. Never would have thought anyone would be brave enough to approach the monster. While the Titan was focused on its urge for food, you took advantage of its blindspot by keeping close to it."
Kiara's smile widened upon hearing Erian words. "As they say, the best place to stay hidden is in plain sight. Moreover the Titan lacked intelligence anyways and its senses and nerves are numb to sensation therefore it couldn't feel us on its back."
Erian felt a slight vibration in his wrist. He checked his holowatch. "Sorry to cut this short, but I have to head in now." Giving out a small smile towards Kiara, Erian bagan heading towards the Archive.

Her brows tilted a bit as though she was listening to someone speaking. "Not true, the first place should have been mine."
Her beautiful brows furrowed, extenuating her brightly lit pupils. "I know he's still weakened, but we just got in, acting now will give a bad impression to the envoys."
Suddenly, her expression changed drastically as she whispered. "A failed winged gene serum? That's impossible! Lieutenant Storm couldn't get one, how was a kid able to get his hands in it?"
"It doesn't matter now, I can only act when he least expects it."

The interior of the Archive contained only one color; white.
At the two edges of the hall, two spiralling staircases spun endlessly upwards with its topmost part unbake to be seen due to the height. A few students with their badges on their cloths walked in and out of the Archive without a single book in their hands.
Some had satisfactory looks on their faces as though content with what they had gained from within the Archive. There were two separate sections within the Archive. One for Nuclear Techniques and the section section meant for Combat Tactics.
The different floors within the Archive indicate the hierarchy of technique within the Archive. The first hall as stated in the student manual was for rudimentary mundane techniques and manual such as the Cell rejuvenating technique for ordinary humans to become Enhanced.
The second floor comprises of basic Rare grade techniques and Combat Tactics that can be utilized when one becomes a Titan. This was what Erian came here for, the rare grade technique.
Ignoring the soft whisper from the surrounding students, Erian shouldered through the crowd and headed for the second floor of the Archive. His first goal was a Nuclear Technique then Combat Tactics later.
