Chapter 2959 - Strongest Combat Form in History
Lan Huang's loud laughter made it sound like an absolute cretin, to the point that Tianming stomped his right foot to get it to shut up.
"This is mad! Mad!" The beasts kept teasing Tianming and even forgot about the predicament that they were in.
"You fools! Idiots! Pigs!" How could they mess around even at a time like this?! "I should get all of you piggy masks to wear... Wait!" All of a sudden, his body shook. "Where's the tribulation?"
He looked down and saw many Bloodweavers pierced through him as well as many visible blood vessels due to how drastically his lifebound beasts had changed his limbs. However, the ruinous tribulation from the manna had vanished without him even noticing. That was how important one's mental state was!
In the beginning, they had been hurting so badly that they couldn't endure it any longer. Yet when they joined up together and began making merry despite the pain, their wills united and created much hope for the future, hope that somehow helped them overcome their tribulations!
As Tianming participated in their little teasing spat, he endured the destructive energies in his body. The more fun they were having, the stronger his will to live became! Though they seemed to have no future whatsoever, they had created a new future for themselves. With five souls united in a single body, Tianming led them all through the hurt, channeling their drive to survive to overcome the fatal tribulation!
Ying Huo's bloodline connected to his infernal heart through his blood vessels, taking over his entire circulatory system. In the same vein, Meow Meow's body connected to his genesis spleen, Lan Huang's body connected to his primordial lungs, and Xian Xian's body connected to his radix liver!
Using primordial breathing, he absorbed nova source into his body. His infernal heart converted raw nova source into cosmoforce and his genesis spleen detoxified his body, while his radix liver produced brand-new astrons! Through the fusion, Tianming had achieved a whole new level of symbiotic cultivation with his beasts. Their cosmoforce perfectly intermixed, connecting the orders of the beasts with the respective copies that were in his body. All five of their cosmic charts also overlaid on top of each other, fusing them in more senses than one.
"I feel much stronger!" Tianming felt like he had so much more energy than he used to, thanks to them, and his fighting spirit suddenly shot up. The Omnisentient Power in his body kept rising, a sign that his trillions of believers had yet to give up on him! But that wasn't even the key; Tianming could use his four beasts to take on much more Omnisentient Power, giving him access to all their energy reserves without having to bear the burden alone.
Additionally, Tianming could also use all their abilities, all tens of them! His body was also far stronger than anything a normal human cultivator could achieve, especially when combined with Lan Huang's brute strength! Tianming wasn't sure what kind of monstrous amalgamation would be born from this. All he knew was that the power he felt within his body had skyrocketed once the tribulation was over.
"They still failed to evolve at the end of the day, with their star counts remaining the same and much of their bloodline chains only halfway unlocked. Not to mention, they almost completely lost their body autonomy.... But they became perfect for fusing with me. I really don't know if it’s a blessing or a curse. Either way, they became so much stronger than they were when they could freely roam around, even after failing their evolution!" Apart from that, failing their evolutions didn't mean that the power from the manna was all gone. It remained within their bodies and could still be gradually extracted with effort.
"Losing their freedom can't be good for them in the long term. I have to find a way for them to regain their own bodies. I don't want my body to be their prison. Even so, this might be the best thing for us to ensure that we survive!" If it weren’t for the fusion, the four of them might not have been able to hold on. If they couldn't even live, how could they be free? Life was the utmost priority! As such, Tianming and his beasts didn't care about the wider implications and focused only on survival, with the tribulation now behind them.
Fortunately, Demoness Yin's hesitation had given them a chance. Tianming's firm resolution spread to all his believers through the Omnisentient Threads, further strengthening their will to fight. The appearance of the golden Feiling leading the astral gods to war also did much of the same. Tianming was the medium through which they could channel their desire to fight! Thus, they funneled desire and passion to him nonstop. It was only thanks to them that he was able to do well against the tribulation! Finally, it was their time to shine again.
"Everyone!" Tianming and his beasts' eyes glowed bright with power. "We managed to overcome it, and we won’t let others dictate our fates any longer! This is a perfect opportunity!"
Everything, from his new mode of existence and all that power, brought him even more confidence and faith. The only reason Tianming had been able to be bound by the Bloodweaver in the first place was Mister Taihe and Demoness Yin ganging up on him. He didn't fear Demoness Yin alone, especially not now that Ying Huo and the others had given him much more power and confidence! Before, their power had existed in different bodies and couldn't be perfectly combined, but now all of it flowed within one unified body that Tianming controlled. The concentrated Omnisentient Power that flowed through his body was the edge they needed!
"I can control much more energy than before!" Cosmoforce of four types—infernal, genesis, primordial, and radix—surged within him like never before. Thanks to being able to use his beasts' abilities and Lan Huang's physical strengthening, he was just as, if not more, potent than specters! "I’ve achieved the strongest combat form in history!"
