Chapter 16

C16 – Report to the Master!

“You’ve got some insight!”

Pei Yu didn’t waste any more time. With a swift motion, he launched a punch.

A sickening crack of breaking bones echoed. Bian Fenjiang’s leg, as sturdy as concrete, snapped with ease.

Bian Fenjiang was in agony, his cry of pain ringing out.

His scream drew the attention of disciples training nearby. Curiosity piqued, they gathered around the scuffle.

But Pei Yu showed no mercy. His second punch sent Bian Fenjiang hurtling through the air for meters.

Crashing to the ground, Bian Fenjiang caught a glimpse of his caved-in chest. A metallic taste filled his mouth, and blood spurted out before darkness claimed him.

Bian Fenjiang’s companions, witnessing the scene, felt their legs buckle in fear.

Pei Yu had bested Bian Fenjiang with just two strikes?

If his power could so easily overpower Bian Fenjiang, his level must be at least Third Grade Middle Level!

Sweat drenched his entire body, his face slick with fear. He averted his eyes, praying Pei Yu wouldn’t notice him.

“I’m Pei Yu, and I don’t hesitate to put trash like Bian Fenjiang in their place. If anyone here has a problem with that, feel free to step up and challenge me,” Pei Yu declared, his voice slicing through the stunned silence of the dojo. No one dared to utter a word.

With that, Pei Yu turned on his heel and strode out of the Super Martial Club.

‘Hundred Refined To Be A God’ was no joke. With a base combat strength of 40,000, crushing Bian Fenjiang was child’s play for Pei Yu.

He had even held back; otherwise, Bian Fenjiang would have been dead where he stood.

“Quick, notify the Master!” Once Pei Yu was gone, Bian Fenjiang’s companions, overcoming their terror, hurried towards the martial club building.

Pei Yu had seriously injured a fellow disciple—this was a grave incident.

Unaware of the gravity of his actions, Pei Yu was indifferent to the harsh realities of the martial world.

Had he been as weak as he once was, Bian Fenjiang would have certainly left him crippled, or worse, paralyzed.

And in such a state, who would care for his sister?

In a fit of rage, Pei Yu dealt with Bian Fenjiang decisively. The fact that Bian Fenjiang was a disciple of the martial club was of no consequence to him.

Pei Yu was a Fifth Grade practitioner with a formidable combat strength of 46,000. He had also completed the rigorous process of tempering his entire body. In such a state, Pei Yu was confident in his ability to take on a Grandmaster in battle.

He harbored no fear of Grandmasters. Furthermore, he doubted that the Super Martial Club would retaliate on behalf of a mere Second Grade disciple.

Should they choose to confront him, Pei Yu was prepared to give it his all. Winning was one thing; having the courage to face the challenge was another. Fear was not in Pei Yu’s nature!

Meanwhile, at the Garden Residence where Pei Yu resided:

“How’s it looking? Are you certain Pei Sheng is in there?”

“Absolutely sure. Qian, rest assured, your journey here won’t be for nothing.”

Two towering figures in overcoats paused outside the neighborhood. Surveying the community, they extended their awareness to envelop the entire Garden Residence.

As they projected their consciousness, undercover detectives in the vicinity were overwhelmed by the immense pressure. Their faces contorted, and they struggled to breathe.

It was only when the two men withdrew their presence that a sense of normalcy slowly returned.

These two imposing figures cast a significant presence, and the scouts nearby felt the weight of their authority.

Both were of Grandmaster caliber. Inspector Bian Tong had achieved Grandmaster status just last month and was responsible for the security of N City.

His neighbor, the bearded Qian Wenwei, was the Head Master of the Super Martial Club. He commanded several Grandmasters and tens of thousands of disciples under his leadership.

His level surpassed that of Inspector Bian Tong. Rumor had it he had reached the Perfection Stage Grandmaster level, a testament to his extraordinary prowess.

Standing in the shadows of these two titans, the ordinary individuals felt a palpable tension, finding even the simple act of breathing to be a challenge.
